The perverted Kara Seemed to be awakened again.

'It doesn't look much when I am wearing a shirt ,but underneath it i have six packs...........SIX PACKS!!!!!!'

The training regime set by Kara worked wonders, not only her control over her knifes increased, her physical stats increased too.

But......"Why don't you have any abs yet?"

She was forcing Reid to go to more strict training as he does not have sufficient powers, but he was still weak and always got defeated in hand to hand sparring matches.

"I....I eat le....less!!!"

"So you meant to say , I eat like a pig HUH!!"

During the conversation Kara was doing chinups while controling her knifes..... her efficient control range has increased by a whopping 10m, making it 210m. And whereas Reid was busy stuffing grounded and salted organs into intestine, making it into sausages!!.

"Well forget about it!! there is something bothering me for a while, but where did you learn to cook?"

"Da...dad is ne..never home, nee...ed to make foo..food myself"

She didn't rebuted onhim on that as she knew his father was mostly at work.

"But what about skinning and cleaning?"

She didn't ask anymore, no it would seem more correct to say that she didn't wanted to know anymore.

"OK!!" *In a weird way*

"Oh! and its already getting dark now.... Go get cook some dinner."

Ried didn't reply all he did was gazed at the horizon...

"Are you deaf? I said go a n d c o o k s o m e d i n n e r!" *sarcasm*

"N...no look.." Reid pointed his finger in front of the house.

"What is that......a forrest fire?"

What they both saw from their home, smoke coming out of the forest atleast 20km away from them.

"hey! wait a minute what's that."

This time it was her who pointed the finger, but not at the forest but in the sky.

"someth....thing is flying up th................." as he was saying this, the thing in the sky spit fire on the forest.

"Get in!" ordered Kara , who was having a troubled expresion on her face.

They both ran inside the house without a moments hesitation." Close all the lights on the ground floor, I will do the upper floor."

She was in hurry, she didn't have anytime to explain anything to Reid. she knew what it was... it was a DRAGON!!..

Reid didn't ask any question's he knew something dangerous may come to their house if the lights attracted its attention.

After closing all the lights Kara came back to Reid."We are to say indoors, it may not have noticed this place yet"

The dragon did not actually noted their place, but it was just 20km away and if they can see it , it can see them too.

Soon the night came, they were not able to see the dragon anymore... but they didn't let their vigilance go down.

They didn't sleep that night.

"Can you see it?" It was already morning..... Kara had dark circles under their eyes.

"I asked did you see it anymore?"

*snoring**snoring*..............*snoring*

"wait a minute"

Seeing that Reid was sleeping happily, Kara's faced twitched a little.

"WAKE UP YOU LAZY BASTARD!!!!!" Kicked Kara on Reid's face.

"oumf... ooo...owww"

"I was awake all night and this bastard is still sleeping."

"GO MAKE ME SOME DINNER, I am gonna sleep soon."

While getting up Reid just nodded and went back into the kitchen.

"I need to get more strict with him."*sigh*

She was sleepy, She would have slept then and their, but she hadn't eaten at night........ She needed energy to sleep.

As she was dozing off on the sofa.

*shake**shake**shake*......................*shake*

"Wake up Oni...onee-chan"

"huh!! what?"

"break....fast is ready"

"oh!! Yah right"

While eating breakfast" For the next 2-3 days we are not to get out of this house. we will stay here.... and then I will go and check ground zero"

For the rest of the following days, they didn't do much. They didn't even exercise, Reid all the time played games on Sid's computer whereas Kara just did her usual logging and slept.

"Today's the day, the dragon was not sited for 2 days so i am going to check the most affected area. As usual, you stay indoors until I comeback.... Are we clear"

"Yes! Onee-cha....chan"

After goodbyes, Kara took a thermus of water, as she can only teleport upto 3 times after which she is drained and need too wait 10 minutes to recharge.... she will need to walk a lot too.

"It's going to be a long journey", Even though she can reach the village in minimum 1 hour she was still unwilling.

'The good thing is that, there were no , wolfman or those poor green beings here, they are probably scared of The Great Me....Ha! HA..HA!"

Actually all the animals got scared of dragon and ran away.

After an hour of walk and teleporting Kara reached what seemed to be village....... there were still some trees and houses that were burning.

"There was a village here?"

As Kara was thinking that a smell of burning hair assaulted her nose."eww"

And then she noted the whole village was littered with burned corpses.There were corpses of women and men alike... And they were all adults, no children were found in the bodies

Kara has never seen so many deaths in one place, she has killed humanoid creatures, but this was definitely different.

"hm! what was that?"

she heard a sound coming from her right.............. when she reached the place what seemed to be like a well was seen.

"Maybe someone survived!!"

When she reached the well, all she saw was a half burned body of a woman. Kara's face distorted.

As she was going to go back to her house, she again heard the water moving. when she looked down... what she found was a little girl floating next to the corpse.

Kara went to into action and lifted the kid with her psychic power and then started tending to the kid...

When she saw how cold her body was and the water caused her body to be swollen too... she started teleporting again... tis time she can at maximum teleport 2 times before going out, as the load increased.... but she didn't stopped ... she ran at full speed.

Due to her presistance she reached the house in 70mins.

"Reid! REID...... THERE IS A SMALL GIRL, COME HERE, Her CONDITION IS NOT RIGHT "

Reid came running to her ,when he saw the girl he panicked.

"Wha....what should I do....do?"

"Go and turn the heater on maximum and bring the first aid!!

Ried ran away to do his chore.... this time he seemed more panicked then the time he and Kara just got themselves killed by wolfman.

Kara was not sitting either , she started rubbing the foot of the little girl to keep her warm.

"I need to dry her up"

She teleported away and brought some towel. Which she used to drying the little girl off.

But when she reached her hair , she felt something pointy sticking out.

As she was just checking what it was Reid came out..

"Reid........ I think this girl is an elf" their was an odd shine in Kara's eyes, which died out in less than a second

She will do the priorities first.... HObby comes later
