Chapter 1 - Earth
A flash of blue light and a large ripping sound cracked through the air as the space around the light teared, opening a rift to a different world. The rift slowly rotated with blue light orbiting around the outside like a black hole ready to devour everything. After the rift opened in New York city, all hell broke loose, buildings collapsed and thousands died within the first two minutes of the rift opening. Then a Dragon poked its snout out through and a fire as hot as the sun bellowed out, death and misery followed. Hundreds of thousands died that day.
In the first week of the rift opening earth had welcomed Wizards, Witches, Dragons and more creatures that killed millions while slowly spreading out along the east coast. With the fate of the world in danger against magical fantastical creatures, the international leaders called a convention and set out to force back the invaders. Sitting around a large circular table, the leaders planned.
"What are these things???" the President of the United States said while pointing towards a satellite image of hundreds of small, angry looking green things.
"I think they are goblins, sir," said an aid to his side.
"What is a... Goblin??" The president said with a serious expression.
"A Goblin sir... Like the ones in computer games..." said the aid with a quizzical look upon his face.
"Don't look at me like I'm an idiot... Im the President I don't have time for stupid games!" said the President half shouting.
"Sorry sir..." the aid apologised.
"It's fine, just tell me what you know of these.... Goblins," the President said with a sigh.
"In the games, sir, they are typically low levelled and weak creatures that are easy to kill." said the aid.
"Well, lets see if bullets can kill them... Send Alpha Squad 1 in." said the President.
Sam and his team now dubbed Alpha Squad 1. After the losses from the initial invasion, the higher ups made a vanguard of elites to drive back the enemy's and try to at least contain the threat. Sam just got off the phone from his commander, having received orders to attack and force back goblins. Goblins..... WTF.... Like those green ugly looking things in games....??? thought Sam, besides orders are orders and he will do whatever he needs to do. Reaching his team, Sam sets out directions and orders everyone to suit and arm up. "Alright boys, we got a kill order for a few hundred green fucks...." said Sam, looking out towards his people.

"Green Fucks????" Questioned one of his team members.
"Yea, Goblins... Like those ugly fucks in video games," replied Sam, throwing some pictures he received up on the big screen.
Mutters and murmurs sounded out throughout the team. And a few faces of disgust, seen by Sam as they looked at the pictures shown.
"Alright.... Thats enough... Were moving out soon so get ready." Ordered Sam.
"Why not just drop a few bombs on them, not like there are anymore humans around there anymore??" Said a black bearded man while looking at the map. The team looked glum after that, remembering the day the rift came.
"Hmm, they want us to test bullets, to see what damage we can do so the rest of the army can fight back. Anyway, we are moving out in 10mins." Said Sam.
The team soon got focused and packed the gear and get weapons and ammo ready. They loaded up into the chopper, all with serious and focused expressions on their faces. Alpha Team 1, the elites of the world, the vanguard ready to force the enemy's back to the shit hole world they come from, to save humanity, and today they looked ready.
Reaching the drop off point just outside a small city on the east coast, Sam and his team setup getting ready to move out. Moving through the city, the team silently walked the deserted streets. Blood covered the sidewalks and buildings. Sam and 20 moved east and the black bearded guy and the others moved west. Entering a narrow road there was silence, the calm before the storm. Reaching the end of the road, Sam and his team heard grunts and groans almost like a large pig farm was just around the corner. Peaking around the corner, Sam looked on horrified. In front of him was an enormous mass of green pig looking creatures with small horns. What made Sam look on in horror was a group of around 15 goblins standing to the side, covered in blood. Humans tore up and piled with legs, arms and heads just clumped together in a mass around 5 meters wide and 3 meters tall there. The Goblins stood around just enjoying themselves like it's a picnic. The Disgust that Sam felt almost made vomit, holding his never he began relaying orders to the other team that went west.

"--kzzz-- Beta Team, this is Alpha Team. How copy?? ---kzzzz--" Radioed in Sam.
"--kzzz--Alpha Team, Beta Team has you loud Send It--kzzz--" A voice came on the radio.
"--kzzz--We have the Green Fucks on our 20, be ready to flank we going loud.--kzzz--" Replied Sam.
As soon as the radio was silent, Sam gave the hand sign for fire at will. Sam shot first with a loud crack a Goblin fell, then like a musical symphony of cracks and bangs, green blood sprayed. The goblins charged, pushing towards Alpha team. Standing there ground and watching as the Goblins funneled into a choke point on the narrow road. The dead piled up, blocking the entry of the Goblins, but the green fuckers didn't stop. They kept on pushing like mindless zombies, just focused on attacking. They stamped and squashed, and squeezed their way through. The dead now looking like a green gooey plump on the floor. Beta Team rounded up on the flank and shot from behind. After 10mins of constant fire, both teams run out of ammo. More Goblins come and blocked Beta Team in between the first set of Goblins. Looking ahead above the slaughter and seeing a sea of green that flowed like an endless stream of emerald that grunted and groaned, Sam called in for backup "--kzzz--Alpha Base 1, this is Alpha Team 1.... targets have surrounded us.... killed around 100-200 targets.... double that left.... oh shiiit......--kzzz--"
*BOOOM* A loud explosion rang out as a huge fireball hit the ground. The shock wave hit Sam like a ton of bricks, and he flew into the opposite wall. Feeling the end coming and his eyes gradually closing, he looked up to see a man in a robe hovering like a god of death in the sky. He looked the man in his eyes and could see a smirk on his face before his vision went black and he lost consciousness.
The President looked at the screen and stared in horror as he watched the body cams of his soldiers blink out as soon as the fireball hit. Sweating profusely with fear, he looked around and stared at the other shocked faces of the meeting. "Holy Shit we need to kill that thing now..." Declared the President while thinking of the floating man in the sky.
"How long until we can get a nuke out there...." questioned the President.
"Two minutes, sir... Do you think that's the best idea" said someone from behind a desk of screens and computers.
"BEST IDEA..... BEST IDEA.... I do not know what to do. But that thing just sent a fireball and nearly destroyed the entire city and that was just one attack....." Shouted the President.
"Fire the nuke....." Ordered the President.

The first project focusing on four protagonists within the same world set around fictional 14th-century Europe. This is the first P.A.R.A.D.O.X. PROJECT focusing on 3 (+1) protagonists within the same world set around fictional 14th-century-esque Europe. Each story has its own protagonists (Male or Female Lead), genres (mainly Western Fantasy), and can be read as a standalone. Status: OngoingUpdate(s) per week: 1Words per chapter: 3000 - 6000 *** ‘A human or not; a king or a servant; hope or despair; a hero or a villain.’ Depending on one's perspective and how each story portrays, one will view an individual or a group as evil or virtuous. Because of that, it depends on the reader and listener to believe which one is the truth. More people read and trust multiple (trusted?) sources that either complement or contradict one another. The contradiction becomes the source of debates between those who believe and those who don’t. From that difference in belief, two groups appear: The Majority and The Minority. The majority, having more people, suppress the minorities’ beliefs, claiming theirs, the majorities’, to be the truth. However, the majority are not only composed solely of those who share the same belief but also those who know the truth but afraid to admit it. They have to keep quiet and turn a blind eye for their safety. The majority had to submit to those with power and authority. With the majority under control, those with power and authority can create, manipulate, and/or fabricate truth and lies by force. The reason was for one’s or group’s personal benefits. In the end, there is no such thing as ‘absolute truth’; only sugar-coated lies created by the top. Don’t believe me? It is up to you to decide. Go and read it yourself.
