A room full of white. White bed, white desk, white curtains, white windows, white tv… However, in that white room, there were things that were, actually, colorful.
Posters, figures… Otaku stuffs.
But the thing was, all of those colorful ones…
They
didn’t
belong
to that realm.
“What do you say!?” a boy in black raised his voice against a girl in white.
“Truck… obasan…” the girl replied with a voice that was hard to hear. “But—“
“What? Truck what!?” the boy shouted.
“OBASAAAAN!!!” the girl screamed back with tears in her eyes.
“Oh my...” the boy face-palmed. “Shiro!” he shouted the girl’s name. She, or Shiro, was a small girl with white hair and white eyes, and was wearing a white small dress. In contrast, the boy who was yelling at her, Kuro, dressed in all black.
They both looked like young teenagers by the way.
“But... we are having budgeting problems...” Shiro talked back, “We cannot afford hiring Truck-kun..."
“What!? Budgeting!?” Kuro’s eyes shot open in disbelief. “Ey! Didn't you say that the money was enough? How could we now have budgeting problems!? And beside, isn’t Truck-obasan illeg—”
But Shiro didn’t let Kuro finish the sentence. “I KNOW!!!” she screamed at him.
“What? And do you know that you got the wrong person? We were supposed to capture a Weaboo NEET! And this one... He doesn’t even watch anime!”
Note: Bob didn't say "Nani!?" at chapter 1. The worthless Weaboo NEET said it while watching Bob getting mashed into potatoes. Truck-Obasan was hired by Shiro to kill the Weaboo when he went outside to buy cup noodles, but as she was old and was retired long ago, she made a terrible mistake...
“I KNOW!” Shiro shouted back at Kuro's face again!

“SO WHY?”
“LIKE I SAID! OUR MONEY WAS NOT ENOUGH!”
Hearing that, Kuro’s brows furrowed. “What?” he then moved closer to Shiro and looked straight into her eyes. “Not enough?” he asked again.
“Y-yes…” Shiro gulped.
“Really?”
…
“Yes…”
But then, Kuro noticed something... There was little anime figure, not unboxed, standing on top of Shiro’s personal desk.
“Wait a minute…” Kuro murmured and moved closer to the desk. “This one…”
“Eeeeeehh…?” Shiro couldn’t understand what caught Kuro’s attention, but as she turned back and noticed the figure…
FEAR.
Kuro’s veins popped on his forehead. It was ...
...a dragon loli figure!
“SHIRO!!!” Kuro shouted! “YOU USED ALL OF THE GOT DAMN MONEY ON ANIME FIGURES AGAIN!?”. He was very, very, very mad!
Shiro said nothing and her eyes started to produce water.
“COME ON!” Kuro screamed. His voice changed to a deep and terrifying demonic voice and his fangs now revealed.
Kuro launched himself forward, reaching to grab the figure.
Shiro moved. “NO!!!” she shouted and launched herself at Kuro to stop him! “DON’T TOUCH KANNY CHAN!!!”
“LET! GO! OF! ME!” Kuro tried to kick Shiro away, but the girl’s grab was too strong. It seemed like she would rather die than let go of his legs.
However...
Shiro was small so she ended up being dragged on the white floor.
Kuro then picked the box containing the figure up and some reason, his hand started shaking.
“What... the hell!? Is… Is this a real … diamond!?”
“Ye— No!” Shiro denied. “Nooo! It’s a fake! A fa--”
“OH MY GOD!!!”
“Nooooooo!!!” Shiro screamed and cried!
“We need money!” shouted Kuro. “Go sell this garbage and get us some money back!!!”
“No way! Not Kanny-chan the Limited Edition version Galaxy Blink blink!”
“Yes! You! Have! To!”
“Noooooooooooooooo!!!”
Well, in the end, in order to get money and fix things...
...Kanny-chan the Limited edition...
...was no more.

Trickster's Tale
Be careful when demanding reparations from gods. They rarely own up to their mistakes. Due to a goddess's shortsighted error, Perry finds himself transported to a distant Universe with new proportions and a different identity. Instead of cowering before the deity, he demands she opens a portal home or provides reparations for him and his bereaved family. Unfortunately, standing up for himself doesn't earn Perry respect. Instead, she curses him with cowardice, limiting his combat and magical potential. Little does the goddess know that nothing can stand in the way of Perry's sheer will. If brute strength and arcane might won't get him the justice he desires, wit and creativity will. Perry's first target? A goblin shaman. Then, the world. And so begins, the bard's ballad. Trickster's Tale (Book 1): Is That A Lute In Your Pocket will release on Kindle Unlimited on the 10th of May.Due to KU's exclusivity rules, I've had to take most of book 1 down.Book 1 Bard's Ballad takes place in the same extended Universe as my other story, The Houndsman. It's set on a distant 'disk', though. As a result, the magic system is unique in comparison and has a harder LitRPG system. While the story utilises stats, it doesn't take them seriously and occasionally makes fun of regular LitRPG mechanics.
