《Why do I have to be the SI?!》Chapter 1

This fic was made by me as just a way to blow off some steam as I try to get back into the writing game. As my last few attempts at writing have not been good. So if you have any criticisms let me know. Also I'm making most of this up as I go so if you see any continuity errors let me know. Any ways on to the story.
---------------------------------
You know things are about to go tits up and your about to have your shit kicked in when you get the message all those cyoa fags get before there sent to worm. See that's what I wish would have happened. Instead I ended up with the knowledge of a fictional civilization I made up in my head. I never even wrote the shit down.
I figure I should give some context here. See one day I was just playing some games when an idea came to me. See a few months back I was playing dominions 4 with the black ulm mod. If you never played or heard of the game I won’t fault you it's a pretty unknown game. Anyways I was playing as black ulm when a thought came to me. What would a nation of the two combined look like?
Thus I had my idea and whenever the fancy struck me I would expand on it. You see this was a game about magic and gods and stuff not much advanced tech to go around. But over time I expanded on it like them discovering gunpowder and combining it with magic to get guns that were simply better. Over a year of this thought experiment later and there was four thousand years of history on a nation with a VERY good grasp of magi-tech that was a star nation with over ten-thousand planets.

So yea you can imagine my surprise when suddenly my mind was flooded with the knowledge of not only how to make their shit but also on how to SUMMON ulmish troops and shit of course that's when shit went downhill. First off there was the massive fuck off headache from being hit by that amount of info in a half second.
Second there was the knowledge and ability to do ulmish magic shoved down my throat and let me tell you there is no greater pain than your soul BURNING for what felt like years as the magic is imprinted on your soul. As you can probably guess I passed out only to awaken in my apartment hours later with an even worse headache than before as well as a phantom ache in my very being as the magic continued to settle in.
Finally the third thing was as I looked around at my new knowledge and got to the summoning things a wave of new understanding hit me. What it basically told me was that not only would they be summoned basically naked but I would either have to make their equipment for them, or I would have to find a way to get equipment for them. A silver lining in all this was at least they would be summoned loyal to myself alone and to no one else. So if I was ever in a desperate situation I could summon some naked super soldiers for help.

The Abyssal Dungeon
The world of Vol, a huge, bountiful plane where the only constant is life, in its many, many forms. One such form is a dungeon core, a peculiar little gemstone, and the focus of our attention. Watch as this otherwise unremarkable gem awakens in one of the most resplendant places in Vol, an aptly named Mana Reef, and how it turns its simple hole in the ocean floor into something truly unique, all while the rest of the world is forced to deal with its growth. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This is my first venture into writing for fun, and I'm hoping to keep this running until I run out of juice. With that said, I very much enjoy dungeon core novels, and wanted to do one a bit outside the norm. Hope you enjoy! If you want to come stop by the discord, I know we'd all be more than happy to welcome you! https://discord.gg/pcR5g5XX8h

Gray's Crucible
“The value you have brought to trade is immense, more than a thousand fold what any other traveler to Crucible has ever produced. More than even I produced during my journey.” The old man paused for a moment here, seemingly reluctant to continue. After a few seconds he begins again with weariness creeping into his voice. “As the Messenger of Crucible I have received the value of your life. You shall be awarded a body with potential equaling the value you have brought to this place in accordance with the laws of the higher realms. Now you shall depart for Crucible, but first; I, Jaze, will give you some advice.” The old man, Jaze, he had named himself paused a time. Time enough that Gray began to wonder if he was still present, when he suddenly continued in a low and serious tone, “You will undoubtedly have great potential Gray of Earth, but it is still only potential. What could be is not necessarily what will be. If you step foolishly in my world, if you can not live up to the potential you have bartered for, Crucible will crush you mercilessly and tear away your very soul.” A thought, cheerful and light was heard from Gray before his presence was sent rocketing away like a shooting star. “I’m looking forward to it.”
