《The overpowered Tacos, aka the God of Cancers》A little meat girl in search of knowledge

Food is essential for the proper functioning of a body. Without food, no energy. Without energy, nothing. A body cannot move without energy. On the one hand, food is one of the fundamentals of life. We could however take the example of plants which do not nourish in the same way as animals, but it is like a case apart. Furthermore, oxygen and water are also vital fundamentals, but we are talking about food here.

The food itself is divided into a lot of categories, whether it is tastes like sweet or salty, whether it is the existing varieties of food or even more complex things like the food pyramid, targeting in particular starchy food, dairy products or vegetables and fruits.

On Earth, the most popular foods are among the most harmful in reality to health, being fatty products, generally responsible for junk food, such as burgers, sweets and others, and therefore health problems, ranging from simple carries to bigger diseases like diabetes. Their addictive taste camouflages this insanity and therefore quite easily causes junk food.

A food, or rather a "recipe", exists in particular in several regions of the world. Appreciated by many, it took various forms depending on the place and time, and can contain just as many calories as its burger cousins or more. Tacos, true delicacies for some, disgust for others. The probably incalculable combinations of meats according to the sizes chosen allow new flavors and subtle tastes.

In a small French town, with the bewitching name of Val-en-Cygne, there is one of the stores serving these consistent Tacos. But like in all restaurants, good or bad, leftovers are inevitable. This brand, with the delicious name of U'Tacos, quite often has them because of their great hearty dish. Cordon bleu, minced meat, nuggets, any garnish can be put aside by more-hungry. That day, an order was left untouched by a customer who left before even receiving it. This Tacos, which we could consider as "intact", still had all its warmth, its aromas and its desire to satisfy the palate of the one who had decided on its existence. But no one was finally there to give it justice.

Finally, the daytime hours ended and the U'Tacos closed for the day, that famous Tacos in the garbage. This loneliness, this dissatisfaction, this feeling of betrayal, all that made something incredible happened. Something beyond the established logic of this world: This M-Size cordon bleu and minced meat Tacos with unwelcome mayonnaise sauce came to life. In the guise of a young girl. A scientific aberration had just arisen, given that through this humanoid food had been embodied the whole concept of Tacos. All the Tacos in the world were linked to her, regardless of their content, form or geolocation. The little girl had become THE Tacos, it was a bit of the incarnation of the concept itself. Like an abstract existence. In her new form, Miss Tacos opened her eyes.

>

For the first time since the creation of the Tacos, one of them was endowed with the sense of sight.

>

Then followed the voice. Her knowledge was based on everything she had heard and experienced as simple Tacos around the world.

>

Barely born, she was already wondering about the reason for her existence. Looking around, she saw the U'Tacos who had seen her conceived. Without lights, the atmosphere was indeed dead.

>

With a gesture of her hand, she wanted to open the lights. It was done. However, the fuses overloaded and blew.

>

She had just acquired the sense of hearing. At the same time, she discovered fear.

>

Without lights, she decided to create it herself with a wave of her finger. Afterwards, small luminescent orbs appeared around her, like fireflies.

>

Amazed, she had discovered the feeling of admiration. She seemed overwelmed in various powers of which she was obviously not yet aware, content to discover them in a very fortuitous coincidence. With those orbs swirling around her, she toured the entire restaurant. Tables, armchairs and chairs, checkout, kitchens, all logical things in a restaurant sign. However, she wanted to discover the world in which she had incarnated. To answer this urge, she used what she had heard from customers. But since she instinctively knew that was not enough, she searched the various places and came across a computer connected to the checkout level. Positioning her hand in front of the screen, she lit it and bypassed the security system to access the Internet.

>

Connected to the network, she scrolled through information extremely quickly without even reading it with her eyes, like files being downloaded to a device. With so much information accumulated in her new memory, she was aberrated by the atrocities of humanity. This data transfer also gave her the other senses of touch and smell. She already had the taste because she was the embodiment of something as good as Tacos. She was now afraid of the cruelty of the world she had fallen into.

>

But in this cluster of unfortunate events, there were other things, on the contrary, much more beautiful. When faced with things like art, video games or the conquest of space, his feeling of wonder was activated at the same time as a feeling of very intense curiosity. Among all this, astronomy and the wonders of the cosmos intrigued her greatly.

>

Awakening a certain passion for the stellar immensity, the young girl decided to go and conquer it herself in order to satisfy her thirst for learning on her own. Shutting off all electrical devices by thought as it was before her arrival, she was finally ready to leave for this new world. But she faced a big problem.

>

Trying to see, she noticed her ability to pass through matter.

>

So crossing the door, she found herself outside. Suddenly, a gust of wind blew over her.

>

She closed her eyes then and focused on the air currents. Without waiting, she calculated the strength and composition of the wind in front of her and created a kind of passive barrier around her against the winds, annihilating the impact of the latter.

>

Now in search of knowledge, however, she did not know what to do. Cogitating, she told herself that flying would be good to reach the space which is several tens of thousands of kilometers above her, and thinked of something that could be within her reach.

>

Thinking further, she thought of machines like rockets.

>

For the first time in her short life, she was starting to lose hope. It was then that she saw magpies, a thieving bird she had seen in encyclopedias.

>

But she resolved to the idea that she wasn't a bird, so she might well not be restricted by it. In her resolve, the pebbles around her flew and so did she.

>

It seemed very strange to her. Then she thought about what partly governed the world around her.

>

It shone a ray of hope in her and made her discover the feeling of joy. Confident then, she rose into the air and took off towards the stars. She flew as fast as the photons, that she saw it here and there of her surroundings.

>

Astonished, she did not pay attention to this detail and continued on her way. Leaving in height high mountains like Everest, she rushed into the stratosphere. About 50 kilometers high, she reached the mesosphere. Once in the thermosphere, she reached the Kármán Line about a 100 kilometers from the continent and was finally in the so-called space.

>

But that was not enough for her. Just seeing the Earth moving away from her wasn't enough, she wanted more information. Continuing its momentum, she crossed the thermosphere tripling its speed and reached the exosphere after about 700 kilometers. She found all of these events magnificent, but getting closer to the stars was one of her crucial goals. She wanted to contemplate their warmth and light closer than any human had ever done. Crossing then more than 10.000 kilometers of distance, it exceeded the exosphere and found herself in the real space vacuum.

>

Now in space, she felt her objective at arm's length. But as everything smiled on her, a hole appeared in front of her.

>

Suddenly, that same hole exerted an intense pull on her.

>

The attraction grew stronger and stronger.

>

In her helplessness, she was grabbed by the entity and disappeared, shreded. Thrown to the other end of the universe, the few miraculous atoms that remained united and made her a new body. Having a new breath, she regained conciousness as best she could.

>

She had miraculously emerged from a black hole. Without her sudden gift of regeneration, surely she would probably die. Now fully recovered from this incident, however, she was at the edge of the universe, far from the planet that had seen her be born. Lost, far from the star that she discovered in the tale of Icarus and that she wanted so much to perceive, she found herself in a very inhospitable void.

>

Alone, she wandered for several centuries, without crossing a single star, a single planet or just a simple rock. The void in which she was sailing was indeed empty. She was not feeding, she did not have the possibility anyway and did not need it by the nature of her existence, the embodiment of Tacos. She wasn't breathing either, but it seemed obvious now. As for tiredness, despite his traveling without interruption during all these years, it was not felt. She seemed inexhaustible. Then came a millennium of wandering. After a while, she still encountered some stellar rocks, even if rare. Some of them contained small crystals forged by the pressure of distant stars' hearts and their heat. At least she said to herself. In their contents, she found extremely complex mysterious genetic codes, which she modified and tooked to monopolize them. From her genetic manipulation, she acquired various powers : Elemental manipulations, such as fire, water, electricity or metal, as well as some more specific ones, such as creation of illusions, instant healing or duplication ability.

Abilities aside, after so many years she finally reaches a starless and isolated planet. She had never seen a planet excluded from a solar system, therefore without a star to provide it with a suitable heat necessary for life. After so much loneliness, she let go of this detail and went down in the direction of this lonely globe. Once on land, she was surprised by the idyllic landscapes and welcoming climates. But despite everything, no inhabitant was to be noted. All the places she visited seemed completely abandoned, as if deserted following a disaster which, obviously, did not leave any consequences.

>

So many questions wich answers cames really quickly. Without warning, an earthquake struck, taking her by surprise and forcing her to rise into the air.

>

From the ground emerges then a creature with scales and a mouth itself furnished with sharp teeth arranged like a giant drill.

>

Barely finishing her monologue, she narrowly dodged a quick blow from the beast. Presumably angry or just starving, she targeted her with a wildness she had never seen before. Despite her best efforts, she narrowly dodged quite frequently, the spikes of the beast straight out of the ground going at a speed close to hers. Even with her cloning ability and healing gifts, she struggled to stand up to the beast. His illusions weren't much help either, the monster automatically knew where the original was. The fight dragged on for nearly a year. Even if this duration is laughable compared to that of her wandering, she was strangely starting to tire. As for the monster, he didn't seem to give up.

>

During all this year of savagery, the topography of the places had changed completely, the surface of the globe no longer looked the same, even from space. The elements seemed to do nothing to this underground worm. The fire only further fueled his ardor, the water allowed him to move better, the electricity struggled to pass through his hard breastplate and the metallic objects it created barely touched it. She had tried to manipulate the iron inside the body of the beast by bypassing its indestructible scales, but she seemed to not even contain any. Many times she thought she was losing, but her determination seemed to keep her legs upright. Even more complex powers like her gravity alteration didn't work on this monster. He wasn't too heavy, he just seemed to negate the fact that gravity was was modified around him. Ditto for intangibility, although she hadn't used it to fight, she tried to break through the armor of the beast. In vain. The latter prevented everything from crossing it. As if the intangible became tangible.

>

All of her powers, she had tested them, but none worked. She was losing more and more hope and had already forgotten the reason for this conflict. However, the creature suddenly stopped, for no apparent reason, and simply stared at her. She didn't understand why the monster in front of her had stopped, but she saw it as an opportunity. This was before a resounding growl emerged from his sharp mouth. Surprised, she walked away, putting herself on guard, in case an equally surprised counterattack. Instead, a dismal voice echoed in the vastness and desolation of the battlefield.

>

>

>

>

She had never thought of any name for herself. The monster, usually so wild, had just shown a civility.

>

She was confused. It was the first time anyone had asked her for something, which was moreover so personal.

>

>

A stake suddenly appeared from the ground in her direction and, taken by surprise, had her arm pierced.

>

She was unable to regenerate. The monster's stakes appeared to be covered with an anti-regenerative substance. Cornered, she had to find a name quickly.

>

>

>

The monster slowly approached her and seemed to glare at her despite her lack of eyeballs. Angela was afraid again. Then the monster walked away, removed the stake across her arm, and healed her.

>

>

An intense light coming from the body of the creature came suddenly and violently dazzled Angela. Once the flash of light dissipated, a male-looking humanoid with surprisingly developed musculature appeared in front of her.

>

Angela didn't know what to think about the events. The creature she had fought tirelessly for a whole year, even if it meant wasting away all of the planet's potential biodiversity, had transformed before her eyes into a mature man, with protruding muscles and blindfolded.

>

>

>

Scyllah interrupted her.

>

>

>

>

Scyllah then emitted a black aura, which gave Angela chills.

>

>

Angela really had no idea how long had passed since her birth in this restaurant. Thinking, she relives her memories scrolling through her memory, like flashbacks. A real photographic memory.

>

>

>

Scyllah turned to her threateningly.

>

Seeing her scared face, he smiled.

>

>

>

>

>

Angela realized why the surface of this planet emitted starless heat and visibly welcomed life. Scyllah was simply responsible for it. She also realized that he was a real monster. Although her worm-like appearance was already terrifying and incredibly powerful, she guessed that this humanoid appearance standing in front of her was on a whole new level. Paradoxically, this appearance of a mature man was much more monstrous than the previous form. She knew she would be no match for Scyllah as it was. His simple aura was even enough to scare her. Angela had therefore opted for a pacifist temperament to avoid any confrontation.

>

>

>

>

Scyllah cross-legged and sits down on the floor.

>

>

Scyllah pointed to the sky.

>

>

Scyllah looked up at Angela.

>

Silently and with incredible speed, Scyllah found himself behind Angela.

>

Angela felt a sense of dread hearing the whisper from the corner of her shoulder, and before she could move, Scyllah was already holding her in the palm of his hand by the throat. She tried to loosen herself from this vise, but in vain. The pressure was way too great to be able to move even one of her fingers.

>

>

>

Angela didn't know what to do. Seeing that there was nothing she could do, she released her strength and stopped struggling.

>

Scyllah then deposited Angela on the ground with surprising gentleness, much to the latter's astonishment.

>

>

>

Angela remained silent in her incomprehension. Sometimes Scyllah behaved like a bloodthirsty enemy, sometimes he behaved like a mentor.

>

>

>

Angela looked intently at the item Scyllah had just given her.

>

>

>

>

>

Scyllah raised his arm and arched him all the way down before waving it at Angela. It was then that she discovered what uneasiness was. Immediately after, a large sparkling mist invades the place, sparkling like a starry sky.

>

>

>

Looking up, she saw stars and constellations that were foreign to her.

>

>

>

>

>

>

>

>

>

>

>

>

>

Scyllah had redone her killer gaze despite her lack of gaze.

>

Angela didn't know what to say. Looking at the fragment, the latter suddenly rose into the air and melted towards her heart. She had no reaction, just a backward movement due to the shock.

>

>

>

>

Suddenly, the earth shook and everything began to fall apart.

>

>

>

>

>

The earthquakes intensified more and more and the planet began to collapse on herself. Neither one nor two, Angela knew she had to go. Flying to space, she saw the whole planet destroy herself and disappear, as if sucking through a black hole in its center.

>

However, everything had not been erased. A very small piece of earth had remained in the middle of the void, a small rock with an appearance similar to that of a seed.

>

Approaching this seed, she squirted a little water and made a bubble around it, held in place by the absence of gravity. She then wielded the fire as simple heat to keep the water continually hot.

>

Continuing her stride in the endless cosmos, Angela now had a more important goal than simply discovering new things : A host of opponents awaited her firmly and were apparently ready to do battle. Following the astral map given by Scyllah, she followed the line of fate connecting her to the other bosses and left on her way to the second, in a star shape.
