For coutless millennia, humanity has hunted down monsters. Some did it because monsters were different. Others did it because of their own faith in a god or gods, compelling them to cleanse the world of these heathen creatures.

We at Wolfheim do it because it's our duty. To save the souls lost to these monsters. To allow the tortured humans inside these monsters to die in peace.

Wolfheim was founded in the 1880's. We began as a small monster hunting task force based in Germany. So, you should read our name as "Volfheim". After World War II, we "moved" to Canada. Well, we didn't want to be associated with those damned Nazis.

Our little group became bigger, famous scientists helped us expand our understanding of these monsters, our technology improved by reverse-engineering magic!

Nowadays, we don't call the monsters "monsters" anymore. We call them "Anomalies". Well, most of them began as human and it doesn't feel right calling them monsters. Because being a monster implies you've lost your humanity. And many of these "Anomalies" can still be saved.

But we are not the only ones still doing this in the 21st century. Many other groups also continue to hunt "Anomalies" and insist in calling them monsters. At any moment, Wolfheim could be attacked by these other groups, because we decided to fight fire with fire...
