Evan took a deep breath and then smiled. In the end, these things would not affect her that much at all.
One must know that there is something out of it. He took the meat part Jen gave him and started eating.
The meat was juicy and tasty. A taste that he never remembers at all.
He believes that even if he was not that much of a meat-eater.
This is the meat that he found tastier until now.
It is something that makes a difference.
The things that he had never seen, the things and foods that he had never tasted.
The women that he never takes as himself. Maybe these things are not that possible in the past world he lived in. But in this world, these things are not something that he needed to think about. If
If he improves his power, he will have the best scenery, tasty food, and best drinks as well as woman.
Not to mention many things. With these thoughts in his mind, he took another piece and finished his meat, and kept eating.
After the food part was over, Jen started talking.
“It is not my business, but what are you looking for inside of Light Woods.”
Evan looked at Jen and answered.
“It is better for you to now know what my purpose is, in the end, I don't know you that much, you can understand it.”
Jen nodded. In reality wizards, shamans, and titans, as well as fighters, would not ask about these things to other mages. All the mages are at the end too individualistic creatures that most of the time only care about themselves even more than ordinary humans.
In the end, there is one thing in common in all mages,
At least that is what Jen thought it was.

It is something simple. All mages have something in common, which is the power-seeking mindset.
If the target is power for a mage, then they can do anything, there is no evil or good in their mind.
If it is needed for the power, they will do it most of the time as long as they are not harmed in this process.
Even then asked.
“Tell me about another interesting creature other than Tunnel Birds.”
Jen thought a little and then answered.
“Torch Anomaly. Would be something to see, I have never seen it, but their existence is proven.”
Evan then asked.
“Tell me more about them.”
Jen took a deep breath and started talking.
“Torch Anomaly is some sort of creature in the form of your usual torch, a wooden torch, It has one eye-like organ, and it can fly. The documents about the creature say that they are pack creatures. They can shoot fire as you expected and consume the things they have hunted by burning them using their you know touch.”
Evan gulped after listening to their words of Jen.
It was interesting, they are consuming food by burning them with their fire as they are just magical torch, and they shoot fireballs to their enemies and targets.

Abandoned by his abusive father at the far reaches of the world, Daegan may not have the powers of his ancestors but he refuses to die in banishment. Will he make it back home in time to prevent a brewing war? ------------------- This is a gritty drama-driven, rambling tale that presents mysteries early on that the characters work to unravel throughout the story. It swings between action, drama, and sometimes some darker comedy. Warning: A whole lot of profanity, alcohol, drugs, implied violence, actual violence and mega-violence—the kind that involves knives sliding into eye sockets and brains spilling onto floors—the usual stuff, scenes of intimacy, mercenaries, pirates, lots of moral ambiguity, including a wizard that likes to make tea with the heat sucked from his victim's bodies and a heap of world-ending monsters ready to eat people. _______________ Expectations: Updates every Monday and Thursday. Chapters will be between 2,000 and 5,000 words. I'm Irish and write in "Irish English" which is to say that I don't use much of the letter "z"
