Takumi looked at Akane.
“Water… Please.” Akane mumbled, looking at the bottle on the table.
Takumi gave the bottle and she drank the entire bottle, catching back air.
“So… Akane, Byakuya, explain.” Takumi said, as he sat down.
The room went quiet, everyone looked at Akane. She slowly took a deep breath.
“We… Have a big problem.” Akane mumbled.
“Woah... we?” Kuruka asked.
“Yes… We all.” Akane replied.
“My subordinates spotted a various group of people… We thought they were ordinary foreigners.” Akane started to explain.
“But they were members of a group called: ‘The Allied Gang’.” Akane said.
“We did some research and found out that multiple gangs from the entire world have gathered here.” Akane explained.
Ukato’s eyes widened up.
“That means…” Ukato mumbled.
“... That they’re after our bounty!” Nokado interrupted him.
“N- No not that… but.” Ukato said, as he looked at Akane.
“Mostly when foreign gangs come to Japan is because they want to make business with The Yakuza, right?” Ukato asked.
“...No, not this time.” Akane replied.
“They are aiming for something else, but as big as the Yakuza themselves.” Akane explained.
“What could that be?” Ukato asked in despair.
Something…
Something bigger than the Yakuza existed…
And we didn’t know a thing about it, until these events occurred…
“The thing is, we found this gang I was talking about. So I and my subordinates followed them.” Akane explained.
“... We found a clue that leaded to a train, what it has is unknown, but I placed a GPS Tracker...” Akane explained.
“... I know it’s unrespectful, but I beg the Ishido clan to check it out.” Akane begged.
Takumi smirked.
“... The Ishido Clan?” Takumi asked.
“We aren’t the Ishido Clan anymore...” Takumi mumbled.
The others looked at Takumi, all smiling.
“From now on we are...” Takumi said, pointing to his Earring.
“The Reborn Rings.”
Akane’s eyes lightened up.
The boys sure looked different than she had imagined.
Nokado stretched, following up with a yawn.
“So… Where is this train?” Nokado asked.
Akane slowly sat down, reaching for her pocket.
She grabbed a GPS-Tracker with a coordinate not so far away from here.
Rikishi grinned, as he grabbed the GPS-Tracker.
“Yosh! Time to go back to business!” Rikishi shouted, proudly.
Takumi stood up, as they all walked out of the mansion.
“Akane, you better stay at the exact position you are.” Nokado said.
“Oh-... Sure.” Akane replied.
“Good, see ya!” Nokado said, shutting the door.
They all entered the car and drove as fast as they could to the GPS coordinates…

A group of four people walked out of the airport, one of them letting out a big sigh.
“Man… Did we really need to go to Japan?” The man asked.
“What are you talking about, it was your idea to contact them.” Another person next to him said.
“Guys, calm. We have all the time we need, because they don’t know our names here.” The third person said.
“Listen up, everyone...” The last man said, who looked twice as big of the average human.
The man let out a sigh.
“... We didn’t come all the way from the Netherlands to have fun here.” The man explained.
“And I hope no one forget their code name?” The man said, looking at everyone.
One of them started to whistle and look around.
“Seriously?” The man said, letting out a sigh.
“Ehh.. hehe.” The other one said, smirking.
“Yours was Red...” The huge man said to the 1st one.
“... The one next to you is Blue...” The man followed up, looking at the 2nd one.
“... And you were White.” The man finished, looking at the 3rd one.
“And you were Grey, right?” Red asked.
“Correct...” The huge man.
“... Looks like you still have something up there.” Grey said, pointing to Red’s forehead.
Blue started to laugh.
“S- Shut the hell up, let’s just go before I beat your ass in public.” Red said, letting out a sigh.

- - Unknown Train Station, Tokyo - -
- 16:21 -
The boys were driving with the car, as they saw one of the trains slowly go out of the Station.
“That must be it, right?” Kuruka asked.
“Of course it is, it’s the only suspicious one here.” Nokado replied.
“All right, pursue it...” Takumi said.
“... I have an idea.” Takumi followed up.
“Rikishi, get close to the train and we’ll jump inside through one of the doors.” Takumi explained.
“You got it.” Rikishi replied, as he placed more pressure onto the gas pedal.
They slowly arrived next to one of the coupe.
Takumi grabbed a shotgun and shot a hole through the lock, forcing it open.
The boys walked into the train and checked every coupe, but they realized something…
The members of the other clan weren’t at the train, or so they thought.
Until the members all walked up to the front coupe, standing on the roof.
Another train arrived on the train track next to them and the members jumped onto the other train.
Rikishi grabbed his Walkie-Talkie,
“Oi, something is suspicious, they jumped into another train...” Rikishi said.
“Okay, just a bit more time…” Takumi replied.

Kuruka’s coupe had the the ‘Ace of Spades’ card printed on the wall, following up with a coordinate.
The other coupes were empty or had useless thing in them, so they boys jumped back into the car. They instantly realized they missed someone. The person was Tado. Tado’s coupe showed a random coordinate with the words: “Contact The Yakuza.” He quickly wrote it down.
Rikishi drove and saw through his mirror the members, his eyes widened up.
One of them…
Was holding an remote explosive button…
Rikishi quickly grabbed his Walkie-Talkie.
“Oi! Get out, no- !”
Just as Rikishi was warning Tado, the front coupe of their train exploded, following up with the other coupes.
Tado quickly jumped out of his Coupe last second and landed in the car. Rikishi uses the brakes and drives back the other way.
“What took you so long?” Rikishi asked.
“I… thought I had found a clue.” Tado mumbled.
“Well, I guess that was for nothing.” Nokado said, letting out a sigh.
“Not true… I found a coordinate.” Kuruka said.
The others turn to him.
“There also was an ‘Ace of Spades’ logo printed inside my coupe.” Kuruka explained.
“Ace of Spades, you mean like the poker card?” Takumi asked.
Kuruka nodded. The others were silent.
“Oh and, Rikishi.” Takumi said.
“Yeah?” Rikishi asked.
“You saw them, right?” Takumi asked.
“Yes I did, but I couldn’t recognize anyone. Their faces were completely covered.” Rikishi explained.
Takumi let out an non-relieved sigh.
“Well, we have no other choice but to check out the coordinate.” Takumi said, as the car drove back to their mansion…

- - The second train, Tokyo - -
- 17:30 -
“... So, those must be the new ones?” One of them said.
“Yeah, definitely...” Another one replied.
“We did them good, boys.” The one in the middle one said.
“Let’s hope they fell for it.” Another one said.
“They must have felt for it… I can feel it.” The last one replied.
The train drove through the city and they jumped off the Train.
The blonde boy with blue eyes let out a sigh.
“Something wrong, America?” The one with the gas mask and bunny ears asked.
“It’s suspicious, Canada. What if they find the right code?” America explained.
The one with the black and red devil mask walked up to them.
“There is a chance, but I bet you one of them fell for it.” The one with the devil mask said.
“China is right, at least one should have.” The younger boy with Devil ears said.
“What if they haven’t, Spain?” America asked, looking at the younger boy.
“They must have, right, United Kingdom?” Spain asked, looking at the oldest of them all with a plastic bag on his head.
“Of course they did! It was my plan after all.” United Kingdom replied.
America stood back up, standing in the middle.
“All right, we did this part of the mission, but there is more left to it...” America said, grinning.
“...Let’s go say hello to the Leader of the ‘Ace Of Spades’.” America said, as they walked off...

- - Back at the Mansion, Tokyo - -
- 17:37 -
Rikishi opened the door, as he let out a sigh.
Akane slowly took a seat back up.
“So? What happened?” Akane asked.
“Well… We found one clue, we think.” Rikishi replied, showing the coordinates.
Akane looked up, noticing two people are missing.
“Where did Takumi and Ukato go?” Akane asked.
“Oh, they went to the mall. They said they will buy some accessories.” Rikishi said.
“Nokado, Kuruka. You two should check where the coordinate leads to, Tado and I will stay with Akane.” Rikishi explained.
“You got it, we’ll search into it.” Nokado replied, with a sarcastic salute.

- - Mall in Tokyo - -
- 17:40 -
Takumi let out a bothered sigh.
“Something wrong?” Ukato asked.
“You know, I was thinking...” Takumi said.
“... It’s getting really rough, isn’t it?” Takumi followed up.
“Rough indeed.” Ukato replied, smirking.
“So, what why did you want to go to the mall?” Ukato asked.
“We need some supplies, the fridge is almost empty, you know?” Takumi replied.
“That’s true, but I thought you wanted to grab something else from here.” Ukato said.
“No, just food.” Takumi replied, smiling.
They both walked to the cashier. Takumi’s eyes lightened up.
“Oh shit- I forgot the milk.” Takumi said.
“Then go get it quick.” Ukato replied.
“Okay, wait here.” Takumi said, running off to the milk.
He walks through the place, but he couldn’t find the milk.
“Where the hell did they place the milk?” Takumi asked to himself.
Sudden footsteps could be heard behind him-
“Searching for the milk?” A man asked, behind him.
“Yes, do you know where- !”
Takumi’s eyes widened up. When he turned, a pistol was aimed straight at his face. A man with white hair and purple eyes stood in front of him. His grin was huge, the man followed up with:
“... No need to thank me..." The man mumbled.
"...Ishido, Takumi.”

Flame Beneath The Snowfall
Alto is a world governed by Tones. Magic, as one might call it. Manifested through deep mental and physical conditioning, one can control the Tones in a way that is unique to them. The power to store items in gems, transfer life, affect a person's mind, and even the more primal abilities such as control of the elements. Those who have these supernatural abilities are called 'Vassals.' People that fully manifest their abilities are not as common as one might think, and not all Vassals acquire their ability through practice, given if conditions are met. In fact, those who had received much trauma manifest the Tones more frequently, albeit spontaneously. However, the rare kind of Vassals are those who manifest it from childhood. A gift, but not without its repercussions. Alto is stuck in a transitional era, where the line between modern and dated technology is blurred. One can travel to a city that has a tall skyline, bustling with people in sophisticated clothing, or a mere town governed by a lord, all the while riding on a powered vehicle. Cultures vary: Some turn to the more dated practices such as castes, others are more inclined to set equal footing on their people, led by nobility. Some are dedicated to become scholars, studying Alto's Tones, while others set foot on hunts, protecting lone towns from the creatures of some of the still-untamed lands. And the Vassals? Those willing are took under The Organization, an elusive group, its presence said to permeate all throughout Alto, taking care of Rogue Vassals that abuse their abilities and other businesses related to their side. But what is this story all about, you may ask? Well, set your sights on the upper portions of this huge landmass that is Alto. Yes, the 'whole' world is called Alto, but that is because the majority of the known people live on this large continent. Relieve yourself of the worrying tensions everywhere, and see the white snow. Trace the piercing mountaintops and focus your eyes between the valley. A town sits there. Mido. After realizing that the memories only left in his mind was the night of his town's imminent destruction in flames, a boy finds himself grasping for every fiber of his life as he lays down flat on the ground. Beneath him was soot mixed with the white snow. Fortunately, a group of investigators, who were supposed to answer their call for help, saved him from his sorry state. With a newfound second wind, but hampered by his loss of memory, he must solve his own case: Who had the audacity to set Mido, his town, aflame? Flame Beneath the Snowfall focuses on action, with a sense of adventure, but mostly the discovery of an outside world, and the protagonist's exposure to it. Add in a whisk of soft magical elements, and you get a story that I hope will be interesting to the readers. That is not to say that my work is without the sense of unnerving atmosphere, however. As a forewarning, there are elements of gore, horror, minor elements of mental trauma, etc. so it is not for all audiences. *The book is already completed. Although I have plans to continue the story (it would have to involve much larger scope in terms of world-building), I have yet to decide when to start the next entry.
