They had won and yet she felt that they had only finished the easy tasks. Topple an opposing empire was one thing, rebuilding your own was another.
Truly, a soldier's work was never done.
In the deep reaches of space, a distress signal was received.
The 110th Prime Fleet had failed.
The High Council gathered, their images projected towards the Elected Prime, and they read through the sorta data.
The combat data showcased how they had lost. These Earthlings had indeed won.
The Elected Prime leaned back into its chair.
The 89th Prime Fleet and 77th Prime Fleet had consolidated their presence in those systems.
