"Once in a while the Planes or Worlds will be put in grave peril, a danger so grave only the direct intervenction of Life or Death could salve them. It's not even an IF but a WHEN, as time goes by Planes and Worlds will be put in a situation they cannot escape, this applied even with the implementations of Ego and the Gods. This was not good enough for Life and Death, if they spent their time saving their creation, they would not have any time to create more.

So they created the ultimate panic button for Ego to press, Ego could summon the help of two ultimate problem solvers. The Demon's body and the Angel's mind. "

-Bee May, the faery of knowledge

"The big red button."

"I'm going after him."

Said Sidon as he got up from the wall.

"No, you are not."

Said Brielle with a icy tone.

"He's my son!"

Exclaimed the First Hunter.

"Exactly! You know him, he will be fine, the village will not! You are needed here! Not out there!"

Said the scouts leader, she was getting tempestuous.

"There are no droppers sounds, only wolves, it won't be that bad, they cannot jump the walls. The village will be safe, my son and Annabelle will not out there, they need my help."

Sidon answered, even if he was really worried his experience helped him calm down a little.

"No... If you take your time to hear the howls. You will notice they are searching for something, they are calling each others from different points of the forest. And... there is a single different howl, I've heard it once before, fifteen snows ago. A pained howl, it did not seem a sound a wolf could do, then I heard a whining and a flash of light and heat came our way. I think you know what I'm talking about."

Said Brielle, Sidon's calm helped her steel herself.

"You mean there is another of those thing? Why now, is it using the wolves to search for my son?"

Asked Sidon, now he was getting worried again.

"Your son is resorceful, you taught him. That wolf thing we found that day? I don't think the village walls will stop it. And if they are still searching we know that they have not found him. They are probably hiding somewhere safe and will wait for the night to come home. You know what your son could do when he lets himself go, the wolves won't catch them."

Brielle tried to put a hand on Sidon's shoulder but he is too tall for her so she just patted his arm.

"You are telling me to wait?"

Said Sidon incredulous.

"I don't know how you found out but, I know you heard this village name. So you know what this village means and why it needs to stand even if we need to sacrifice all of our lives. I'm telling you we need you, you are the First Hunter, you took that responsability."

Brielle's face was emotionless, her words icy, even Sidon was surprised of the change, as if there was another person near him and not the woman he knew for over thirty snows.

"I tell you, we'll wait next morning, if those two aren't back yet I'll follow you outside, I'll track them for you. Now we wait and prepare."

Finished Brielle with a bright smile, as if what happened a second before was an illusion.

"I will keep the First Hunter's spear with me all the time, if I hear a single strange howl, I'm in the forest faster than you can call my name."

Promised the worried father.

"Good enough for me."

Said the head scout.

The last night, inside the forest, in a pond with clear water Annabelle was washing herself. She was thinking about what they had done, they fled the village, they got the herbs they needed. Now they just needed to clean themselves up and go back, no one would notice a thing.

She was proud of herself, she made a plan to get Little Wolf outside the village to play around and she could help her village elders with the concotion ingredients they gathered.

And Little Wolf is not so little anymore uh? Annabelle blushed at the thought, his growth surprised her for a little, and his speed for a little more...

But she was reminded of the good times when she was little. Her curse would try to hurt her often so, Little Wolf started guarding her like Fianna did with her mother. He always carried her in his arms because, if she was on the ground the curse had more chances to act or so he said. No, it was not the same, as a caretaker, privacy was just a dream most of the time and, she was under Stria's care. As a healer she would see naked bodies when they needed to heal particulary bad wounds.

She knew what a man and a woman could do togheter, Little Wolf was a pure child, driven and focused.

Annabelle did not think, could not think of Little Wolf as a man before, sure he was reliable but, he was a child, right?

After she saw him free his wild side, the simple carrying around and protecting her was bringing strange thoughts to her head.

Annabelle was so distracted she did not hear the water move around her, she came back to her senses when she felt the lithe but strong arms of Little Wolf around her.

As her daydreaming and reality overlapped Annabelle was stunned.

"N-n-n-not yet Little Wolf, I'm not ready yet."

She whispered while blushing.

The only response she got was feeling Little Wolf breath on her skin and a soft purring.

"NO!"

Annabelle screamed and tried to push him off but, he was a lot stronger than her, his red eyes shone in the dark, it seemed like he was toying with her.

"LET ME GO, NOW!"

She screamed again and pushed harder.

"Awe, Awe, Awe, this is not how you treat a lady, you might need a little lesson." -???-

Annabelle saw the pool shine a blue light and heard a voice, then the water rose and enveloped Little Wolf inside a coocon. He was kept floating inside a water sphere a little far away from Annabelle.

"Don't worry girl, I would never hurt Awe. He's just a little lost, when he comes back to his senses I will let him go." -???-

Annabelle was shocked by what was happening around her.

"Who is talking? Show yourself!"

She asked.

"Why child? You are watching me already, no one can come here without my permission, you will be safe with me."-???-

"Safe from who? Little Wolf would never hurt me!"

Said Annabelle confused.

"Eh, Awe might not want to hurt you, but there are many ways to hurt someone... and I was talking about the ones that followed your traces here. When Awe calms down they should have left too, sit tight and take a nap."-???-

"What? No."

Said Annabelle but, the shooting sound of water rocked her to unconsciousness.
