16:00 After school, Syd Barrett's safe house.
{ Brother... About that woman.}
" About Jody? "
{Why did you trust her?}
“......”
{This is the craziest thing you've ever done...}
" Bring a civilian into the operation? As if no one has ever done it before."
{ Syd. But once she joins...there's no way out. You're dragging someone's life into this cycle and she knows nothing!}
“ I gave her an offer she can't refuse."
{Which is?}
"Remember what we saw? She has something brittle bone disease."
{ The brittle bone disease...? And...?....}
"...."
"...."
“ Do the math, Roxxy.”
"...."
“....”
{ wait a second... Brother... Don't tell me that you...}
" I'll teach her the swapping technique. In exchange, She'll work for me."
{ You sure she's trust-worthy...? Big brother...you just meet her for a day and you've already made a decision???}
" I'm confident. A person like Jody wouldn't let it slipped. This technique is the only way to cure her bone disease or else she would spend her entire life being a cripple."
Syd can hear his sister sighing.
{Alright... If it's your decision... looks like she's at your door right now.}
" Ok."
Out.
He put the phone in a pocket and headed to the front door.
( Door opened )
Jody Johanson, in the blue coat, standing at the entrance but there's something beside her.
It's the luggage.
More than that, She's carrying something in the plastic bag.
"Aye Yooo... What the fuck...?”
" I bought you milk from the store. In case you don't like the original flavor, I also got you a strawberry one. Oh, and if you don't like strawberry, I got you chocolate. Where should I put it in? Where's the fridge?"
" Keep it for your calcium-less-legs."
He said in a harsh voice.
The truth is, since Jody knew she's older than him, She kept behaving toward him like he's a kid all day long.
Was this some kind of payback of that time he's spying on her patient record?
Probably.
Syd Barrett hated being treated like a kid.
And she knew it by his reaction.
Ah, shit...
" That's so mean. I bought them for you."
Said the girl.
The girl stepped into the house, crossing the “Welcome” carpet.
" What about those suitcases? "
Asked the boy while he's closing the door, “ I don't remember asking you to bring your stuff here.”
" Still don't get what this is? I've decided to move here." Said Jody, smirking.
" you-WHAT?"
" I've made a decision. I'll move here."
She repeated,
" Don't you agree? I think it'll be better if I stay at your place. I can practice the swapping technique under your supervision. So that when I make a mistake, I fix it. Another thing is... we can discuss our mission fluently without any disturbance."
" Uhm... That's reasonable... But... For real. like... no needs to be at this level..."
" Why? Ain't we 'Friends'?"
Jody grin. Which made the boy uncomfortable.
"...."
" Aight, fine." Syd dragged Jody's luggage into the house.
" Lucky for you. The house still has an empty room up there. You used that."
" Ok."
Jody gazing her eyes around, observing the place with curiosity.
" Syd, not gonna lie. But your house is pretty clean. Do you do this by yourself? "
" Yeah."
" hmmm... Impressive."
" I'll begin teaching you the swapping technique after when we complete the first mission, understand?"
" You're afraid that I'll betray you?"
Jody turned to him,
“ Okay... That's understandable... If I were you, I'll do the same thing."
" Even you tell this to everyone they won't believe you. Why should I? "
" Is that a bluff? "
She questioned.
" Whatever you think.”
Replied the boy.
" sigh... Well... You're right. Even I won't believe either."
Jody walked to Syd's desk.
She saw documents on the laptop's screen. There's so much of the text written there.
As if he knew what she would ask, he spoke first.
" That are things you need to know."
" I see..."
" Now... I think we should begin. No fooling around."
".... Ok..."
Jody noticed that Syd brought out a box of strawberry milk she bought.
He poured it in a glass while talking to her.
" What I need you to do. Is that you...will be my assistant....or in case you feel like you're lower, you may call it partner. Simple and easy. I beat up people, you help me beat up people. I get my ass whooped, you help me not to get my ass whooped. You are in danger, I help you out. I'm in danger, you help me out. We help each other to achieve things. Easy, right?"
Jody nodded.
" Now this. Is where we will go tomorrow." Syd walked to his laptop and opened a picture of The Church.
" This is St. Paul's Cathedral... "
" Yes."
" International high school of London is a famous high school to a civilian like you. That's right, but this is just only a mask."
He pushed a key on the keyboard, showing Jody the next slide.
And it made her shocked.
Many files about corruption, crime, and drugs were shown in a picture with too many texts that they're more like thesis.
" Behind the outside world, This place is a real mess. Wanna read all of this?"
" Yes, please..."
These were not something like newspapers or fake news, but these were real files.
A file that contained information that Jody could tell that they weren't written by a civilian.
They were written by someone higher than that, No... Maybe the news media didn't even know this.
"...Syd...these are not some clickbait or fake news ...right....?? Where do you even get this from...?..."
" I'll tell you later."
He replied,
"Our first mission is to 'Steal' the 'disk' "
" The disk?... people are still using a disk?"
" Yes." Syd replied,
" And they're on this country."
" However, It is not a disk you buy on eBay, Jody. It's more than that. A 'Disk' which I referred to is different from your 'Disk'."
"How's that? "
" It's a special item. The source said that it's a shale of a disk. It's something we can't copy or replicate. The matter here is every goddamn thing is in a fog right now. The only clue we know is that there's this unidentified object. Being created by someone we don't know. He has built the 'Disk'... And he put a piece of secret information in it. Any information which we believed it's a threat. It can't be hacked. Can't be destroyed. So...we are going to steal it."
“ What did he put in? Like terrorism plan or something?”
“ Could be. I don't know. Someone who made it ain't with any governments. Do you think it's legal? ”
“ So it may be...drugs?”
" I've been informed that the disk we're going to steal contains a lot of information that could shut down this church if we give it to the international court."
" Wait... so why do they keep their illegal stuff in a disk? if they knew that it could be stolen?"
" To keep themselves safe when their business partners are trying to be tricky. You know? They had dirty connections. Mafias, corrupted government, or even a big organization all around the world. They don't trust each other. And I've been reported they are all searching for it. Now you know the importance? Now you understand why we need to get to it first before anyone else does?”
" So you are going to tell me that the disk is in the church?"
" No... The problem is we don't know where the disk is kept but we're sure that it has something to do with the owner of this church. There may be traces.”
“ I see...”
"We'll go there by 20:00 on the evening of tomorrow. We'll disguise as civilians and sneak in through the second floor.
We look for the church father. This man."
Sys showed a picture of a 50-year-old man. His hair was entirely white and he's very old.
" This is Peterson Morlay. He's the Church father. People often call him “Saint Peter”. We need to ask him and beat the shit out of him if he refused."
" Okay... "
" The operation starts 2 hours before that. At 18:00 we will leave the house and go there by underground."
“... Why not a bus? "
" We need to avoid meeting anyone we know. Travel on the streets has a better chance of being spotted than underground don't you think so?"
" Mmm... You're right..."
After finished the briefing, he sipped the glass of strawberry milk in satisfy.
" *sip*....ahhh .... God damn, Jody. This is some serious gourmet shit."
Syd staring at this pink liquid.
" But why the fuck is it Japanese brand?"
" I heard that Japan produced the most delicious milk... I hope it helps you grow."
".... Said by a person who has a bone problem. *Sippp*. And shorter than me."
“ How tall are you?”
Jody asked him gently.
“ Fuck. I forget how to calculate inches. Why you american cunts used inches? Fucking weak ass cunt.”
“ You can do SI ”
“ 180 ”
“ Wow. Imagine when you reached 22.”
“ You?”
“ 178 "
He realized Jody was only just 2 centimeters shorter than him.
“ Am I too short? Or you are too tall?”
He asked,
“ The fuck you eating, Jody? I thought I was gonna say this when we first met but why the fuck you so tall?”
Jody shrugged, she didn't know either.
“ Shit...”
Syd emptied the glass, “ I need a refill."
He said.
He turned back and fills up.
"The growth rate of male starts after the girls and end after the girls. I'm 18 this year and you are still 17. Usually, the growth rate of male stops at... If I remember correctly... around..18...? so you still have time."
Said Jody, smirking.
" *sigh* " Syd was shaking his head.
" Go and make your room, woman. And don't do anything like hanging whatever the fuck on the wall and ceilings and shit. Alright? Just keep 'em clean."
" Do I look like a person that will do that?" Asked Jody.
" Well... Since you're American... Yes."
" That doesn't make any sense at all."
" Fuck it. Just do what I say. Okay?"

The next day.
19:00
mission start.
Destination: Saint paul's Cathedral, London, England.
Jody and Syd were at the underground station.
Those 2 didn't wear a school uniform.
" You're shaking? " Syd asked Jody, noticing that her hands were shaking.
"...It couldn't be helped...If we got caught... We'd getting busted... I'm not afraid to hurt someone... But I'm afraid of getting caught. "
"well, It's your first time... my first time was also like this...but lesser. just sticking with me and it'll be fine."
" Let's go."
Jody and Syd enter underground as it arrived.
Without knowing, there's someone they didn't unexpected among the crowd who notice them.
" Wait a second... Aren't they... Jody and Syd? "
The girl took off sunglasses, revealing a face of Seraphina Gilmour.
" They're already this close? where are they going?"
Seeing Syd and Jody disappeared in the crowd of people. Sera decided to ignore them.
" Doesn't matter... I have my own business to attend to."
Suddenly, Sera's phone rang.
She picked up the call.
"...Yes.. Father Peter... Uh-hm... Understood I'm on my way."
She entered the underground, but different bogie.
.
.
.
.
.
The underground arrived at its destination.
As Jody noticed Syd was looking at his black phone all the time. But she said nothing.
" It'll take a shorter time for us to go this way "
She pointed out.
"... Really? "
" We can save about 5-10 minutes, I can say. It's faster because we will sneak in their backdoor, won't we? However, I think we may need to climb some fence in order to get in."
Jody suggested him an alternate way to access the church.
" I was right to have a local man on the team. You make a job easier."
Said Syd. He then handed Jody something.
It's a wireless headset.
Syd tapped his ear, telling Jody to put it on.
Jody understood and put it on.
" A person behind the call will tell us what to do."
" I see... Like in the movie..."
" yeah..."
.
.
.
Time has passed.
.
.
.
Looking at the watch, it's 19:30 now.
" Let's go."
Jody nodded. She followed Syd to the back of the church.
They took out the masks they'd prepared. Not just a face mask, but a mask that cover the entire head.
Jody tied her hair into a ponytail so that it can fit in a mask and she can move easier without q concern that her long hair will be attached to something.
Looking at them right now, it's hard to tell what sexes they are since they wore a thick jacket.
Before they moved in, Syd Barrett brought up his phone.
" What are you doing? " Asked Jody.
Syd didn't reply but tapped his finger on the screen.
Suddenly, Jody heard the sound of a small electric device.
" In the 10 meters range. I've blinded the security camera. No device can see us. So beware and stick up with me." He said.
He touched Jody's legs and the metal pipe he found. Swapping the properties of the metal and Jody's bone.
" Your bone has gained the endurance of steel."
Jody then nodded to him.
.
.
.
.
.
The second floor of the church.
They'd managed to get up here.
" *gasp* I thought I would fall down!"
Said Jody.
" Just your imagination. Although this place is like 300 years old, the building got a pretty strong structure."
" Why we need to be on the high ground?"
" Hiding behind the pillar seems to be a good idea. But it's risky. So waiting on the higher floor, observing from above is better."
" Look at that. They've come."
Jody glared her eyes down.
20:00 in the evening.
She saw a group of nuns and workers walking around minding their own business.
Nothing's wrong.
Syd gazed left and right, making sure nobody could spot them.
Back to people underneath.
One of the nuns went to close the church entrance.
They turned off most lights except in the middle hall.
The church was closed.
" That's the father." Syd pointed out.
Appearing a man in a back catholic clothes. He sure is a saint.
" That's saint Peterson Morlay. The current Cheif of the saints."
Said The person in the earphone.
" Keep following him," Syd said.
.
.
.
" Make sure no one comes in."
Saint peter ordered the workers.
He then turns to the black gate next to the middle hall with a countable group of the nuns and saints following him But some were left outside.
Syd and Jody moved their position closer to the black gate.
He jumped down the second floor, following by Jody. Then shifted themselves behind the pillar.
" You take the left. Shoot him in the head with your air bullet."
Syd then proceeded to walked silently behind the guard back he then harshly punches behind the guard's head with his bare hands.
A guard immediately collapsed.
While that, the guard on the left realized the sound of his co-worker collapsed, but it's too late.
**** Zip***
He was shot in the head by Jody's air bullet.
" Nice shot." Syd said.
" No wonder for a person who had killed 3 people since she was a kid."
Said Syd.
" It's called self-defense," Jody replied,
" I know. I've read the court's file." He said.

8 198Systematic Supremacy
A story of an individual with a cursed past and an unknown future. Follow the journey of Theo trying to find his purpose in a world full of cultivation, magic, and other mystical arts. What happens when someone without a will to live finally gains freedom along with an absurd amount of potential? Will he pursue strength in a world that values nothing but power, or will he decide to live a quiet and normal life for the first time? This is a story of a man with a system (yes, I know, very original), cursed with the faith of a protagonist. Whether he will follow the road of humiliating swarms of ignorant young masters asking for a beating, or carelessly pick up love interests from all corners of the world is yet to be seen. This story features many different realms and power systems, so if you enjoy novels with massive worlds and endless exploration, this is for you. Although it has a system, it is more of a manifestation of his own power and mysterious origin, not some gift from God.This is my first novel, and I am not a native English speaker, so the grammar won’t be perfect, but I hope you enjoy it nonetheless.
8 219Mobius
Far in the future, humans have thoroughly colonized space through the use of floating colonies and artificially replicating the Earth whenever possible. Most of these endeavors have gone well, with humanity spreading across the universe like the seeds of plants floating in the wind. Yet still there lurks the great mistake, the endless station of Mobius, a megastructure which hasn't ceased its building in over a century. Dante, a man living in this megastructure, is tasked with the recording of stories told by criminals, particularly those who travel between strata. One day, a prisoner is captured claiming to be Captain Pluto, an infamous criminal thought to be fictitious by most scholars. Even more curious, he claims to hail all the way from Stratum 56, a location so far away from Dante's Stratum 999 that it would take lifetimes to traverse such a distance. Dante must discern whether or not the story is false or true, and the longer he lets Captain Pluto speak, the more difficult his task becomes. *****Average chapter length will be 10k words give or take. This isn't a very serious story for me. I'm writing this to blow off steam. Updates will happen infrequently because of this, and it will most likely be unpolished unless I begin to take it more seriously.
