The shield is one hand weapon so I can choose another weapon. I found my liking. A Lance.

A Lance is like a spear but they are different. Spear has a lot of uses while Lance just has one use and that is " Charge ". The Lance is a Pole weapon designed to be used by a mounted warrior or cavalry soldier or lancer.
