Chapter 5 - A familiar face

I opened my eyes, I can still feel the pain in my upper body where the glass shards were.

I looked around 'wait a minute' Where the hell am I? this isn't my room nor is it somewhere I know. I looked to the left I can see the captain's sword positioned around the wall there standing.

Immediately, I stood up.

"AAAARGGGH" I screamed loudly, as I fall down on the floor.

FUCK! I can still feel the deep cut on my left leg, It's bleeding again I think.

As I thought about that, I saw the door blast open and a girl swiftly came in.

"Are you okay?" She asked as she offered her hand to me

Now that I look at her, I can see her face 'Its the fucking thief girl!!' I screamed internally.

"YOU! This is all you're fucking fault!" I shouted at her.

She retracted her arm and looked at me coldly.

"You're welcome, Idiot." She said as she left the room.

Fucking cunt, I should have never saved her in the first place, it would have saved me from all this pain and trouble.

But now that I think about it, she did save me from death and even treated my wounds. Ah crap, I shouldn't have shouted at her, that was rude of me.

I picked myself up and put myself on the bed, I just laid there for minutes daydreaming, and thinking about stuff. Its how I relieve stress and stay calm.

'Ggggrggrh' My stomach rumbled.

'Im hungry' I thought to myself.

5 minutes later

Finally having the courage to stand up again, I put my two hands on the bed and pushed my self up.

I can finally stand again, well my left leg still hurts like hell but at least I can stand now.

Well, now that that's done, I moved towards the door and grabbed the doorknob, leaving the room

Looks like this is the kitchen, It looks just like a fantasy kitchen with a firewood powered stove, A washbasin with water on it. The most beautiful thing about this scene is the beautiful standing up holding a knife, Chopping something on a wooden board.

"H-hey" I said as she looked at me. "Uh, I'm really sorry for shouting at you earlier, I'm Zacky by the way." Then I tried to do a wink but I ended up failing because i don't know how to close my left eye, Making me look like a stupid idiot. seriously, I think somethings wrong with my eyes.

"Ahahahah" She laughed as she said,"You know you're a fucking idiot right?"

"Or am I?" I said while smiling"What's your name?"

"Its Tracey, If you're from this town then I'm sure you've heard of me."

"Uh well, I did hear your name from the guard's captain, But other than that, I have never heard your name before."

She smiled when she heard that, Now I'm curious what did she actually do to get so famous in this town?

"I'm sorry for being rude, but if I may, can I ask why you're so famous in this town called Ruben? I asked while I looked at her with curious eyes.

She sighed, then she said

"Long story short, someone stole something very valuable from the Lord's treasury. And ever since then I've been framed for being the thief. Even though this was the only thing the thief and I had in common." As she said that she moved the hair that was blocking her ears."
