Sebastian was handling all of my work. And I have confidence in him that he will not screw me up until some telepath mind RaPe him. I can't blame Winston for announcing a bounty on my head after what I did with him. I take everything from him, his power, his position, his company, and his reputation. He didn't even know where he was hit. It was so fast for him. I destroyed him in one sweep. I made an example of him that my age doesn't matter. Now everyone will take me seriously.
If you want them to agree with you then the first thing is to show that you have some weight to throw. Now they know that I am not some snotty nose brat.
Many people would say that it is good to be in the shadows so that no one takes you seriously and you can outrun them when they try to backstab you. This is the real world whose face is on the poster only he wins. As for the backstabbing why even let that happen. Make an example out of someone and let the fear spread. They will think a thousand times before even thinking of outsmarting you.

He's not very good at it, but he's going to have to learn in a hurry or watch everything he knows get torn apart by massive spacefaring empires straight from the pages of a fantasy novel. ---------- Some readers have noted that the MC tends to be weak willed and pushed around a bit. A significant portion of the story is his character growth into not being a pushover (i.e. him being passive is in the early chapters on purpose). I'm just including this caveat/warning to make sure that readers aren't surprised/upset and that they stick with it until he learns to stand up for himself. His arc begins to crystallize around chapters 25-27. If that's too long to wait, I get it, I'm just trying to do my due diligence and warn you that the character development is a bit of a slow burn. I have implemented an evolution system for all the creatures of this story, where they grow or mutate depending on what they consume. In this tale, you won't find a Deus ex machina to give the protagonist power-ups. Everything must be learned and comprehended before its use unless it's something it gets immediately, or the abilities get understood by instinct. In essence, it is survival and gambit for opportunities, be it from one MC or the other.
