- Ashdown Forest, Sussex, 2020 -

Jon sat down near a rock and began reading the novel. However, one name made him stop right away. The sight of this name made Jon question the world around him.

– Allain, why is a man with Doc's last name in here? Is there a particular reason as to why you told me to bring the book?

– Oh dear... Is this your first time reading Dracula? Well, long story short, it happened. Not really like that, but it happened.

– And is Dracula the same guy that other sources put him as? You know, Vlad the Impaler?

– No. And it's all I have time to explain for now. Look. – Allain points to a car getting closer to their position. It's a simple vehicle, with no particular feature. It's stops as close as it can get to them, and a man walks towards them the remaining steps.

This man is dressed quite formally when compared to the hunters. A formal tuxedo attire from shoulders to feet. A red tie striking out noticeably. Short curly black hair, black glasses somewhat covering his brown eyes, and a short beard, as black as his hair.

– Allain. – The man seems to say this as a form to acknowledge who's in front of him. He then looks at Jon. – I did not expect anyone else, but it is a welcomed presence anyway. William Enfield, pleased to meet you.

– Jonathan Harper, ditto. – Jon had never faced such formality, so he was unsure as to what he should say. As if compelled by the novel he was reading, he felt he needed to add something. - Harper, with a P. Not to be confused with Harker. I don't want you to think I'm some late generation vampire hun...

Allain cuts him off with a look. Then he addresses William. – So, how's the Round Table? Is your dad giving you a hard time?

– Not really. My father has recently resigned and made me the Merlin. It is quite boring to attend dumb meetings, instead of being in the field, helping people. But we digress. Shall we go? - William motioned towards the car.

– Very well. Oh, and before we proceed... SHOTGUN! – Allain couldn't help it but burst out laughing. William joined him, with Jon starting to get a little uncomfortable.

- Round Table HQ, London, a few moments later -

Everyone left the car, and William called out a security officer to park the car properly. They continued to walk towards the park's exit and to the building's entrance. Two officers stood guard and saluted the passing men, who simply kept walking.

The giant hall they were greeted with was decorated with statues, paintings, and books, reminding Jon of Wolfheim's own "official" entrance. As the trio approached a suspicious looking door, William warned them:

– Not to be *that guy*, but these blokes are very serious. Whatever they say, just be straightforward, and don't ask too many questions.

– Hey, Will. – said Allain - I know the drill, and I'll try my best to keep Jon quiet. Now let's hurry, it's not nice to let the elderly waiting for too long.
