《The Wyrm King》INTRODUCTION
Advertisement
“A warrior is brave for wielding a sword and shield, he is even braver when he lays them down to wield a sickle and a plow. A farmer reaps only that which he himself hath sown, a warrior reaps the work of the land and of life. When a life is taken, it adds weight to your soul, and you sink to the bottom, deeper into the flames, never able to climb higher.”
--Annor the Pyratic, First Year of the First Era
A tale of old, long passed down by the denizens of this city. A tale of a man, risen from the ashes of his city, to take vengeance on those who slaughtered his people, and his family. He was their greatest warrior, and he was the orcs most feared enemy. He is only known now as the Wyrm King, and this will be his story. It begins with a wizard, one of only a few in the land. This wizard was known by many and nearly all in the land. This wizard was none other than Kaaltric the Wandering. Throughout his many adventures and findings it was he who uncovered this tale, and he is the only one who knows the fate of the Wyrm King, which he learned from his father and his father before him, both Wizards before him as well. Kaaltric chooses very carefully whom he tells the story to, as there are always enemies, ones who thirst for power. You have been one of those chosen, you have earned, by the grace of Kaaltric, to learn the fate of the Wyrm King. It began as thus.....
In ages long since past there was a warrior of the early tribes of men, the first of the race to inhabit this land their origins still squabled amongst today. A single tribe outshone all the others, a tribe whose name is the same as this cities, Haafstar. This city was their city, although they called it another name once their fall had arisen, brought by the orcs of the East and hundreds of years later this city was found, and a story was told. A story of a single warrior, their greatest warrior whose name is lost just as the rest of the tribe. This man was a very strong and not to be messed with, if there was one thing he was good at, it was ending another’s life. This warrior had seen over his life more blood and death than anyone ever should, and he had become sick of it. One day he cast down his sword and shield and picked up a hammer, and a sickle. He turned away from the warriors life to become a farmer. And this is where our story begins.

Dungeons & Demons
*!* This story is currently being continued on a different page, following years of hiatus and extensive rewrites *!* Please follow the link to read the up-to-date version: https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/53863/cycles-of-ruin Basil von Doom is a powerful dungeon keeper with a simple mission: to bring ruin and destruction upon civilized worlds at the height of their decadence and stagnation. Much like his father before him, the new master of House Doom is a prodigy of war, yet the venerable minions of his household still hold strange loyalties toward his missing ancestor, silently comparing the legendary rage of his father to the more pragmatic approach of the son. Adding to Basil’s frustrations is the lack of accomplishment he feels for his work, with the dungeon keeper often taking on handicaps just to give his enemies a fighting chance. With all the power and wealth one could ever dream of already within his grasp, Basil now finds that the achievements of others kindle more joy in his heart than his own crushing victories. Thus Basil has taken up mentoring the next generation of dungeon keepers to try and diagnose the cause for his own lack of passion. With his apprentice, Elnora, managing most of the daily work around the dungeon, Basil can finally turn his attention towards his personal concerns, such as tackling the shadow of his legendary father that still looms large over him.

I'm not evil, trust
Lonnie Winters was one of the lucky ones to become evolvers. Becoming a type of warrior that has a spirit beast, he lives his life on the edge of a scale. Trying to balance between living a normal life and making a statement that puts him as the face of evolvers. (This is an apocalypse story and those used to reading my unfinished stories. Then this is similarly a slow roasted story. This is also just second draft. Sorry for the mistakes, I started this when I was in the hospital for my knee and hip surgery.)

Wary but tempted, she struggles to get through the summer without stripping herself of her virtue, and losing her heart to Sebastian Vice-a man so beautiful and broken, he will hurt her as much as he will love her. Or will she face the punishment of falling for a wicked Vice? Wrought by secrets and scars, this is a story of two people who hunger darkly and desperately for a love they are strangers to-a love that endures, hopes and sets them free.***WARNING: This story may be a little steamier than my usual ones. There might be scenes and concepts that are objectionable to some people so heed this warning before you start reading. I don't think it's erotica but let's just say some parts are steamy.
