《In Z Finite》11 - Demons

Zarco slept tightly in a simple bed, he was clearly uncomfortable, not used to rest on such a cheap bed.
With the discomfort dragging him back to reality, Zarco starts to wake up, upon seeing the unusual celling he questions.
-Where... Where am I?
He then hears a female voice speaking in an excited tone.
-You finally woke up!
Still a little drowsy, Zarco tries to look to the side trying to track the source of that voice.
Zarco is then surprised by the sight of a muscular arm.
-Huh?!
He sees a muscular young woman staring at him kindly while speaking.
- Calm down, you're safe.
Before she says anything else, the assassin that saved Zarco starts speaking while he leans on the door
-If it wasn't for the work I had saving you, I could have killed more angels...
She then says in an irritated tone.
-What have we already talked about this story of killing angels?!
Assassin
-That it's not nice to risk myself just to go kill that filthy scum...
Woman
-So you go and do what?!
Assassin
-I go there alone to kill the filthy scum...
Woman
-Honestly, you're hopeless! First you started attacking entire patrols by yourself and now you're invading the capital at the risk of one of our only pegasus!
Assassin
-It was the first time, I just did it once, so what's the problem?!
The assassin then speaks while making air quotes.
-And if I hadn't done that, you wouldn't have this precious patient of yours for you to spend hours on end "saving" his life.
Zarco
-Wait, what she did to me?
Assassin
-She treated your wounds and stuff.
Zarco
-How is that not saving my life?
Assassin
-Hey, I never said that she didn't.
Zarco
-But you implied.
Assassin
-I just think that it was a waste of her time, I am sure if we left you long enough on the bed the bleeding would stop, eventually.

Zarco just stares at him, not believing what he had just heard
Woman
-He was almost dying when you brought him here, I couldn't just leave him there, and what are the air quotes for? Did you get jealous?
Assassin
-Yes! This worm was supposed to be dead!
Woman
-Hey! It's okay to hate angels, but not one of ours! Do you understand Morie?
Zarco starts laughing
-Morie...
"Morie" stares at him with hate in his eyes
-For you it's Morietur Sanguine.
Zarco
-Wow, calm down Morie.
Morietur steps forward to drive the blade attached to his wrist into Zarco's face.
The woman takes a firm hold of Morietur's arm and stares at him with a frightening look.
Morietur
-Let me go, I'll kill him!
She lands a punch in the pit of Morietur's stomach.
Morietur lies on the floor with his hand on his stomach, moaning in pain.
The woman then turns to Zarco with a sweet smile and says.
-Sorry, sometimes Morie gets a little carried away.
Zarco
-Yeah... "a little".
Zarco starts looking at his surroundings and questions
-Now, just out of pure curiosity, where the hell am I?
Woman
-On the ground of the lower island, within the territory of our colony.
Morietur
-In a barracks bed, wounded, incapacitated, and with no hope of escape.
Zarco
-Ok, I think I got it… and who are you?
Woman
-Members of the empire's colonizing mission, coming to populate this island and bring resources to our empire.
Morietur
-The imperial army that came to take these lands and exterminate the scum that inhabits it.
The two talk together
-We are the demons!
Zarco looks at them confused.
-What?
