"Demon's body are limited by their Demonic Energy, every action a Demon's body host takes, it uses Demonic Energy. If they get hit or hurts, the solidified Demonic Energy won't get damaged but, it will take some of the Demonic Energy inside the body to keep the skin intact. To kill a Demon's body host is really hard, one would need to hit it until the Demonic Energy is depleted then, find the Demonic Heart that can be everywhere inside the body and destroy it. When enough Demonic Energy has been accumulated a Demon's body can create a new Demonic Heart. The more Demonic Hearts a Demon's body possesses the more Demonic Energy it can generate, the more Demonic Energy it can use while fighing. Demon's body hosts are chosen for their strenght, istincts and brutality. They usually fight alone and with enough time on their side they can become killing machines, solving the crysis that made Ego summon them with extreme violence and using their Demonic Energy destructive capabilities to obliterate anything that could pose a future danger."

"Ok, demons can be a little scary... They still need some loving tho."
The kingdom of Arthus was going through a dark period. The king was sick, even if the first prince was named crown prince, the king never officially made him the next king before the sickness brought him away from his court. The king, in his long life has given the kingdom five princes.
Every royal spawn had to study their entire life and be helpful to their kingdom, even if they do not ascend to kinghood they can still help their family by supporting the kingdom. The king sent his children outside the capital city to make experience so they could be better leaders and rulers.

The first son, the first prince, the crown prince was sent north. To the golden sea, the biggest wheat farm of the Arthus kingdom, it fed the whole population every year. There he worked with the farmers, he got his hands dirty. He had to learn that the Arthus kingdom was so happy and carefree because of the people, the normal people, the people that the capital would never see. Those people worked hard to give everyone food, they had to be appreciated for it, a future king should know that and never forget that.
The first daughter, the second princess, was a good scholar and an even better merchant, she was sent south. To the only side of the Arthus kingdom that was touched by the sea, she improved the trade routes and her shrewd pacts with the sea merchants filled the coffins of the Arthus kingdom.
The second daughter, the third princess, was a good tactician and a military woman, she joined her cousin, the daughter of the now dead brother of the king. Her cousin was the commander of Arthus' kingdom armies. They were stationed in the west of the Arthus kingom, in the hellfire desert, a place where your life was in danger just by being near there. High temperatures, the sand was sharp, when the wind scoured the desert the sand could cut the flesh from the bones. It was the perfect place to train the elites that needed to protect the kingdom, the extreme training would destroy them, melt them so they could be reforged as the shield and sword of Arthus.
The second son, the fourth prince... was a good for nothing, he spent his time making connections with wealthy nobles and merchants. He spent more time in debauchery than what he could have spent learning and being a better member of the royal family. His father, the king had to send him east, to the other side of the hardwood forest, to the coldstone mines. The king sent with him some of his most trusted advisors so that his wayward son could grow and become what he should have been, a paragon of virtue, the inspiration to any subject in the Arthus kingom. The perilous road would help to keep the bad influences away too.

The third daughter, the fifth princess, was too young, she stayed in the capital with her mother and father. She is a bright and curious child, making use of any change to flee from the royal palace and explore every nook and cranny of the capital city.
The king health was getting worse day by day so, the fourth prince decided to rally his men and march towards the capital city, he did poorly while in the east, the cold stone mines production fell, the miners condiction were worse than ever. Dropper attacks were more frequent than usual and there were some misterious disappearances. He did steal some money from the settlements budgets to found a mercenary army and, he did spend some money in women, alcohol and some of those spicy herbs and fancy mushrooms. If the fourth prince wanted to matter inside the Arthus kingom he had to be king so, he penetrated the hardwood forest with an army of brutes and things started to go wrong. Their supplies were dwindling faster every day, they started almost a thousand men strong, when they got in sight of the hardwood's village they were only seven hundred and fifty men, people were deserting left and right, the wolves howls were following the army, the fourth prince hoped the wolves would eat all those traitors and leave not even bones behind. When they came in sight of the village's walls the fourth prince sent a messenger to order the doors open, they would need all the food for the travel, the strong men could bolsters his lines, the women could serve his army... Maybe the men would not desert with some companionship during the night.
The messenger came inside the village, he came out after an hour, he was fuming, when he joined the fourth prince, in the shade fo the trees to inform him of the village's answer a single piece of wood left from inside the village walls, it arched in the air and fell over five hundred meters away, right through the poor messenger chest and the simple hardwood spear planted itself inside the earth, just in between the feet of the fourth prince.
Apparently the hardwood village was full of traitors, if they wanted to betray the Arthus kingdom... It was the prince's duty to show them how the kingdom treated rebels.

The Ancient Core: A Progression Fantasy
The title of [The Ancient One] is bestowed upon an unassuming, forgotten Core. Hidden deep underground, it lies in wait, biding its time as it learns the rules of its surroundings. Roaming beasts and unknown threats surely threaten the little rock as it sticks to the darkness, its one true refuge. This is a slow-burning Dungeon-Core fiction with a LitRPG-System. You can expect an extreme amount of kingdom-building, an more in-depth Mana-System, and a Evolution-System. Chapters are between the length of 2-4k words, though the first 50 will likely be closer to 4k. Anything after will have the average be 2.5k. I personally like explaining how things work a lot, so do have that in mind if you decide to read this fiction.
