"You shouldn't search attention from him." Ukato said, looking at Takumi.
Takumi let out a sigh. He thought about those two. He had many questions for them. He looked at the rest.
"You know those two?" Takumi asked to Anne and Ryan.
"Yeah, they both entered the mansion just today." Ryan replied.
"Do you two know anything about them?" Takumi asked.
Anne was quiet, as she looked away. Ryan looked up.
"No, we-" "I want the truth." Takumi interrupted Ryan.
Ryan looked at Takumi. He could sense this interrogating aura on him. He let out a sigh.
"It is the truth." Ryan replied, again.
"It definitely isn't, I can see that." Takumi replied.
Anne walked up.
"If you want to know that badly, ask them yourself." Ryan said.
Suddenly Anne stood in front of them.
"I know something..." Anne mumbled.
"Good, explain." Takumi continued.
"But you have to promise me one thing..." Anne followed up.
"...Promise me you won't fight him." Anne said.
Takumi smirked.
"Why would I fight him?" Takumi asked.
Anne looked up. Takumi's eyes widened up as he realized that Anne was not joking around
"Promise me..." Anne asked, again.
"Oh- uhh… I promise." Takumi said.
He ended up promising to Anne...

Rikishi took a seat on the bench, Tado stood next to him. Rikishi then laid onto the bench. He slowly looked up, then back to Tado.
"I- Is there something?" Tado asked.
Rikishi didn't reply, as he suddenly slammed his fist onto the bench. Tado jumped up of shock, as he started becoming nervous.
"It's just… That Takumi." Rikishi mumbled.
Rikishi couldn't change the subject in his memory, all he could think of was him being seen like a leader by those other three. Suddenly footsteps could be heard on the grass, someone stood in the distance. Rikishi's eyes widened up as he saw the person. He stood up.
"Why are you here?" Rikishi asked, grinning.
The person in the distance was Takumi.
"Rikishi..." Takumi said.
"...Tell me something..." Takumi followed up.
"...Why are you here?" Takumi continued, looking down.

Tado's eyes widened up.
"He can't-" "- Hehehe..." Tado was just about to say something, as he got interrupted by Rikishi's laugh.
"...Hahaha..." Rikishi followed up.
Rikishi walked up to him.
"...I don't think you'll survive that kind of mental story." Rikishi said, grinning.
"Well then… Another question." Takumi said, looking up.
Takumi was grinning, as he pointed to Tado.
"...Why does he have that on his mouth." Takumi asked.
Rikishi's eyes widened up.
"W- What?" Rikishi mumbled, taking a step back.
"You know it, don't you?" Takumi asked, taking one step closer.
"If you have something you're hiding, you might as well spit it out, now." Takumi followed up.
Tado's eyes widened up. Rikishi grinned.
"You..." Rikishi mumbled, slowly reaching for his pocket.
Tado's eyes widened up even more.
"...You know too much!" Rikishi shouted, as he pulled out a knife.
Takumi's eyes widened up as he saw Rikishi swing with the knife. Suddenly someone grabbed his arm. Rikishi turned and saw Tado hugged his arm, tightly.
"S- Stop this…" Tado mumbled.
Rikishi was standing still, as his hand was shaking. Rikishi's sleeve slowly rolled down a little. Takumi could notice small scars on his arm.
"...J- Just tell him… Please..." Tado followed up.
"...Brother."

"The surgery mask looks good on you..." His mother said, slowly closing the door back.
"...Never take that off your disgusting mouth." She followed up, walking off.
As his mother walked downstairs, someone was peeking through a room on the second floor.
The person walked out of the room, it was Rikishi.
His eyes widened up as he could hear Tado cry.
He slowly walked downstairs, and grabbed a knife.
Just when he grabbed the knife, someone was behind him.
Rikishi slowly turned, just to see his mother. He quickly hided the knife behind his back.
"Rikishi? What are you doing?" His mother asked.
"I couldn't sleep..." Rikishi mumbled.
"Aww… Poor you." His mother said, slowly walked up to him.
Rikishi's eyes widened up as he saw his mother smile.
"...I'll give you a good night kiss, here." His mother followed up, slowly leaned to his forehead.

Suddenly her mother's eyes widened up. Rikishi's eyes widened up too. His mother looked down and saw the knife through her stomach. Rikishi was shaking, as he slowly let go of her mother.
"...You..." His mother mumbled.
Rikishi's eyes widened up when he looked back up. His mother was still smiling.
"...Take care of Tado." She said, smiling.
Her mother leaned forward and kissed him on his head, suddenly collapsing onto the ground. Tado collapsed too. He covered his ears with his hands.
"She... She just… Wanted this?" Rikishi mumbled to himself, feared.
He slowly grabbed the knife again, looking at his arm, then back at the knife.
"T- This is my fault… I deserve punishment..." Rikishi followed up, as he slowly started to stab himself in the arm.
Hours had passed by, it was already morning. Rikishi slowly opened the door of his brothers room, Tado looked up.
"Hey, brother. It is time for us to leave this place..." Rikishi said, reaching out his hand.
Tado looked up, slowly grabbing his hand…

Takumi's eyes widened up. Rikishi was looking down. Takumi turned to Tado, only to realize he was in shock too.
"That is the truth…." Rikishi mumbled.
"...Proud now?" Rikishi followed up, looking up.
"I want to forget, but you want me to suffer..." Rikishi continued, as he made a fist out of his hand.
"...You want me to suffer, don't you. You little piece of s- !" As Rikishi was shouting, Takumi hugged them both.
"Forget it… But not everything." Takumi said.
"If you forget your mistakes, you will do them again. Over and over, until it gets you." Takumi followed up.
"I don't want to be your enemy..." Takumi continued.
"...I want to be your friend." He followed up.
Rikishi's eyes widened up, Tado's was still in shock.
"Not only yours, but Tado's friend too." Takumi followed up, letting go.
Takumi patted Tado on his head, Tado's eyes lightened up.
"We might have failed... But this place gave us a second chance." Takumi continued, smiling.
"So, come with my, and the rest, we will have the time of our lives." Takumi said.
Rikishi's eyes lightened up, as he started to tear up.
The others walked to Takumi.
Rikishi dropped the knife, as it clinged onto the dirt. Rikishi then fell on his knees.
"D- Damn it all!" Rikishi shouted, looking high up in the air.
Takumi let out a sigh of relief, as suddenly the others were behind him.
"Good job, Takumi." Kuruka said, smiling.
"Just like a leader should do." Nokado followed up.
Ukato laid his hand on Takumi's shoulder.
"To be honest… At first sight I thought you were a hand full of problems..." Ukato said.
"...But now we look like brothers, don't you think?" Ukato followed up.
Takumi smirked, as he looked high up in the air.
"You're right..." He mumbled, as he reached his hand into the sky.
"...You know what?" Takumi followed up.
Everyone turned to him.
"Let's all live together, like this..." Takumi said, smiling.
"...And we'll go to a vacation!" Takumi shouted, determined.
Ryan patted him on his head.
"Sure thing, kiddo." Ryan said, smiling.
Everything was going great, It felt like he defeated the final boss, but it also felt like the beginning…
The beginning of a friendship greater than you could imagine…
Let's pray to god it stays like this, forever…

A door slammed open.
"B- Boss, did you really?-"
"Yes, I did." The huge man on the throne interrupted the man in front of him.
His eyes widened up, as he grinned.
"The Ishido family has no one left anymore- " "W- Wrong!"
The younger man interrupted him.
"I- Ishido still has one member..." The man followed up…
"His name is Takumi Ishido." The man finished his sentence.
The huge man stood up.
"That's fine… We'll go to him when the time is right..."
"I will be the family inheritor…. No matter what..."

The Dungeon Calls for a Sage
Archimedes was the ego behind one of the most powerful dungeons ever created. He grew and developed his halls, filling them with powerful monsters and beasts, over the course of thousands of years. He was a grand structure of ten thousand floors which even heroes had failed to defeat. However, an Evil God had come from another world, calling himself the Demon King, and a party of heroes were sent to do battle with it. Through their victory, they obtained enough strength to breeze through Archimedes' dungeon like it was nothing. Forseeing the end of his life, and realizing how pointless his pursuit of power had been, Archimedes destroyed himself, taking the heroes down with him. Still, Archimedes felt despair that he had lived a worthless life as something as pitiful and futile as a dungeon. Sensing his regret and potential, the voice of the world presented Archimedes with the chance to start anew and live a more meaningful life. Thrilled and hopeful for the first time in eons, Archimedes accepted the offer, only to be reborn again as a dungeon core with not a single room or monster to his name. Just what was the meaning of this?! Archimedes couldn't figure out what the voice of the world was thinking. Somehow, he would have to draw a sage into his dungeon to figure it out for him. _______________________ DCS is now a member of the WriTEr's Pledge, which means I have sworn to see it through to a satisfying end.

Long gone are the days when every hero could do whatever they wanted - now, we are civilised. We have government. Law. And proper forms. Lots of proper forms. (Final episode 25/07/2022. Also - beta readers far into the book rate the 'gore' degree as below 2/10, so the warning is a bit much) Mary Susan Oceanrunner is a poor girl from the orphanage, who like many others before, has to fulfil her destiny. The prophecy had been told, and she is the only one who can make things right. Erm... probably. Anyway, she can't just go and kill monsters like in the middle ages. First, she must apply for the appropriate permissions, fill the forms, learn about the proper loot taxations... Hey, no one said adventuring would be easy, right? Disclaimers: No claim made by any character by the book should be treated as the author's or anyone else's opinion on any subject. Most likely, it was just the funniest thing the Author could think of at the time of writing. This book contains many references to other works. It will probably be best enjoyed by individuals familiar with at least some of the following: 1) Computer games2) Fantasy in general3) Science fiction4) Tabletop RPGs5) Conspiracy theories6) Corporation work life7) Long forgotten prophecies uttered millennia ago in almost as forgotten languages under a starless night three dusks before the great convergence8) Filling any government-mandated form9) School10) EnglishMy ultimate goal is to make as many people experience something akin to joy while reading (think ~a bit louder exhale through the nose). It doesn't mean every scene will be funny or joyful because that's not how this stuff works. I can neither confirm nor deny having any other hidden agenda outside of that.
