EMBASSY OF AFGHANISTAN,
Everyone was in their seats and was dwelling with various types of international paper works. Some were having paper works of consular issues and some were working on misjudged passport applications. Many of the people were busy in stamping on agreement papers.
Mr. Devon Morris was in his cabinet and he too was busy in own works. Mr. Morris was elected Ambassador there not a long time ago. He was a medium-sized, slightly reddish skinned man with little hair on his head. He wore oval spectacles because he was suffering from Myopia. Mr. Morris was in embassy since two years and was always busy in his work. He wore a black coat as usual and he had brownish eyes with a small nose as well as short ears.
Mr. Morris looked at long Chinese pen and put it in the small stand where its cap was present. He looked at a key on table just near to the pen. Of course, it was not of his, and he had a look at the drawer on which was a keyhole a bunch of keys hanging.
Mr. Morris neglected the key on table, locked the drawer and put it in his shirt's pocket where few ball pens and a notebook was already present.
The door gave a knock.
Mr. Morris looked at the door and said in a heavy natural voice, "Come in please."
Door's knob turned and with a click there came Mr. Ian Hadfield. He was the working assistant of the head embassy works. Now Hadfield was an active high profile tasks assistant whereas the last one was sleeping one. Hadfield was in his middle forties with curly hair, height of just about six feet and a wrinkled face with an inch long nose.
Mr. Hadfield spoke in a hurry, "Mr. Morris, Haq's corpse is going to be taken in Langley. Now."

Mr. Morris gave no actual reaction. He just spun towards his left five inches in the spinning chair and rose. He went to Hadfield and said, "Sure? Concrete information?"
Mr. Hadfield nodded and Mr. Morris heard him saying, "MPD has also got support from CIA for the investigation."
"So what? This might be rivalry."
Mr. Morris turned towards Mr. Hadfield and replied, "They all know Haq had worked here."
"Yes sir. He had leaked the information. I was against his recruitment in the first place."
"He was qualified." snapped Mr. Morris, "and for sure he was a trustable man."
"Sir, he worked here. We wanted to make it a secret, but a year ago Haq had leaked it and I have a big doubt."
"What doubt?"
"About investigation…There shall be investigation in here. No police cop has entered here till now for investigation."
Hadfield said in a low voice, "We may also fall in problem."
"None of us have done this." said Mr. Morris, "We did nothing which made such a damn thing happen."
"We have done nothing."
"Do you mean to say I should have fired him right after the bloody event?"
Hadfield's silence lead to conclusion for Mr. Morris.
Morris whispered, "What's the problem?"
"I have got to know neither CIA nor MPD has been lead to any clue. They are blood hounds. They can smell anything. They may also smell useless dirt, which is not under their territory."
"No, there won't be any misunderstanding. Even if they contact us or enquire us, then we are not supposed to be hiding anything from them."
"But sir, I think his habits were not normal. He was said to have odd opinions upon everything."

"He looked to be quiet, but he was not. He couldn't have done anything wrong except leaking the information."
"Sir," dared Mr. Hadfield, "It doesn’t look like he did it for fun."
"Leave it for the investigators. Just hide nothing if enquiry takes place here. I don’t want this embassy to be in more trouble than this. And remember-don’t try to add anything as well. Embassy can get rid of all this going on just in case you follow my words."
Mr. Hadfield nodded and said, "But Mr. Morris, Haq might have done something wrong. Did he misuse his post in past?" This time Mr. Morris turned at him like wind.
His face was watchable. It looked like he was getting more tensed as Hadfield spoke. If Haq had misused his post, then embassy had to give briefings about it in the court. Supreme Court.

Fragments from the Wildlands
“Your first death is always the hardest.” Miguela was the third-born child of a well-off merchant family and knew from around the time she could speak that her life’s path was already decided. She was to become an Orator, as was Xandran tradition. However, Miguela had an affinity with the magikal arts and somehow found herself studying at the Academy. She did just enough to keep up with her studies but never found the motivation to apply herself and “reach her potential,” as her instructors often said. It was not that Miguela was uninterested in the arts. Rather, she knew her time at the Academy ultimately did not matter. Whenever Miguela returned home, she would become an Orator, and that would be that. Or so she believed until, one day, an opportunity appeared that would change her life. Miguela was offered the chance to join a research team tasked with a mission of the utmost importance to the future of the Five Kingdoms. She could not turn down the prospect of regaining control of her life and finally finding a purpose for herself. Of course, Miguela might soon discover that offers that appear too good to be true are usually fraught with lies. Welcome to Five Kingdoms of Cordizal! Question: What is the Five Kingdoms of Cordizal? I often get asked this type of question about my stories by friends, bloggers, and potential readers. The Five Kingdoms of Cordizal is a high-fantasy epic universe that is the setting for most of my stories. The foundation of the universe is its multicultural, multiracial setting with several sentient races attempting to carve their legacy and survive. The world is fully fleshed out and vibrant with a rich and mysterious history not based on Tolkien mythology. This brings me to magic. To me, magic is an essential part of the fantasy genre, so, of course, there is magic in the Five Kingdoms universe. However, one critical part of the Five Kingdoms universe is that magic is an abundant commodity that is a part of everyday life and not some plot device used to drive the story. In short, the Five Kingdoms universe is the setting of epic fantasy stories with deep characters and world-building. I try to tell as many different types of stories as possible in the universe, and hopefully, you can find something for you in it.
