《Emperor Who Rules Over The Swords》Chapter 22— Guild

"So, how was the situation inside?" After studying the situation on floor 2 in the past few days due to some order from the higher-ups, the troubled ranked Major asked the woman wearing a business suit, in a rather disinterested tone.
In fact, he didn't really care about the situation on floor 2. If it wasn't for the order issued to them, he wouldn't have wasted time concentrating on the situation of the said floor.
After all, evil was still lurking around the whole continent. Since they were the sign of justice, they had to catch those deadly monsters instead of investing time in finding out the situation inside a single floor just for babysitting.
Although he knew that waiting was pointless, he couldn't do anything about it. The higher-ups are the ones who were giving them financial budgets, so no matter what, they could only wait for the return of that certain person.
"Still got complicated situations, Major."
"I see… Please do your best." Sighing his way out, the Major let out a short groan, before heading outside the room.
It's been few years since someone last entered floor 2. Not only it was known for its great danger, the government even prevent others from entering that floor, since the danger inside was a real threat.
Orcs with frightening strength and the overwhelmingly tough body were frightening enough, yet there was one more thing making it more frightening. The current Orc also had the same intelligence, as the modern human was. No, it was even possible that they're much clever. And since once one entered the certain floor, and defeated it, he won't be able to go back to that floor, and could only go forward. There was no way to defeat the floor unless a genius rose to the current history and managed to defeat it.

Frowning his brows a little, the Major took out a cigarette in his pocket, before putting it to his lips and lit it up.
Fuwaaah~~!
The smoke floated to the sky and blended with the image of the sun. Beautiful… Even though he had seen it so many times, he never grew tired of it.
"Just what the hell is the government thinking?"
It remained a mystery why the government was making them study the situation of floor 2, but for some reason, he felt unease. It was like, a danger to humanity soon will make its way out of floor 2, and would make its appearance. Well, if it's the government work, surely, everything's under control. But, the thought of a walking nuclear coming out, send him to shiver. Just what kind of monster was coming out of it, that the government seemed to be planning a huge thing.
It couldn't be a dungeon outbreak, right? Although there has not been one in history, he still couldn't help but wonder. There wasn't really any wrong at taking facts and theory of truths, so making up one wasn't even something to be marked off.
But still, what if, dungeon outbreak really does happen? Won't there be millions of innocents who could possibly die? Well, in the end, no matter how he thought of a theory, in the end, it's just a theory. For now, they had to find out the truth.
"Major!" As he was in his deep train of thoughts, one of his colleagues suddenly called him out.
Somehow, he suddenly felt irritated.
"What is it!?"
"There seemed to be a problem…."
Problem? What does she mean by that?
As he was pondering whether he should listen to his colleague, his colleague suddenly showed his back, before walking forward; "Please follow me immediately."

"Alright." The major didn't argue any further and followed his colleague parting back.

The gate was in disarray. There were country officers circled all over the place, and they're even reporters trying to butt in, to give Cayle an interview.
Cayle recalled a memory from a few days ago. From what he could remember, he picked a fight with a knight of the town before. Could it be, that it got to do with this? If not, what else it would be. After all, there were even reporters from the side, not only that, there were even country officers with wands in their hands, as if ready to shoot their magic immediately once they sense a resistance.
Before he could even speak, a man suddenly butted in, and broke through the crowd, soon appeared the man in front of him, then proceed to shove out a card with his name embedded onto it.
"My name's Lou Ken, I would like to interrogate you for a second."
Interrogate? Interrogate who? Dumbfounded, Cayle froze on his position, as soon country officers arrived in his side, and dragged him with them, carrying him with cuffs in his hands.
***
"Name, the birth of date, and where you were born, please tell us everything there is to be known about your existence."
Inside an interrogation room, Cayle was sitting at a table, opposite of Lou Ken.
"Uummmm…" After thinking about it for so long, he couldn't think up of an answer. After all, it's only been a while since he first found himself in this world, so he barely knows any town in this world. Even if he wanted to, he couldn't answer his question.
Houh~ Lou Ken revealed a smirk, as soon he saw his expression. From his expression alone, Lou Ken could guess that he was trying to find a way out.
Didn't plan on admitting anything, huh? However, he finds the youth interesting, from every angle. If he came out of floor 2, it only meant one thing. That is, he defeated the dungeon boss inside nor found the special door that appears every 500 doors, inside the dungeon.
Well, even though he brought him to the interrogation room, in truth, he didn't really have anything to ask. He wasn't really that interested in his name, all he wanted to know was how did he make it out. Since the government officials didn't show their ar*ses, that just meant, they were only scouting the youth, and really got nothing interesting going on.
