《Silver Lucky's Lovely Wubbles》WP 027 - Dammit Brian!

I stared at my partner as my throbbing migraine tried to evolve to the next level. My suit finished its 12th diagnostic and my armor was clean and clear.
"Dammit Brian, what did I say about romancing the alien!?" I screamed at the idiot. He stared back sheepishly.
The mission was simple. Touch down, and do a meet and greet with the locals and wait for the cargo to be brought to the transport. Load it up and then go home.
Standard cargo procedures.
Except for this time, I got Brian as a partner. Dammit, Brian.
I now fully understood Brian Pay. Bonus hours for dealing with the man. Well, man child since he was mentally in his teens.
Brian had a weakness for new and diverse inter-species sex. He loved the novelty of it, and the no strings attached since we rarely hit the same planet twice. Sure the company returned, but a rotating guard had us travel all across the universe.
The more experience you had, the more likely you were in hostile zones. The more hostile zones, the better the pay and perks.
I watched Brian fiddle with the tentacle quivering out of his shoulder. Out of his reinforced, plasteel composite armor. The thing could withstand heavy punishment this tentacle was poking out of it.
My diagnostic system touched his and the results hurt me. His entire left torso was infected!
"I told you the Gallsarian chick was trouble!" I ranted again as Brian shook hands with his new hand.
"Hah... You think the captain is going to notice?" Brian hedged as his eyes met mine. I sighed.
"Brian. Half of your face is puke green and that tentacle has poked through your uniform!" I grimaced as the thing stopped and then waived at me.

Screw it. I waved back.
"Yeah, so is that a maybe?"
"You know what Brian? Maybe your right. Everything is going to be ok," I relented and Brian smiled at me. If the man wasn't related to the CEO, I am sure no one would have said a word if I shot him.
I was in for a tough exam, but I took solace in the single fact that Brian was going to get skinned alive by the Captain, the Quarter Master, the Doctor, and the Chief of Storage.
I never understood why I had a special program installed in my communication system. The 'Brian Special' they called it. Sent an alert straight to command and even processed the paperwork it would all generate. All you had to do was fill in a few blanks after you got aboard.
I sent the 'Brian Special' up and tried to ignore the idiot. He giggled as he poked his new tentacle again. Wait... why are there two wiggling things from the hole...
Dammit, Brian!

An Unbound Soul
When Peter suffers a too-close encounter with a truck, he finds himself reborn in another world. At first glance it is a perfect fantasy land. There's magic to play with, elves singing in the forest and a hyperactive catgirl neighbour. There's even a System that lets him earn skills and level up. But it isn't long before he notices that the world is far too perfect. Just why is everyone so nice? Can Peter accept the alien morality of this world's self-proclaimed protector, or will he seek to overthrow her? Set after the events of A Lonely Dungeon, a few hundred years after the rebirth of civilization, this is a story about an earthling falling into Erryn's new world and the subsequent struggles of himself and Erryn to understand each other. It's a slow paced slice of life, and while there are pieces of action, don't expect any immediate grand conflict between Erryn and Peter. Published here, scribblehub and amazon. Two new chapters a week on Tuesdays and Fridays.

The 8th Day
One day life is good. The next day it isn't! The boundaries between... well, whatever they're between.. have shattered! Monsters burst out from cracks in the universe, and reality suddenly begins to function similar to a game -- but not a game that anyone knows all the rules about! Magic is suddenly real, but so are monsters and death! Lots of death! And the worst part of it all? I think we did it to ourselves! We invented video games, and personally I think that great Finger-in-the-Sky picked up a console somewhere and started playing them. Since He liked what he saw, he must've declared, """"On the 8th Day, let there be Game!"But what do I know about it all, really. After all, I'm just """"The Witness"""" forced to observe it all.__________________________________________________________________________Author's Note: There's a lot of tales where characters get stuck in a Virtual Reality. """"Sword Art Online"""", """"Log Horizon"""", """"The Legendary Moonlight Sculptor"""". This is a story told with the premise inverted -- instead of a person from reality going into a virtual world, what would happen if the virtual world instead came to reality?I want this tale to speak about the aspects of the game, as it has affected the current reality, but the focus of the story should never be on the """"reality-turned-game"""" itself, but on the characters and their oh-so-human struggles, personalities, and attempt to adjust and live within the bounds of their new existence. Hopefully this won't just be a story of """"reality turned into a game"""", but instead will be something more meaningful such as a story of the strengths, perseverance, and humanity of man-kind as they try to adapt and face the unknown.*** And, most importantly, I hope everyone enjoys reading it as much as I've enjoyed writing it. ***WARNING: RATED MATURE M[18+] FOR GORE, SEX, VIOLENCE. The apocalypse isn't a pretty place to try to survive in, and neither is every scene in a story trying to describe it.
