《The World Of Divinity》Danger Strikes!

Alex now had an insane amount of capital for early game. Yet what was more shocking was the amount of money that he still had yet to make.
From his calculations he could make close to 1000 gold every batch of amour he sold up until the regional dungeon started. That was mainly because up until then there would be a crazy demand for amour of this quality.
Not only could it boost the likely hood of players surviving but it increased the efficiency of those guild teams looking the first clear reward.
The downside being after the dungeon started there would be chance for players to get amour of better quality from floor drops.
With that in mind Alex not only had to spend this money to make more money but he had to figure out a way to use this money to better his chances for the regional dungeon.
After all if he could profit from the dungeon as well he would maintain he lead across his competitors.
But for no this could wait.
-Alex's POV-
"Hmmm, maybe it's time I got back to levelling. I've been stuck inside a crafting workshop for the past 2 days in game and the lead that I had has gone."
Looking at the City rankings the first named player was now level 14. Although Alex received a small amount of XP every time he completed a Chestplate it wasn't able to keep up with a farming run.
"Connor did say to invite him the next time I was online. Given the fact that he was decent in my past life and the regret I have for pushing him away. I could do a farming run with him."
"He is probably a higher level than me now as well. The only problem is my in game name being Zero will pull unwanted attention."

"No that I'm thinking about It, all I have to do is get my hands on a unique grade of equipment with a stealth ability capable of hiding my player details to those lower level than me."
"From my memories there should be a couple of spots I can try for something of that quality."
"Either way It looks like I have a plan now."
Alex didn't waste much time as he made his way out of the City after restocking his supplies spending a little bit of money on things like health potions and Mana potions. All at common grade of course.
Just because he had a lot of money didn't mean he was going to recklessly spend it when he had a pitifully low Mana reserve anyway.
After leaving the City he made his way towards the local hunting grounds. Cities tended to have a hunting grounds surrounding them which players and hunters the like could go and find herbs, materials even ores if they were lucy and then sell them back at the City for money.
Of course the real hunting grounds often needed you to teleport via the teleportation circle inside the City to get too.
However, for Alex he had one goal in mind and that was the Blood Moore Valley.
Alex had to walk for close to 2 hours through the hunting grounds. For normal players they'd be on high alert as the grounds around them were for LVL 15 to 20 players. However, for Alex this was easy to traverse. With his stealth upgraded from the kolbolt expedition he didn't have to stressed too much.
Crossing the distance by staying out of the territory of any high level beasts he made his way to his destination with ease.
Blood Moore Valley got it's name from the tall towering mountains that enclosed it off from the rest of the world. With not a lot of light reaching in the Valley was almost always in a state of night time.

A perfect place from the top of the line night predators.
A stench of death was permeating from the valley as soon as Alex closed in on it.

"Hmm just how I remember it. The overwhelming death QI here sure is terrifying to those who haven't experienced it before."
His body gently shivering as it adjusted itself to the surroundings.
"Well then, time to hunt!" He whispered as he pulled his hood up on his cloak. Entering a state of one with the world blending in to the surroundings.
Alex was now in he best armour as he had equipped himself with the Thorn Piercing Chestplate of the best quality from the 350 crafted. (12% added defence).
His broken arm guards from hunting to level 10 had been replaced with another set of common arm guards of slightly better durability and the rest of his armour had been acceptable so Alex left that.
-Valley Of Blood Moore-
A shadow of a figure was flying through the trees as it made it's way deeper and deeper into the valley.
Using the terrain to it's advantage this shadow sometimes jumped from tree branch to tree branch other times it would slow it's pace and blend in with bushes .
In all of it's actions though, sound was void.
Of course this shadow was Alex.
"The freedom of the wild sure is relaxing" he muttered to himself as he slowed his pace after sensing something up ahead.
'Danger' his body and mind screamed as he reflexively jumped to the side and took cover behind a tall and wide old dark oak tree.
A claw the size of a human head tore up the ground and rock and soil alike flew out in all directions.
"hsssh" Alex took in a breath of cold air as he look at the ground before him. If he hadn't moved before hand he almost certainly would have been mutilated.
Gazing up towards the creature that could cause such a thing Alex found himself asking why the heaven's caused him to be so unlucky today.
