I love the fountain, the flowers and the trees
not even the squirrels and bees can ruin it.
People share the space, enjoy a cool breeze
as anyone who disagrees is clearly a hypocrite.
Holding hands, life doesn't seem to get better
walking that trail and taking in all the sites.
It matters not if you're cold, in need of a sweater
as any time of year can create happy highlights.
Family at the park remain cherished memories
and that time is far more special than accessories.
