《Lost in Acleirea》Chapter 13: A Drunken Night and A Hungover Talk

The preparations started by finding an inn close enough to the school for to sleep at for a month or so. After his attempts to flirt with the door woman, we found a room and helped him settle. Edward and I lay his stuff in his room and then he requests to celebrate, which I knew was coming.
“To the bar!” He says with excitement.
“Now is not the time to be drinking” I say coldly
“Nonsense, there’s always time to drink.” He retorts
We turn to Edward who is the deciding vote for this. He shrugs and says,” I have never drank before so I’m up for it.”
My shoulders sag,” You don’t understand, you’ll kill your liver with this one.”
Thu’ane is already dragging him out the door and I know it’s a lost cause. I follow and we go to the local tavern, we show our identifications to prove we are legal age, 16. In most places they don’t care about these, but in bigger cities they do. My id was forged long ago when I was found without one. We start small with a pint of local ale and then it escalates.
“Another round!” Thu’ane exclaims while slamming his mug down.
Edward is weary, but wants to keep going,” I’m in!”
I sigh,” I’ll pass on the beer, you got any whiskey?”
We do a cheers and then Thu’ane downs it while Edward tries to keep up. I sip my whiskey and watch as Edward starts to show signs of drunkenness.
“Another” He slurs.
This repeats for another three times and now Edward is full out wasted. I figure I might as well follow suit since it’ll be a hard month. I ask for more whiskey and drink it fast so I can keep up.

“Hey, there pretty kitty.” I hear Thu’ane say to a cat girl. He really likes banrir cats for some reason and will try to hit on them with all he’s got. Lucky for him a boyfriend shows up and I make my way over to stand next to him.
“Bar FIght!” I say barely controlling myself. Then I get hit with a chair and a full brawl happens. Thu’ane, Edward and I get kicked out.
“Damn, to the next one I guess.” Thu’ane says.
We try to make our way to the next bar, but stumble and barely reach it. We enter and start the rounds. After that I blacked out so I don’t remember what happened next. All I remember is waking up at the school with a massive headache. Thu’ane and I were sleeping next a stairway and were supporting each other, sleeping upright.
“Hey, Thu’ane wake up.” I say shaking him up.
“What? Who? Oh it’s you Kyle.” He says yawning. As usual he doesn’t get hung over. I stare at him and can’t help but think we are forgetting someone.
My eyes widen and I say,” Where’s Edward?!?!”
He sits up and looks around,” I have no idea, I just blacked out and can’t remember anything.”
I panic and run up to where his dorm is, I try to ignore the headache, but can’t and almost throw up. I keep going and make it to his room.” Please be in here.” I say to myself.
I open it and it reveals a mess of an after party, apparently Edward kept going even after Thu’ane and I left. I pull back the covers to wake up a sleeping Edward, but find two girls asleep and still no Edward. I wake them up and ask them,” Where’d the blond go?”

They look around confused and one responds with,” I don’t remember where he went, but I think he left a little while ago.”
I sigh,” You two should probably get out of here, if you’re found out he’s going to be in a lot of trouble for bringing girls into his room.”
I walk out defeated and the headache spikes and I fall to the ground, hopefully Thu’ane finds him. I sit there with my eyes closed and every sound makes me want to shove a pin through my eyes. Someone grabs my shoulder and I open my eyes. It’s Ryan.
“You’ve got a lot of explaining to do” He says.
“What, why?” I ask
“When you were drunk, you went on a rant about being from another world to Beth and I, we thought you were joking, but we asked Claire and she said you told her about that stuff when you were younger.” He says.
I groan, this is what I was afraid of. I can’t control myself when I’m drunk and I do stuff like this.” So? Do you believe me? Or do you think I’m full of shit?”
“If you were sober, no, but when you were drunk you talked so easily about it,and i figured that you weren’t lying.”
I was shocked, out of all the people who I thought to tell, Ryan was the last one I thought would believe me.” I can’t believe my ears, but can you get rid of this hangover? Then I will talk.”
He sighs and changes his right hand into its dragonic form, this is what they use instead of wands, and chants a healing spell. Surprisingly it works and I don’t really feel like I should ask why he knows a spell to heal hangovers.” Thanks, should we meet up with Beth?”
He nods and says,” She’s with Claire right now”
I follow him and he leads me to the two girls. They are in mid discussion and upon seeing me they both straighten up and turn to me.” I guess I’ve got some explaining to do.” I say rubbing the back of my head.
I explain my situation. I tell them about my life on earth, my meeting with Genie, and other things about earth. They listen and when I’m done I ask.” So do you believe me?”
Beth nods and says,” It’s way too much for you to make up.”
Sorry Beth, but I really care if Claire believes me now. She hasn’t for the longest time and I look at her. She’s looking down and says very softly,” I always did believe you.”
I smile,” Let me guess, both your parents told you I was lying?” I get a nod as a response and continue.” They can’t control what you think.”
She looks up and say,” I’m sorry for acting like I didn’t believe you, I’m also sorry for all the things I’ve done to you, Beth.”
“It’s alright, I forgive you.” She says with a smile. I feel like Claire and Edward’s bullying couldn’t be forgiven with one apology, but the way Beth said made my heart melt.
Ryan keeps going,” What about how you went back?”
Both Beth and Claire snap out of their happiness and stare at me.” Goddammit, did I really tell them I about that?” I think to myself.

Evo-Gaming
Evolution based StarCraft story with game-like elements. Everyone gets a good cheat-like system with well design UI and player-friendly system. I get this broken piece of shit Alpha version. Not to mention, that starting at the very bottom is not that fun. Oh well, let's hope things get better later. Warning - If you read this now, you will be essentially beta tester. The story will include biology, chemistry, but will not focus on it too hard. I aim to please both groups but inevitably will probably alienate both the people who dislike the subject and the ones who like it.

Captain Critiques: A Grumpy Pirate Review Book
(CURRENTLY OPEN)When it comes to reviews, I'm probably as harsh as the hellhole most story ideas crawl out of. I'm blunt, sarcasic, to the point and I know what I like in a story. As you can probably guess, you don't wanna take my advice if your like an overprotective mother about your story. Who am I kidding, EVERYONE is like that about their stories. But, if you could find the courage to pry the story out of your cold, crabby hands so I can give my brutally honest opinion then be my guest. Just don't try and start a fight once I provide it. You DON'T wanna fight a pirate. .................................. I reserve the right to decline stories as this will be taking up quite a bit of my time and if I say no, I mean NO. If your blurb is unreadable I will decline it. If it includes the genres mentioned in my 'Hell No' section then I will send it back where it came from.Do NOT critique the Captain.
