"We faeries call the basic Elemental Spirit, Neutral Elemental Spirit because it has no particular element that distinguishes it. The Elemental Spirits just float around EVERYWHERE, when an Elemental Spirit finds something it likes or its curious about, it changes its element and join the other Elemental Sprits already present."
-Bee May, the faery of knowledge
"The how a mountain can grow or get smaller if enought time passes"
During the last four snows the village had some visible changes. A couple more young men completed the hunter training and became full fledged hunters. Even after the scout training a thirteen snows kid would need at least three to five more snows to become a full fledged hunter. The hunters didn't need only strenght, they needed stamina too or even if they could use the heavy spears and shoot the heavy bows. They would become tired fast and be useless or even worse be a burden to their companions.
Obviously there were exceptions, like Kitty who became a hunter at fifteen snows. She, being a woman had to train harder to strenghten her body enought to wield those heavy weapons. Even now she's just strong enought to shoot or thrust in formation with the other hunters. But, she's super nimble, quick and has an enormous stamina. Kitty was compared to the First Hunter by the other hunters. While they were dead tired she was still energetic.
Then there was Little Wolf, the adoptive son of the First Hunter. Strong, fast, keen istincts and quick reflexes. He could already contend with five hunters while alone when he was just eleven snows old. Now he was fifteen, still looked like a child, just one meter and fourty centimeters tall and he looked thin, almost malnourished. But, his spear tecnique, his footwork and his aim with the bow all improved at an impressive speed. Right now only his father Sidon could fight him and come out on top.

And obviously there was the current First Hunter, the village lived in a period of unrest. There were hungry animals and bandit that would attack the village, the hunters weren't as strong or as coordinated. Many villagers died and the hunters training was expedited just to put more men againist the threaths that plagued the village. Sidon became a hunter at only eight snows old, saved Fianna at fourteen and became the First hunter at seventeen. When the last First Hunter fell in battle Sidon stepped up and rallied the hunters, becoming the First Hunter in their hearts and after that bloody battle he was officially titled First Hunter by Robert the village chief.
Brielle gave birth to a healty kid. Micah the father named the little girl Micahelle, so she could always have her parents with her, Brielle was not really happy with the name but... She did not have a better alternative and could not resist the younger man joy.
Both Robert and Stria were getting old with the problems that old age brought with it.
Mary apparently with Fianna's and the other carekaters help was cured of her curse, or at least no more accidents happened near her. She started to get close to a strapping fisherman when she discovered that her curse was broken. Annabelle was not sure about the new man around her mother but, she was happy that her mother smiled a lot more now.
About Annabelle, she had the biggest change. In only four snows she changed from a sweet child to an alluring young woman. As she grew to a meter and seventy-five centimeters tall all her baby fat disappeared form her body, leaving her with a curvaceous body. Her shoulder lenght brown hair enclose her cute face and her eyes, with their rare mix of colors, give the finishing touches to form a particular sort of attraction and mistique.

Little Wolf looked still the same and he was really gloomy about it. Swift Kitty and clumsy Annabelle formed an alliance, just to remind him how small he was every time they saw him. But something else was bothering him, his predator istincts were going into overdrive. He kept his predator side locked up inside him, as he could not leave the village he did not want to transform inside the village, he spent his time training and the mindless training kept his mind busy for a while. But, in the last period... the silence of the forest was getting to his head, he started to jump to the roof of the First Hunter house, to meditate and try to focus his senses outside of his body, outside of the village, to try to find something, anything. Little Wolf just stood on the roof, he lost track of the time. He was focusing on his heartbeat.

Little Wolf had to put a hand to his chest, his heart was beating fast and getting faster, he felt his body vibrate with every heartbeat. He felt like when he left his predator side go wild but, he was still human, he was still normal... After what to him appeared like a while, his heartbeat came back to a regular beating, it was faster than before but it was not going crazy!
It just felt strange... It felt like there where two heartbeats.
