There is a creature rushing to the said tree.
This creature carries a spear that can pierce any known creature. On its back lies a pair of wings. Wings that gleams in the rays of the sun.

The creature stands before the hole at the trunk of the tree.
It slowly go in. Its steps was so silent that no creature heard its steps.

He knows that it will be bad when it hit him.
He quickly dodged the coming mosquito by a 1/64 of an inch. The needle of the mosquito pierced the wall and it caused a mini explosion and release a deafening sound.
*poot
He was dumfounded. If he has a proper mouth his jaw will probably fall to the ground.
This is bad. He need to run or else he is done.
Because of his inexperience he tries to escape using the tunnel. His decision caused him to be an easy target. The mosquito finished preparing the same attack and launched himself.
There is nothing he can do to evade. It pierces his neck and he was carried to the side of the wall.
He spasmed when the needle of the the mosquito. He fall to the ground and start bleeding. The bleeding was pooling on the ground.
The mosquito make a sound to Cadre as if it was talking to him. The fly did not make any movement, like it was already dead.
After moments the mosquito slowly fly out of the tunnel and exits the hole leaving behind the dead fly.
**
After a whole day have pass. The dead fly suddenly have a movement. The limbs that was in the air slowly move. The luster in its eyes slowly coming back.
Cadre was thankful to all the gods that he know. The needle of the mosquito barely misses his neck. The needle slid through the gap of his neck.
He get up and slowly walk to the entrance of the tunnel. When he was near the entrance, he cautiously look out of the hole. He was scared that the birds still haven't given up on eating him.
Luckily the birds are now gone. He walk out of the hole and he is going to his home. He was quite hungry now. After all he did not eat for almost two days now.

****Story has been dropped for being too dark**** "Anything that can go wrong, will." But what if you know what goes wrong in advance? On Earth, monsters come in human form. Some are ostracized or locked up, but others walk amongst us. They’re more common than one would think and they grow in number the higher in the hierarchy you go. With 1 in 100 people preying on the other 99, eventually, a world trying to summon a hero might end up with a monster that doesn't feel like playing along. _____________________________ The story is my take on some of my favorite genre's and tropes, some of which I have no I idea if they'll work well together. English is not my main language so if you notice any typos or grammar mistakes please tell me so I can correct them. Criticism and critique are more than welcome:) A chapter every Tuesday.*I do not own the cover image, it's taken from google.
