Chapter 2: The King

We all looked at each other. I frowned. "Hang on. How is it we can understand each other?"

The elf tilted her head to the side. "I'm not too sure on the specifics, but you are all speaking one launguage. The language of this realm, which is Tarkenshin."

"You still haven't told us where we are are."

"You are in Tarken. And it is time for you to meet the king."

As we walked up the stairs, I noticed that paintings were hanging on the walls. There was one with a devil on, and one with an angel. They were all so confusing, that by the time I had enough brain space to concentrate on another, we had arrived in the throne room.

"As you enter, the king will be seated in front of you. Do not do anything that will offend him." We walked in. It was at that moment that we realised that Axel was buck naked.

The king stared straight at him. "Dear God. Get this man some pants!" He said. He then burst out laughing, as did the rest of us.

The king dried his eyes. "Hello. My name is Haruka Nagishota, and I am the king of this realm. It is a pleasuer to meet you all. I'm sorry, but this is all I can say to you, for you must now go and find your magic element and mana capacity. I will see you all later at some point, to give you some advice, but now I must fly! I have a meeting to attend, sadly."

And then he left. He's buggered off!
