《Empress of the Lost Realm》Prologue (Part 2)

In a place with an extensive foliage where beautiful flowers can be seen and trees so big that their ends cannot be seen. This can be said to be an ancient place with many stories behind and now another story is beginning in the middle of the entire forest.
The originally beautiful landscape was replaced by something that not many would be able to resist to leave immediately because innumerable bodies are here and there and the place is full of the stagnant air of blood and metal.
Anyone would be able to imagine about the events that happened in this place.
''Husband, is everything finally finished?'' said a woman with beautiful jade-like skin, silver hair and golden eyes.
''Yeah, everything should be fini-'' said a man with a short red hair who looked like a scholar with pale skin emphasizing his exhaustion, but before he was able to finish what he was going to say he sensed someone coming towards them at high speed.
He immediately realized what was going on and hurriedly called:
''Amanda!'' after saying this, someone appeared behind him as if out of nowhere and continued saying ''Grab Alice and get out of here! Now!''
Without questioning anything Amanda quickly retrieved the baby that is inside the carriage. When she stood besides the carriage with the baby in her arms she looked around and looked at her master as if confirming, who in turn looked at her like seeing a friend for the last time in their lives, confirming what he means she quickly ran towards the opposite direction until she was of a considerable distance she stopped and looked back.
When Amanda left, the couple finally looked relieved but one second later they looked cautiously at their surroundings and finally looked at one direction with killing intent.

''Hahahaha... who would have thought that the grand heroic Arthur would be in a situation like this.'' said the voice while walking towards them, he was a tall and muscular person with scars everywhere and looked like the typical muscle head.
''Well it doesn't matter. Arthur, Lady Isabel, hand over your daughter and nothing bad will happen, I promise it'' he said with so much sincerity and if someone did not know about him everyone would believe him.
''Abel, do you think someone would believe the likes of you?'' Arthur said with a calm tone while emitting a chilling aura.
After saying this Arthur quickly touched his spatial ring and retrieved a white pearl which made Abel aghast and immediately panicked.
After hesitating for a while he turned and looked at Arthur with conviction and said ''Ha! do you think I am stupid? you will not do such a thing while your daughter and wife are here.''
Isabel grabbed Arthur's hand with conviction and after that much to Abel's dismay Arthur send a strand of Qi towards the pearl that in turn began to shine like the sun itself.
A few kilometers ahead, Amelia looked back with horror when she saw a bright explosion envelop the entire space and as quickly as it came it disappeared seemingly without doing any damage but Amelia knew better and finally looked forwards and disappeared without any trace left behind.

Iron and Wood - A Tale Of Empire and Clans
For centuries, the Midlands had been split into fragments. A once glorious, united Empire has become a shadow of its former self. Unity has not returned, and not for the lack of trying. The greatest of these successor states were the Li Dynasty to the south, the rulers of old, and the Emerald Empire to the North, with its vibrant vitality. Unity is the end goal, and both will sacrifice anything to attain this elusive dream. For unity would surely solve the conflict that had long plagued this once prosperous continent. The Ironwood Clan was a prime player. Some would consider them the ones holding the reigns to the horse named 'Unification'. Iron and wood were the backbones of civilization; similarly, the Ironwoods were the backbones of the Northern Empire, and by extension, the people of the Midlands. Their methods, as questionable as they might be, had strengthened the North. Yet, were they enough? In the midst of it all, a young Ironwood who had lost his path must once again find his way. For the sake of his own wellbeing; for the sake of his clan; and for the sake of the Empire and its subjects. However, is he willing to sacrifice for the good of all? Is he willing to condemn some for the sake of others? Is he willing to make the right, albeit harsh, decisions? Only the heavens would know. Disclaimer: This is a work of fiction. Names, characters, businesses, events and incidents are the products of the author’s imagination. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or actual events is purely coincidental. Additionally, any views and beliefs expressed by the characters are not the author's own. The story is also not an endorsement of any actions taken within. The 'profanity' and 'sexual content' warning tags are there to be safe (and to leave room for potential future changes), but for now these two things are not inside this novel. This is my take on 'cultivation', though it might be somewhat disconnected from the general idea of the genre. Release schedule: Two chapters a week. The cover was created using wombo art. While I believe that creations using the app are in the public domain, if that is not the case, I will take it down.
