Looking through the books of various mansions, I materialized the mansion that I thought looked the coolest. Using furniture books, I was able to materialize the incredible luxurious furniture for my new home. I had bat servants to do the housekeeping for me. My new home is situated in the center of the ruined city of MisBay.

There were now 10,000 bats living in the ruined city of MisBay. They managed to create homes made out of cement thanks to their intelligence and empowerment. Also, it’s because I was helping many of the bats with their new problems by giving them human knowledge from the picture books. Kyro went from the leader of the bats to the mayor of the bats. Kyro has been super helpful to me in managing the bat society. The children bats were now being taught in bat schools. They were learning things that I never learned about since my parents only taught me religious stuff. At this rate, they are going to become smarter than me. It only motivated me to read more picture books and a few low-level textbooks for middle schoolers.

I asked Kyro what she wanted in life but all she wants is the success of her bats. She didn’t have any selfish requests for herself. The bats had no enemies and were freely able to develop their society. I watched over them as they made progress and I materialized resources for them. It was fun watching them stumble and learn. The bats themselves are specializing in different areas like craftsmen, scholars, miners, and builders.

New bat architectures and cultures were being created with me in the center of it all. A group of bats sculptors created a giant statue of me made out of marble that I granted them. Some of the scholarly bats were able to help me understand certain things properly like basic physics, biology, and chemistry. Although I felt embarrassed about not knowing about these things and only knowing how to play ps5, these bats do not belittle me for not-knowing. All the bats serve me and revere me as the greatest god to ever exist.

A new cultural thing that the bats do is greeting each other by tapping their wings together. They also do complex group flying dances together. Now they have flying dance competitions. Some chef bats specialize in making food using human kitchen knowledge. The food that they made for me was quite amazing and I can provide all of their raw resources. The bats also utilized farming and ranching techniques derived from humans to grow their own vegetables, fruits and raise livestock like chicken, pigs, and cows.

The craftsmanship bats created new bat-clothing made out of leather and cotton. Accessories were created like hairpins and necklaces for the bats to become stylish. Engineer bats were experiments of creating rudimentary machinery with the materials I provide them and working machinery examples. The bat scientists were conducting experiments done by humans before and learning about the process. The bat had a democracy to elect councilors to help run the city.

All of these changes happen so fast, and there were so many things to keep track of. The population is exploding and it is expected that we may even reach 50 million bats in 100 years before the city becomes too crowded and we would need to expand.

2000 unique bat homes built by them with the average bat family being about 5 members.

5 engineering bays

20 resource collection building ( I just materialize the resources for them and the courier bats help carry them off where it’s needed.)

There were so many things happening in this bat-society. They were able to progress fast due to me materializing highly technological tools, machinery, buildings for their needs. So much stuff is happening that I let Kyro and her group of councilors run the city for me. My job is just to help materialize needed resources for them.

The new year and it happened to be my birthday as well. I guess I would be 51 years old today and my body is still biologically a 16-year-old.

Kyro and the bats had planned a huge celebration for me and. They guided me to a master throne, where I sat and watched the 200 bat dancers do an exciting dance in the sky for me to watch. The bat chefs prepared an incredibly grand feast with many new dishes for everyone to enjoy with me having first dibs on everything. The youngsters' bats born in my reign all drew crude pictures of me while at school. The bats in the military showcase to me their successful hunts of huge bisons corpses that they brought back. The engineers showed me their machinery built perfectly for bats to use rather than humans. The scientists showcased their discovery of gunpowder to create brilliant fireworks in the sky. I could have made the fireworks myself if I knew what it was but I guess they wanted to try doing something on their own without relying on me.

The bats were trying to become an independent society and rely on me as little as possible. It made me appreciate their wellbeings even more since I wasn’t too sure if I would keep on taking care of them forever.

The night of celebration was wonderful and to see my bats succeed brought a deeply satisfying feeling to me.

A tornado tried to destroy my bat society but I was able to dissipate it completely without letting a single scratch any of the bat buildings. My cheat list of skills and abilities is too freaking good, I can do anything!

A new young bat named Jacky by his parents asked me if I could grant him the power to transform into a human form. I was having such a fun time being the ruler of the bats that I never thought of making any humans or making them more human-like.

I decided to amuse him by making him a bat-humanoid-looking creature and he can still switch between the 2 forms easily.

Unfortunately ever since Jacky became a bat-humanoid, everyone else also wanted a humanoid form. Kyro, my loyal trusted right-hand bat, also pouted heavily when she learned I gave human form to another bat first and it wasn’t her. I gathered all of the bats in a huge public square area and granted all of them the humanoid forms and their future children as well. Everyone was so freaking happy and the day became another holiday. Jan 1 to celebrate my rulership and July 9 to celebrate the ascension to becoming a humanoid similar to me. They still retain their bat wings in their humanoid forms which made them look so freaking cool.

Kyro never had a husband before and she pretty much proposed to marry me. I always wondered why she didn’t even have a mate like the other female bats. She was incredibly popular with the male bats so it wasn’t like nobody wanted her.

I wasn’t too sure if I wanted to marry a bat-humanoid even if she was quite pretty so I told her I still want more time to think about it. She understood and told me she will keep herself pure until the day I am ready even if I choose to never marry her. Honestly, I never thought about love too much and I have blocked girls off my mind for such a long time. It reminded me of my former idiot friends who were chasing girls that don’t exist. Huh, I wondered if I should bring back my friends. Knowing them, they would probably have no problems marrying some pretty bat-humanoid like the idiots they are.

I decided not to revive them because they didn’t choose the ps5 life with me. They should have survived on their own when they left me all alone. And now they can’t see me make an incredibly new bat-society.

It seems like all the bats never used their pure bat-form anymore. All the bats stayed in their bat-humanoid forms and used their wings to fly from place to place. Kyro and her bat councilors had an incredibly cool-looking government building. At the mayor Kyro’s desk, she has pictures of me and her everywhere in the office. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention but I happened to stumble upon cameras and smartphones and created them for everyone. All the bat-humanoids wanted to take pictures with me when I was out in public walking around. Honestly, it’s super fun having my bat people respect me this much.

Many of the young female bats also joined my newly created fanclub of mine. They like to act very smug to everyone else and that I was the perfect handsome man. Honestly, my ego is getting boosted to high heaven with so much praise from everyone.

Bat society now has reached 20,000 bats living. Society is progressing rapidly with my help. Self-sufficient is also going up. The city of MisBay, home of the bat-people is developing beautifully.

Kyro gets super pouty and jealous when she sees other young female bat girls trying to swoon me over. It makes her very uncooperative with me to help rule the city unless I give her some dates. So I did, we went to some bat cafe and enjoyed a delicious ice cream sundae together. Then we also watched some bat-dancing performances and played some 1 on 1 table tennis. She was freaking good at it and I would have lost if I didn’t use my cheat skills. I did give her some wins by playing with no cheats and it made her very happy. When night fell, we laid down on the ground watching the beautiful night sky full of stars. A beautiful moment all possible because of me.

At first, I see Kyro as a useful puppet to control to help manage the bat population but now I’m not too sure anymore. This bat-girl sure did grow on me a lot but it always felt wrong to accept her feelings. It’s probably because it feels like I sort of forced her and her bat colony to serve me. Perhaps in the future, I may come to accept and understand her feelings but right now it doesn’t feel right.

This bat society… I wondered if I should just destroy everything. After all, I can just remake it any time I want. However, a nudging feeling in my heart was telling me that I would regret it because life is only precious the first time around. Was it really?
