《Dragon's Misery》Eggs, execution & Estemarche

The crowd was screaming and throwing rubbish, stones, anything that could hit this dragon.
He was bound on three carts for head and neck, body and wings and the third one for tail. This monster would go around the same 30 meters.
Falkor was gone, it disgusted him.
I didn't want to see that show either. But I stayed on guard, just in case, with the guards and the hunters... The constable spoke like a town crier and listed all the names of the victims, human offences of the empire, and the draconian code offences were added to the public's amazement.
I was with Rogue(Snape) and dressed in the official cape of the academy. People asked why I was there and it was explained that I was part of the guard against other dragons. In fact, I was flying out to make rounds to keep an eye on the surroundings.
Then I saw a red pennant hanging from the end of a spear on the roof of a church:
"I see you've made your choice, child.
I want you to know that I will make you pay for her death. Where you go, I will go and sow tears and pain all around you. Enjoy your loved ones while they are still alive. It won't last much longer.
Your beloved daddy
Kisses."
I took the message back to Rogue. He said, "That's it, it's over! Now get out of here.
Did she say anything before the executioner executed her?
"No, she cried!"
She was executed quickly and cleanly because she regretted...
The eggs?
Yes, we'll take care of them. They'll go to the partial orphanage of the barracks.
They'll be raised together in class and in separate dormitories. They'll have to bond as human beings.
I flew away and joined Falkor quietly. I had a metallic aftertaste in my mouth. An urge to vomit.
I passed through the academy again and met Mandrake. We talked about Metanovae's eggs.
It's Vaillant who'll oversee them so they'll be as soft as Fuchur's.
I said goodbye, went back to the library to return the borrowed tomes and took some more tomes on regeneration and golems, the basis of magical automation. And also a volume on potions.

They were still happy that I returned in one piece what I had borrowed.
Then, just for fun' I joined the adventurers guild...I also made cards for my companions, forgetting that they were also dragons. Just to earn some money and exchange skins and monster remains.
It was madness.
After a few hours of traveling, I arrived at the Dwemer ruins and was warmly welcomed by my family. Auberone, Fuchur and Aqua. Falkor was dragging on the road. He needed to be alone. We decided to break camp and join the garrison further east, the last attack or attacks took place in Estemarche, near Vendeaume. The castellery changed and the dragon hunters there did not recognize Rogue as superior, because he served the empire. They could simply attack us. Only some members of the academy have joined them and could intercede on our behalf. They serve Ulfric Sombrage, a rebellious northerner.
He has absorbed the essence of dragons and is capable of blowing or pulverizing bones. This guy's no joke!
Onward to Mzulft, ancient Dwemer ruins

FLAP FLAP FLAP FLAP.
We arrived near an outpost of the empire, made up of Roman military tents and high-ranking officers received us as soon as we showed the soldier's medal. We came to hunt the dragon and lend a hand to the imperial garrison of Estemarche. We were neutral but only the empire recognized us as allies of the humans.
So we arrived at night and finally frightened soldiers approached and saw that we were not attacking and their superiors were warned.
Legate Rikke was the leader of the camp and lieutenant to General Tullius. She was to mount an assault on the Shadow Rebels within a few days, but every night a soldier disappeared without a trace. Nothing on the ground, and it must have been a flying beast at night. It was as if he was being sucked up by the shadows.
The morale of the troops was low. She had called in the dragon hunters, but they had no loyalty to the empire.

She had the full armor of the empire and the musculature to go with it. Despite her Herculean appearance, she had retained her charm and feminine lines. Her hair was chestnut brown and her beauty curled with high elves.

"Ah, are you the imperial dragons? It's the first time I've ever spoken to a dragon and I'm a magician and a soldier. Welcome to the camp.
The rules for soldiers also apply to you. There must have been five of you, right? "
"Falkor, just had his ex executed, and he's in a very bad mood. He will join us when he regains his strength. But if he doesn't, I'll have to go after him. Ignar, has promised to take revenge on us, and I fear a low blow from him. "
"But when you arrived, you didn't notice anything?" Lieutenant Rikke asked.
"Let's say, we saw nothing and felt nothing but oppression and a feeling of being watched, a very strong homicidal aura, and our arrival was disturbing, like disrupting a hunt."
" That's the impression that I and some of my senior subordinates and dragon hunters have had but no obvious signs of a dragon "
"Can they show us the place of the last attack?" asked Auberone.
"We're going to settle down in Mzulft in the ruins anyway," I said.
But Rikke insisted: "Stay here tonight, there's space near tents and some mead if you're thirsty. Don't drink it all. We can' t take care of a drunken dragon."
Fuchur lingered by the tents and loved soldiers. He was raised by Vaillant and loves swords and equipment. He loves these "toys" here. He was soon integrated with Rikke's men. Aqua watched over him and especially watched the dragon hunters watching his son.
Then she said, "I know I don't talk much, but I feel that Fuchur is in danger. He is the next target. My maternal instincts tell me so. And by the way, I want to talk to you about dragon to dragon."
I then isolated myself with Aqua
We can't thank you enough for these adventures and for getting us back in good graces, but I think I should go back to Sombreffe and take care of Falkor. He's devastated and I doubt if he's in any condition to go on missions. Besides, I wouldn't mind raising his offsprings at all. I'll adopt them. Fuchur's getting older and he's free to go wherever he wants now. I think he might follow you for a while and I don't see any objection to entrusting him to you. You're very kind and you can make him an adult. And I have no objection if you want to go further and be a couple. For my part, I love Falkor and I'm a little jealous that you're hanging around him and I'm sorry to tell you this, but to him, I see you as a rival. It doesn't change anything in our friendship but Falkor and I are the same age and we have desires too if you can understand. I also feel the nesting season coming on and I'd like to start a new life with him."
"But, Aqua, you're the only adult in our group. If we meet other dragons, how do we do it?"
"Follow your instincts. Surviving a Vampire is a feat in itself."
"And Falkor, what does he want from you? Have you asked him what he thinks? I love Falkor and I'm more mature than you and I can give him what you can't because you're too young. Tomorrow I'm going to find him and we're going home. My mind is made up."
"What about Auberone? Have you already talked to her about it?"
"Yes, she has known for some time but she didn't dare tell you."
"I'll warn Rikke myself," says Aqua.
I was all shocked to see our group fall apart like that.
Big tears fell from my face and I flew away, full of sadness and SPLAF I was caught in a huge spider web and before I could say a word, I was stung and fainted from the searing poison.

The Patchwork Realms
Athos is a good dog. He likes frisbee, bacon, and his family (SmolFriend, Mom, and Dad). He's not so keen on falling through an interdimensional portal to a fantasy world where floating boxes tell you that you've just been given status as the 'Supreme Exemplar' of your species, a powerful package of abilities that includes human-level intelligence. Sure, being smart is nice but less so when it comes with the need to survive in a land made from bits of different dimensions stitched together like patches in a quilt. A thousand species, a thousand lands, sorcery and super science rubbing elbows, wars and intrigue everywhere...it's exhausting for a good dog who just wants to go home! Note that this is a work in progress with lots of fiddly numbers so I will occasionally need to go back and fix errors, and this might affect events of earlier chapters. I'll try to keep this to a minimum and will post a note whenever it happens. [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]

Witch Hunt. A Warhammer Fiction
The adventures of Adebar von Bolstedt continue!Adebar von Bolstedt, fugitive noble scion of the Empire, stuck in the Great Forest of Talabecland, is gravely wounded by the bestial denizens of the dark wintery woods, only surviving due to the timely arrival of aid and relief in the form of the masters of this land. What begins as a pleasant stay with the wild noblemen of Talabecland soon becomes a matter of faith and tradition as old as the Empire itself, when he finds himself trying to root out a coven of witches from a society that prides itself on rural living and knowledge of the mysteries of the wild. This quest will either see von Bolstedt's shaken faith in his own god reforged into an intolerant blade, or shattered like ice. Word from the AuthorGreetings! Witch Hunt plays out in the much beloved Warhammer Fantasy setting (owned, of course, by Games Workshop). Do not fret, however, as I've made it a point to make the story digestible even to the uninitiated, and maybe even be a good introduction to the setting. This is the second part of the adventures of Adebar von Bolstedt, as such I recommend reading part one, titled "The Hand of Sigmar" first. While I cannot claim the places, concepts and gods etc. mentioned within as my own, the story and all characters flowed from my own fingers.
