So I decided to put the story I absolutely love writing on, potentially, an indefinite hiatus. I just wanna explain it really quick, because the story managed to garner over 4,000 total views, which...is just mind-blowing. Like, how? Why? You’re mad lads, all of you! My point is that there are people who actually read my sloppy story every time I update it, again, I dunno why you people do it, but I’m grateful. I didn’t wanna stop writing it without saying something, or at least giving you a short explanation.

So, I guess there are a few reason I can’t really continue The Treeboy anymore, and I’ll start with the lack of time to develop my ideas. With how I’m reaching the end of my school year and having my final exams, and how I generally have a weirdly tight schedule, I can’t spend enough time on a story that deserves more effort from me, the author. There’s also the matter of a few too many hobbies I’ve started doing, such as: Video and Image editing, and trying to improve on my disorders, like Depression and Social Anxiety, to name a few.

I’m forgetful and drafting is close to impossible because of my way of thinking and processing information, so that, mixed with my schedule and the 2 free hours a day after school, I ended up writing a chapter almost daily. It was like I had someone telling me to write it when I was just pressuring myself to make a story better than it was, ending up rushing it. Sorry about that. I wanna say that I won’t just stop writing in general. I’m planning to develop something with another mate I’m close to online and….well, it’s gonna be a bit of a thingy.

As a conclusion, The Treeboy is going on a hiatus and I’m not really gonna change my mind tomorrow and go write 1,400 words, post that word vomit, and call it a chapter. I guess I went too Dragon Ball and not enough Oyasumi Punpun in my writing. What does that mean? Read the damn manga, man.
