Norton talked by receiving the phone's receiver, "What's the matter then?"

Lawyer noticed the change in how Colonel was talking.

He forgot to answer him.

"Just tell me for God's sake!" Colonel Norton's loud voice was now even audible through the glass.

The lawyer from the other side said, using the receiver, "Appeal seems to be working. Your past good works are convincing everyone in the parliament."

"How long will this keep happening…pending?"

"At least for a couple of weeks. I have even appealed in the court for the more extension of this trial but this is not working."

"What the shit are you saying?" he roared.

"I mean, this is not very convincing, as you know. You see, we have got no proofs. We don’t even know where to defend ourselves. This all happened because you hid some secrets thinking the minor one, but there are no such things as minor secrets. You should have known it better than me. Now these secrets are worth of your life."

"Do it somehow. Save me Lamb."

He spoke with a lot of disrespect, "I am doing my best to take you out. I fear I may get divorced while assisting you. I sometimes even think the killer is looking for me. "

"Oh, come on!" Norton banged his hand on the bulletproof glass, "Here I haven’t slept and you-"

"Sorry Mr. Norton. Only I can do is the keep the appeal pending and even you are not expecting for the acceptance of this appeal."

Lawyer was cent percent right. Norton was soon in dead silence.

Norton again pleaded, "Please save me." he sobbed, "I'm innocent. Someone- Bob conspired against me. He wants to show me as Bob."

But he had shown it.

"I think CIA is now in your support."

"Huh!"

"I have heard they are going to gather some proofs to defend you."

"No! You must have heard wrong. They are the one who got me here. They gathered proofs against me and trust me, they have got great logics against me which I don’t even know-"

"So why Detective Nathan Camshron is here?"

"Investigation about Bob. I am doing somewhat well here because no one has enquired about Bob with me."

"Do you think you would get so many privileges if CIA was against you?"

"It's nothing but my luck. It would be nice if Nathan catches the killer behind these."

"How can he?"

"What do you mean?" Norton snapped.

"He is in a cell of here. He's locked. Arrested just after the trial. I have no clue why."

Norton felt earth move as the lawyer continued, "Right now no one is going under investigations. Something must be going wrong in CIA. I can't understand them. Why did they arrest Camshron? Only he can save you if he gets out, otherwise there is no other hope. Even if they try to get evidences to support you, there is going to be another loop hole made or left."

"Why is he arrested?"

"I think he has done an error in the investigation."

"Isn't it apparent?"

"I think its worst."

Norton got shocked. Was Camshron also in the mood of conspiring against him or he was involved in all these for real?

All the things going on were unbelievable. Camshron was perhaps the first detective in the world who got arrested along with the possible culprit.
