HOZ 19218 Date : CG Year 2021 November 12

Light came shining through the windows inside the room. A 14 year old young boy who had a very handsome face with slight brown shade skin, chartreuse colored hair and eyes with chartreuse colored pupils happened to wake up because of the light. He yawned while stretching his hands and rubbing his eyes. He looked around and sighed. He then said,

"Yet another annoying day... when will this school end?! It's such a drag... Luckily, today is the military training day. So, today is slightly exciting." Eason grinned. He then wiped out that grin from his face.

He got up from his bed and then soon got out from his room. He walked to the front of his bathroom reluctantly, stood there for like half a minute and... finally opened the door. He took his toothbrush and put some tooth paste on it and brushed his teeth. He ignored the tongue scraper since it's such a drag. He took a bath in a rushed manner. He then went into his living room which seemed so empty and sighed.

'It's been already 1 year since big sister came to home. She's been busy working in Gremory headquarters.'

"I really miss mom and dad."

He and his sister were orphans. His parents died around when he was 7 years old . They died working for Higher Race that controls HOZ 19218. Both were Awakened humans just like his sister. Awakened humans refers to humans who could use Avasci, a 'supernatural element' that's unique to each awakened human unless humans who use the same avasci were carbon copies. They ascended themselves to a level that earned them the right to work together with Bararaq Union, the Higher Race Organization that controls HOZ 19218 .

Eason believes their death was un-justified. But what can he do? That's right, he was powerless to do anything, that's just what the fate is to us that are either humans or sub-humans. From his perspective, sub-humans all belong to the same species. True, there are some sub-human races that are like nemesis races to other sub-human races but this can be re-negotiated. Higher Race are literally god-like entities. Eason was pretty sure they can solve this matter. He wouldn't be surprised if they are the ones who made them like this. His sister doesn't tell him anything of the Avascian World. She said she will tell him once he becomes an avascian.

He then put on his uniform to go to school. He really wished he could awaken and get to the center of truth, of course it will very be dangerous like a lamb going into a tiger's den but he would still go for it. He then took the keys and went out. He then saw the light.

"I heard in some places far away in space there's natural yellowish light that comes from a bright star that shines on the entire region ."

Of course, as long as they were imprisoned here by Bararaq Union, Eason had no way of confirming this fact.

The light that's shining over HOZ 19218 comes from artificial light source that circulates the three dimensional planet HOZ 19218. That's right, it's something Higher Race invented. They're truly god-like entities. He was in a daze at such overwhelming power.

Soon, he snapped out of his thoughts and went over to a Exos Stop. Exos are public transportation carriages that are available in Gremory Land. He got on an Exos and the Exos started moving towards Byron Campus #3. He looked around in the Exos and saw people sitting around and chatting. There were students going to their own respective schools, employees going to their own work and household wives going off to shopping etc. It takes around 1 hour to reach the campus from his home. As time passed, there was only 30 minutes left to reach his destination. The Exos then stopped and he then saw one of his seniors walking into the Exos. His name was Gary. He looked like someone average in your normal society standard. His uniform was untidy here and there as if he's just coming from school. Gary then saw Eason and walked over to him. He greeted by smiling.

"Look who's here? How has it been going?"

They have seen each other several times in Exos, so they chatted quite often. Eason was not someone who rejects anyone who initiates a conversation with him unless he's someone Eason really don't like.

"I'm fine. But.... hehe I became a rank D fighter yesterday. Also, today is the first military day after my ranking up, so I'm pretty much excited, " Eason smiled brightly

Fighters are non-avasci users. Generally it's divided into F-S ranks. From Eason's perspective, F rank refers to failures or below average fighters. Then, E Rank refers to average fighters and D Rank refers to elite fighters. Being D Rank at the age of 14 is quite the talent. C rank refers to veterans. B Rank refers to fighters somewhere between veterans and hero-like fighters.

Of course, hero-like fighters refers to A rank fighters. As for S Rank fighters, they're literally monsters. In fact everyone believed that there was no such fighter so over-powered. But I then realized the truth as my Sister had told me some information about it.

Until A Rank, fighters gets their own racial talent enhanced. Though racial talent can't be activated always, he or she does have his/her passive instincts active according to what he/she personally understands about his/her surroundings through either his/her eyesight or other ways. Gremorian Racial talent activation refers to activating domains in which information or data collection is 100% efficient. The more the domain extends, the less efficient it gets in information collection. This efficiency increases as fighters grade up.

But this racial talent also helps in enhancing fighter's body through nerves. Nerves and instincts are inter-connected . Thus the body gets stronger the more efficiently we can awaken our racial talent. S-rank fighters literally are monsters who broke through their limits. My sister has only told me that there indeed exists such fighters but didn't say how many as that's military secret.

As for people who couldn't even become fighters? They help with various kinds of stuff requiring manual labour.

"No way!? You're truly very talented. So.... will you become an awakened just like your parents and your sister. If you do so, just don't forget me, you have my number. You can call me whenever you want my help, " He stretched his hands and waved them which meant he is always there for Eason .

"It has already been quite some time. According to normal standards, my awakening time must have already been over. Anyway, I don't know. But I really do want to be an awakened. But for now, I'll just keep my eyes on being a fighter. What about you senior? Did you rank up? You better do so, there's only one year remaining for you to be 18 right?"

That's right, Eason is currently 14 years 7 months old. After becoming 15 years old, awakening time should have already have already passed. Yet, people rarely awaken at his current age.

Gary went silent for few seconds but then went back to his normal self.

"Hahah! Not really... but I at least got to be a E Rank fighter by the time I became 18 or else I really deserve to be a failure. But let's forget about that. Regarding your awakening, as long as you don't reach 15, there's still a chance. By the way how is it going on with your woman?"

The ranks fighters can reach before the age of 18 usually determines the future growth of students . If someone can't reach E Rank before the age of 18 , that means he has a small chance of reaching E Rank later on .

This era is a fighting era. Despite Gremory race being a united race, it doesn't mean stronger people doesn't show disdain to those weaker than them. Or wait, was there ever an era with no fighting since Bararaq Union took control over us? Anyway, every family will have their children focus on strengthening themselves.

"Woman? Wait, you mean Elisha? No way, we're just fellow musical club fellows. That's it. I never thought about it beyond that."

Elisha was a friend of Eason who was very talented in composing music, they quickly became friends.

"You know that she's a beauty and from what I heard from her friends, only you have a chance of getting accepted in case you propose. You also got a good background with your sister behind you. I also know you're quite close with her parents. In that case, once you start dating her, there's a high chance of making it permanent."

"Whatever, I'm not interested in romance stuff. It's annoying after all."

Eason thought,

'I don't understood why everyone is so interested in romance when this is a fighting era or...is it because since fighting is a common thing ?! As long as Bararaq Union exists, this will probably never stop. At least that's what my intuition tells me so.'

Eason sighed and thought why his sister won't tell him anything about what's going on around the world and how the Bararaq Union operates.

"You really make me envious as she's quite close to you.... yet you're like this. Nevermind, forget that I talked about this. Oh yeah I heard there's another D rank in your same grade. You'll probably be sparing with him. Good luck."

"Yeah, I know."

The Exos soon stopped and after walking with Gary for 5 minutes, he finally came in front of his school.

He entered the school and saw pictures denoting history of HOZ 19218.

HOZ 19218 is comprised of various sub human races that were mutated. Higher Race organization Bararaq union controls quite a lot of HOZs just like HOZ 19218. Gremory Race is a sub-human race that's unique even among all other sub-human races. They're very similar to original human race. The only unique difference is that, every Gremorian has chartreuse colored hair and eyes with chartreuse colored pupils.

Each race have their own racial talent. For example, each member of gremory race has domain based instinct. As long as an enemy enters a gremorian's domain range, his/her every move will be known by the gremorian. Gremory Race is known for another unique characteristic . People of Gremory Race are very united unlike other races. Whether it has something to do with close resemblance with original humans is unknown but it's something very unique that has to do with Gremory Race.

He then said to Gary, "See you later, senior."

He then walked away from Gary while Gary did the same after nodding at Eason.

He then walked up to 3rd floor of a building and walked further into his classroom.

Today is Military Training day. Such a day occurs once a week. It's done to increase the military might of Gremory race.

As it's Eason's first Military training day after his ranking up, he was quite excited!
