《Mage vs. Modern Society》Tanaka Family

Arthur opens his eyes and stares at the destruction left by him. Downed trees accompanied by craters littered the ground around him. Distinct slash marks can be seen in the stumps of trees and the rock below him.
'I didn't think it would damage my surroundings this much!... Well, there's nothing I can do now!'
Arthur hops down off the rock as he adjusts his clothes.
"I might as well test the abilities of my magic here." Arthur says to himself as he aims the palm of his hand at the rock.
{Fire Magic: Blast}
*Fshoo*
*Boom*
A sphere of fire forms from Arthur's palm and launches forwards hitting the boulder. An explosion of fire catapults rubble and ash in all directions followed by a cloud of smoke.
"Holy shit! I never would have thought 1st circle magic could be this powerful! It was practically a 3rd circle spell!"
Arthur dances around while grabbing his head out of disbelief. 'What the hell?!' Those were the only words that could form inside his mind. An explosion of that power was caused by a mere 1st circle spell!
The smoke clears; Arthur sees the singed boulder full of cracks and covered in a layer of ash.
*Vrooom*
"That beast has returned!" Shouts Arthur as he charges towards the truck driving down the road. A young girl sitting in the back seat waves to Arthur with a smile.
"Diabolical! It swallowed a little girl!"
{Body Strengthening: Haste}
Arthur's body shines a glint of green light as his movement speed drastically increases. "Just you wait monster! I'll free that little girl from your stomach!" Shouts Arthur valiantly as he dashes past a speed sign.
40 km/h. (Approximately 25 mph.)
"Dad~, why is that man shouting at us and chasing us? Did we do something wrong?" Asks the girl in the back seat curiously. "We did nothing wrong, he's just a crazy person." The driver reassures his daughter while thinking to himself. 'I need to speed up, he's freaking me out with that crazy speed!'

Arthur can hear the car's engine rev as it's speed increases greatly. "Hahahaha! I've got it on the run now! But it can't escape me, I must save the girl inside it's belly!" Shouts Arthur boasting. Arthur watches as the car gradually gets further and further away from him. "Shit!" He shouts as he preps another spell.
{Wind Magic: Forward Gust}
An intense force of wind launches Arthur forwards towards the back of the car. "Haha! I caught you now!" Exclaims Arthur as he shoves his fist through the window.
"Kyaaa!" Shouts the girl in the back as Arthur grabs her and pulls her out of the car. "Maeda!" Shouts the driver as he abruptly slams his foot on the brake.
Arthur chuckles to himself as he pushes off the back of the car. Maeda reaches out to her father as she cries. "Noooo! I don't want to get kidnapped! Dad *hik* help me! *hik*"
{Wind Magic: Backward Gust}
The driver swerved the car around to face the now running away Arthur. Maeda, still screaming for her dad, is now stretching out a hand in hopes that her father will grab it.
"Don't you worry! I'm coming Maeda!" Shouts Haruto as he steps on the gas full speed. 'He's so fast! I have to go this fast just to keep pace with him!'
{Wind Magic: Upward Gust}
'I need to get her out of her so I can take that beast on at full power!' Arthur thinks to himself as he launches into the air holding Maeda in a princess carry.
"W-w-w-w-where are we?!" Asks Maeda out of shock as she looks up at the grinning Arthur. Maeda starts squirming around in his arms, trying to get loose and escape his grasp. "Do you want to die?!" Questions Arthur while yelling down at a still crying Maeda.

Arthur's tone only made her cry more. Tears flowed from her eyes like a fountain as the two began their descent towards the ground.
'Now I add a little bit more wind magic to safely land!'
{Wind Magic: Wind Step}
Arthur calmly walks down the sky like it's a staircase. Each step made Maeda more anxious about the outcome of this situation.
Haruto watches in utter disbelief as Arthur walks down the sky towards a singed boulder and destroyed forest. Haruto wipes his eyes thinking he is just seeing things but nothing changes. The same sight is still etched into his retinas.
"What...the...hell?!" Says Haruto without realizing he was speaking. He snaps back to reality as Arthur sets Maeda down on the boulder and turns to face the car with malicious intent oozing from him. "Oh shit! I don't know why, but I feel super scared right now!"
{Fire Magic: Fire Blast}
A large sphere of fire hurdles towards the car. Haruto manages to escape just as the vehicle explodes in an eruption of fire and ash.
"Are you the beast's handler?!" Shouts Arthur as another fireball forms on his palm. "Beast? I don't know what you're talking about? I-I just wanted to get my daughter back from you!" The fire in Arthur's hand extinguished as he went to rub his chin.
"Your daughter?" He asks calmly as he points to Maeda. "Yes, my daughter! Give her back!" Screams Haruto as he uncaps a pen and charges towards Arthur.
{Earth Magic: Hole}
The ground beneath Haruto's feet hallows out and he plummets three meters to the bottom.
"Let me out of here! Give me my daughter back, you monster!" Shouts Haruto as Arthur vanishes from sight only to reappear with Maeda in tow.
"Is this man your father?" Asks Arthur as he points towards Haruto. "Yes!" Maeda nods her head and speaks in a shaky voice. 'Shit~~~~~!' Arthur shakes to himself while he undoes the Earth Magic spell. 'This could be bad!'
The Tanaka family couldn't face Arthur. They weren't sure whether to be scared, angry, or amazed at him. They could only stare at the ground as Arthur rubbed his forehead out of annoyance.
'Ah shit! Well, I might as well talk to them!'
