《Why Just Not, Like, Kill All the Zombies?》Epilogue:

I was finally close to graduate from high school, after been held back a year because of the past incidents.
I transferred in a strange period, groups were already formed, and after a year without interacting with anyone who wasn’t my twin sister (and few massacres as an extra detail), it was hard to make friends again… Well, actually, for the first time.
At least, covered from head to toe in hundreds of scars, being a little stronger than the other guys and... “son” of the newest senator, no one had enough balls to bully me.
Not physically at least.
All the rumors told about me were really painful. It was treated like I was some kind of highly dangerous criminal, and was a bit sad: I thought I was lonely before, but it wasn’t even comparable to the situation then.
Well… if it was only a hard time at school, it wouldn’t much different from my life before, and I could bear with it; heck, I had so much money then, my guardian helping me to withdraw money without raise suspicious, that I wouldn't even need to ever work.
“I’m home…” I said, entering the dining room still wearing my uniform and schoolbag; holding it tight so it wouldn’t hook in any of the swords of the medieval armors lined by the wall.
“Ah… Welcome?”, the woman in black, our guardian replied awkwardly. I was surprised when she really did as promised and took us out of the city; not that I had ever said it out loud, of course, this had been mine and Morgaine hope for a year, I thought that putting into words would make me less confidant somehow. But I was even more surprised when I first saw her wearing a lab coat that she was using then, with a badge printed with the name: Karine; and with normal spectacles. My impression of her when I was half dead wasn’t a mistake: she really looked tired all the time under the sunglasses.

Also, the Gothic mansion over a hill encircled by a tall wall and thousands of zombies we were living in was quite impressive.
Approaching the table, and about to start to eat, I looked up. And to Morgaine. I waited for a reply, but there was none.
This… was for the best.
We hadn’t talked too much since we succeeded in run away from the reinforcement of the Happy Shrimp faction that came after us and started to make rain bullets over us after my fight with the captain.
When we reached our new home, Morgaine explained to me that the survivors that were captured inside the port didn’t believe that their friends weren’t getting “forever dreamy vacation” when they fainted out of exhaustion even when Morgaine showed them the zombies with the faces of the people that were thrown off the walls, and refused to come with us, and narrated how she dragged me all the way to the secret passage she had dug to outside the city, where the newest senator was awaiting her.
But we didn’t exchange a single word after this.
It was okay, though.
We both knew that our relationship was strange and impossible.
This was a rejection.
“…Fuck”, I said, getting up and seating on my bed. “Who am I trying to fool?!”, I closed my hands into fists. I wanted at least a clear answer. If we couldn’t be a couple, at least let this clear and go back to normal sibling-hood.
I got off the bed and walked to the door, ready to go to Morgaine’s room, but the door opened before I could reach its handle.
My twin sister came in, face red, and unable to look me in the eyes. She closed the door and just stood there, staring her own feet and holding her skirt hem for the longest moment. I came close enough to press her against the wood of the entrance and laid a hand on the door by the side of her said.
Morgaine closed her eyes tight and lifted her face to me, almost childishly offering her lips.
My free hand went to the key at the door and I locked the room.

The Beta Test
Our nameless narrator participates in a beta test for an early VRMMO game Meridian 60. That's not the real name but it captures the spirit of the adventure given the chronological and contextual era of the game. His character is unique and special but purely for mundane reasons and not because of any inherent or social significance. The first chapter which is mandatory to submit a story on RR serves as a bit of a prologue with some exposition, although I limited that to a reasonble level. I plan to begin releasing additional chapters starting Thursday, to align with the 48 hour submission approval process and also because I have something to do Wednesday. I haven't written anything but the summary and first chapter, nor have I plotted anything out. This is because my plan is to release roughly 34000 words a day, 10 chapters of ~12.5 pages each, for 3 days at which point the story will be complete. I'd have liked to plan for more but handling the interface tables and so forth needed for a data heavy litrpg slows down the writing process. 100k words is a bit short, a standard pre epic fantasy 300 page spec fic novel, but this is mostly a writing exercise and I am considering a longer project if I can maintain the pace. Probably do a different concept, maybe a dungeon core, over 5 days, since a 500 page novel is more common these days. Slight subversion of VRMMO stories Stat heavy/crunchy No paying your bills by gaming No out of game conspiracies No angst, interpersonal drama, or damsels/dudes in distress Schedule is 30000 words a day excepting the first chapter, a limitation of RRs fiction submission system Fantasy, high magic, male lead, no party, guild, or harem No gore, some profanity, no sexual content, and no current plans for anything traumatic

One in a Billion
My name is Xelean, since I can remember I always saw strange shapes floating in my field of vision. When I asked my parents about it, they looked at me concerned, perhaps thinking that I had a vision problem. Seeing his reaction I quickly said that it was all a joke. However, when I learned to read, I understood a little better what those images with letters were thanks to the following message:'Congratulations soul of the multiversal soul flow!!! You are the soul number 1 Billion that will be born in the world to which you were destined, in consideration and because the current situation of the world, certain benefits will be granted:[User interface][Inspection][Accelerated balanced growth] Sincerely, The Hive.' ---------------------------------------------------- Author Note/Warning:English is not my first language. One of the reasons why I started writing this is to improve my writing skills, so if you see any errors, please leave a comment. In this work there may be similar things/references to different novels (from webnovel and outside of it), role-playing campaigns, movies, anime and manga; since they shaped the idea that I have of the stories and I think that, in part, many of the ideas that I have in mind are consciously or unconsciously inspired by them. New Escape
In a world not that unlike the present exists a fantastic technology to transfer one's consciousness into a game. A new frontier for video games has been opened, and my first experience in this world is an rpg. An escape from monotony and school has led me to experience a brand new world.(I originally lost my motivation for this story and kinda wanted to kill it, but I brought it into this world so I will fix it. I'll probably re-write the first chapters and include a more compelling story. Didn't really write the story for people to read in the first place and after I put it on here I stopped caring, but I am changed!(not too much but just a little))
