《End Game[EG]》Ch 24: Keiichi and Sakura

Keichi e Sakura
"So it's today, huh?" Sakura was a little nervous because today she will meet Keiichi. She was relieved to learn that they were similar despite living on different planets.
'How is this possible?' She decided to question Yato later about it. He had talked about this, but in a shallow way.
"Yato, I'm ready!"
Sakura was hesitant to suddenly disappear, wouldn't her sister be worried? However, her doubts were answered by Yato.
'Don't worry, I will stop time in your world. Nothing is going to change.'
'I-I see…' Sakura closed her eyes.
*Crack!*
A space gate pulled Sakura out of her room.
-
Keiichi was sitting on her bed, looking thoughtful. Yato had already told him that today he would meet his Sakura Kanami.
'This girl…'
He expected her to be a nice girl. They would be teammates going forward, as the system would likely give them a mission to do together. Working as a team wasn't Keiichi's strong point, as he had never done it before. Having a troubled companion would complicate matters even more.
"I'm ready."
-
Sakura looked around with a shocked expression. She could see several distant galaxies, their glow illuminating dark space.

"So beautiful…" This was the most beautiful sight she had ever seen in her life. These galaxies were so beautiful… but they also had an eerie feeling. And to think that her planet is just an insignificant point in front of that.
'So this is space travel…' Sakura felt that she was being taken somewhere. However, she wasn't feeling any discomfort. Wouldn't a normal person be destroyed traveling at such a fast speed?
'What is it?' Sakura realized that she was being protected by some sort of bubble. Perhaps this is what is allowing her to witness such a beautiful phenomenon.

"Sakura Kanami."
Sakura was startled when she heard a female voice calling her name, when she looked towards the voice, she saw a beautiful woman with cat ears watching her.
"W-Who are you?!" Sakura was on high alert, she had never seen this woman.
'How beautiful.' She had to admit that this woman was the most beautiful person she had ever seen in her life.
"I appreciate your compliment."
"!!"
'Why can all the people I know read minds?!'
"My name is Yerin. Don't worry, I won't hurt you." Yerin introduced himself while observing distant galaxies.
"They're beautiful, aren't they?" Yerin said.
"W-Well, they are." Sakura was still hesitant to talk to Yerin, but she became calmer when she didn't sense any malicious intent.
"What do you want with me?" Sakura asked.
"I'm here to help you." Yerin thought this was a good time to talk to Sakura and Keiichi. She never found it necessary to have a conversation with these two, but this day would be inevitable. They would have to meet at some point, so Yerin thought this moment would be appropriate for a first impression.
"Yato sent you here?" Sakura asked. She also noticed that Yerin was wearing maid clothes, leaving Sakura confused.
"Yes and no." Yerin replied.
'That sadist…' She was sure that Yato didn't need a maid.
"Where's Yato?! Tell him to come here!" Sakura exclaimed.
"Calm down. You'll find him soon enough." Yerin replied.
...
*Sigh!*
"Alright…" Sakura said, with a sigh. "Say… don't you feel small when you look at that?"
Sakura felt an emptiness in her chest, knowing that her planet wasn't the only special one in the midst of all this.
Yerin understood Sakura's feeling, as she had felt that way too. That feeling is scary. It is frightening to think that you are a simple "cosmic dust" that could be destroyed at any moment. It's scary to think you're nothing special. Everyone wants to be special, everyone wants to be the "protagonist" of the story, that's the truth.

"You are special." Yerin said.
"Huh?..." Sakura was confused, "Am I... Special?"
"Yes, you are." Yerin said no more than that. She decided not to bring it up now.
"Well, to answer your question, no, I don't feel small." Yerin would agree with Sakura if her question was asked before she met certain people.
"Look."
Yerin extended her hand towards the Galaxy, leaving Sakura confused by her action.
"What will you-"

*BOOOOOOMMMMMM!*
…
"W-What?!" Sakura couldn't believe what she was seeing. An explosion on unimaginable levels, completely destroying the Galaxy.
"You…" Sakura didn't know what to say. If this "bubble" wasn't protecting her, she would die along with this Galaxy.
"You have great potential, don't keep getting smaller. Grow up and be strong, Sakura." Yerin said.
...
"Yes…" Sakura blushed a little.
"Well, let's go. We're already late." Yerin did not want to prolong the matter. There was a lot Sakura wasn't ready to know yet.
Yerin restored the galaxy she destroyed before she left.
-
Keiichi watched the Galaxy that was destroyed, with a shocked expression.
"Unbelievable!" Will he ever be able to have that power?
"It's surprising that a mortal like you could survive Hell Flame." Yerin commented. Yes, she was in two places at once. Even though she couldn't be everywhere at once, she could still be in several.
"Do not underestimate me." Keiichi said. "By the way, what is this flame? Yato hasn't told me much about it."
"It's a divine flame, created by an evil God to exterminate other Gods. It's a flame with great potential."
…
"That Evil God won't come after me, will he?" Keiichi asked with a dubious expression.
"...Who knows."
