《I'm not evil, trust》Chapter 13- just remember this is necessary

"Why are we walking?" Miss Booth asked for the eighth time. Yet, I laughed but I stopped the moment I felt several people running towards me.
I day felt but it was more like I heard them follow by me catching an updraft of the prey. The only safety net around us was a store with a ruin glass front.
Fine, I guess I would show off a little. I held up my fist which only Miss Booth got. But she stopped the rest and pulled the others aside as I formed a bow out of grey light that was a mixture of dark and light elements.
I held an arrow for a moment as the troops ran with all their life. I caught sight of the first beast that I didn't even recognize but I took aim and let loose. Forming another one after another. Putting eight grey lights into the air that perfectly hit their targets.
The bull like wolves slammed face first into the ground without an ounce of noise. The troops stumbled to a stop but took off running as one of them rose to its feet. Sadly, I had enough energy for six more. Arrow went through its other eye and it sag back down.
I gave it a few minutes before not seeing them rise again before dismissing my chi.
"Okay, let's go."
"I thought you were a shifter?"
I shrugged at Miss Booth's question as the troops rushed towards us.
"Thank you for the help. Are you going back to the safe zone?" I assumed the leader asked.
"Sure."
I walked past him and crouched down beside one of the bulls' things. I conjured a knife and began cutting a large slab of meat which I roasted on the spot.
"Isn't that going to bring more of them over?" The troop leader asked.
I just ignore him as I pig out on two of the eight creatures. Once I was full, we began the March again.
"Can we take a break?" The same man asked again.
"Do you."
That didn't mean we stopped, it just meant he could if he wanted to. However, I ended up freezing several blocks from my destination. There were vibrations under my feet and the air felt heavy.
I lick my suddenly dry lips and look around before spotting a basement half buried. I rushed to it and cleared the rubbed, transforming my hand asbi inscribed crude runes into the cement. The moment I felt the magic lock in place, I turned around.
"Get your asses inside now!" I couldn't believe they were still standing on the street watching me.
Miss Booth dragged her daughter in while the twins rushed in first. I did not wait on the others as the footsteps got loud enough to shake the foundation.
Frowning, I stared at the roof that didn't seem well supported. Studying the layout, I quickly began to make columns as dust dropped from the ceiling.
"What's going on, Lon?" Miss booth asked as she stared at the roof.
Ignoring her, I prepared to flee at any second. However, someone blessed us up above as the tremors vanished and my heart came back.
I ran hand through my hair and dropped on my ass. Zach wanted to go outside to rescue people. That boy better be glad he died inside that other world.
"Lon?"
Rubbing my head, I looked around the storage room. There were a bunch of food products and water.
"Why can't you shut up? Isn't it obvious what happened?" I snapped while standing up. I didn't dare to go back out through the door. That kind of creature was like what bitch slapped me.

"I'm sorry but had I known such a creature like that was roaming outside. I wouldn't have even bothered coming." I wiped the sweat off my brow and started pulling a random bed from nearby.
Exchanging the old sheets with clean sheets, I pop down. Everybody huddles around me as if waiting for instructions.
"Stop hanging over my bed. Make yourself at home, you won't be leaving until that thing creates a new nest." I yawned and thought about putting curtains up to block out their stupid faces.
Having the thought, I put it into action. The soldiers went to catalog what they had to eat. The twins acted without any shame and joined me behind the thick drapes. Not long the sound of their moans rang out.
***
"Do you think he is really going to take us out?" Sabrina asked while holding her knees.
Her mother's face twisted into a frown, "what reason does he want to help you? When you can't even show a hint of loyalty? To be honest, I am going to have to leave you behind someday. Why not now?"
Sabrina looked at her mother and then the curtains. "Why are you acting like this now?"
"Because I realize, I let you waste your golden ticket to whatever life you were going to live for a dumbass jock. Who is useless and you don't even have the dignity to figure out why he won't save you."
"He slept with others, why can't i?"
"Because you always told him, you were looking for better men. What do you expect?"
"Okay, but that doesn't mean He can sleep around."
Jessica booth look at her daughter like she was stupid. She then turned to the soldiers who were shepherding up food.
Jessica stood up the moment the curtain moved and Lon walked out with a smile. He pulled out chairs and grilled out of thin air. Then vanished a second later.
The twins walked out as they fixed their clothes and sat down.
"What did he say?" Jessica said.
"He is going to grab something to eat and some comfort items." Shae said after sitting down slowly.
***
I hunted down a lone boar like an animal, skinned it, gutted it, and brought it back. I hung it up by its tail and began cutting little slices off it.
"Okay, I will only be able to take three of you away. Twins, of course, are coming. The question is, are you?" I asked miss Booth while flipping the meat.
She looked at her daughter before sighing. "Yeah, I'm ready."
Nodding, I threw a last look at Sabrina before crushing her in my heart. We had a great night eating and then I began to jump back to the community.
I only felt safe in my home where the smell of promises were the highlight.
***
Before the dawn bell rang, I felt a sense of heaviness. I sat up and ignored the complaints of Miss Booth as I climbed out of bed. Instead I rushed outside to the portal, where I saw a new one growing.
Remy looked at me with a confused smile. "This feels different than the first. I think it might be an intelligent species."
I nodded as the shifters and mages flooded in. "It smells like you are right."
Remy nodded and retreated behind the new safety barriers.
Everybody watched as the portal fully opened and nothing came out. We waited until the sun rose but nothing came out.

Biting my lip, I ran into the portal. My eyes took in the surrounding but other than an open valley, nothing was nearby. It was grass for miles out and I wasn't optimistic about flying up. So I returned.
"Remy, you can start."
I went back to bed. I would be able to hear gunfire if it happened.
Miss Booth walked out the bathroom after I crawled back into bed. "So are you going to go get Sabrina or drop her off somewhere."
The covers draped over my head and I ignored the bothersome person. She lifted the covers up and began kissing her way up my back.
"Please." She repeated it all the way to my ear.
Sighing, I rolled over. "I'll go bring her food later but I'm not risking my neck for someone that made their choice."
"Stop acting like a bitch. She made a mistake. Not like you haven't before."
I grabbed her hair and pushed her down until she started licking me.
"Do you think that you are fine enough to make me want to save your daughter? Or maybe you think I can't replace her?" I dragged her up and put her on her knees.
Most of the time, I respect my partners but she annoyed me. So I treated her like a sex toy then left her in pain while I crawled into bed with one of the twins, shae or mae. Even though, I wasn't going to fuck them, they were comfortable skinny girls to sleep with.
Midday, I tried something new. I went to the plaza for lunch and hung around the park. Low key creeping. Somehow Miss Murphy found me but I wasn't in the mood for sex. I felt fatigue in my soul for some reason. Yet, she was like a silent companion as we watched the Midday clouds while soaking in our own sweat.
Her watch beeps and we both rose to leave. I made a point of passing by her stalker and giving him a kind warning.
By the time I walked to the portal, there was a new crew patrolling under a large overhang. Shadows covered the area which gave me a large room to maneuver if needed.
I message my team that went adventuring with me before plus the connection to the mage group.
Lol! Evie new Alpha sent her which was just outright bullying but it was a dumb decision. She was just allowing her rival to strengthen herself now that she didn't have so much on her plate. Though, I was surprised jade also showed up.
"Did Tony lead a team in? I smell his fishy ass." I asked one of the shift guards.
"Yes sir! He led all his enforcers in." The guy reported and I patted his shoulder while slipping him a vial of dragon wine. He smiled as he returned to his post.
I wasn't worried about Tony as I would have been for land shifters as most of Tony's team were large animals to begin with. With all but two different types of sharks. The other two were a giant squid and a whale. They were absolutely in their element as long as they remembered my words about the territory lords.
The mages were led by someone I was familiar with, a college professor by the name of Dr. Charles. No idea his first name but I am sure if his hair falls out, people will be calling him Xavier Charles.
"Mr. Winters, I brought ten mages to assist you." He said with a weird smile.
I grasped his forearm one day and brought him into a bear hug just because I was bigger.
"This time, I might only need you to do manual labor like mine ore. But feel free to assist in combat where you see fit."
He nodded, "that sounds great. We don't have much combat experience but we can definitely assist with mining operations. I just need to know, do we need anything other than basic necessities?"
"No, we will hunt for food and only be there a month. Most of that is travel. Also, we will be sleeping mostly out in the open. So don't put out tents because they will help you die."
He cringed but nodded and went to relay things to his people. Nobody backed out so I led us in. I had an inkling of where a large ore deposit was located.
The mages definitely wouldn't be able to keep up with us in shifter form but the wise mages made a sled. Which I pulled as the biggest and because I flew just below tree level. The three other birds flanked me while the land types ran below us.
We made it to the cave and camp out. Like a pack of animals we were, they transitioned into their lustful nature. Though, I can't blame them as it is stressful being on alert all the time without being able to rest completely.
Evelyn and Jade double teamed me while Evie sat against a wall training. What a studious soul.
After satisfying the Alphas, I secretly drank some dragon wine before swaggering about. I found Dr. Charles standing near the mouth of the cave with a cig.
"You guys really are one of a kind." He joked.
"You just see it easy after having experienced elites guiding you. It's harder on those of us who actually experienced the terror of these ancient creatures. Definitely when you can feel the breath of the lord."
"Oh, what do you mean?"
"The heavy feeling on your body that you think is gravity is actually just the physical pressure from the lord of the region."
That shocked him into silence.
"You don't have to worry. Like how I think you are too weak to eat, it feels the same way. You are just another bothersome ant in its territory. I am the one that needs to feel fear. I'm big enough to be lunch and it already shows that if I slack up, it would definitely eat me."
Dr. Charles nodded but he didn't smoke anymore as he looked out at the peaceful surroundings. The large trees and high grass was kind of nice. Yet, there were dangers lurking in the softly swaying grass. Snakes that had bodies long and large enough to take down t rexes. Felines that were so fast that even god would praise their excellent kills. Sadly, they were just the obvious threats that only felt subtle.
I was sure that further inland, the plants would not be so kind as to let us trample them.
We cut the chit chat and I went to ease some of Evie tension but I cum on her as a show of difference in status. Then went to cuddle with my two Alphas as we caught early zzz's.
It took us four days to find a hill with ore veins beneath it. Though it was only copper and tin, that was still very good.
However, two weeks in the mages found an odd mineral that they said was better than titanium. Almost three tons worth. Plus forty tons of iron and other necessary ore for basic infrastructure.
So in the end we ended up spending four months inside. Another two months transporting the ore out.
***
After a two day break, I sat inside catching up on news of the outside world. And unlike how we were getting stronger, a lot of evolvers died by the tens. Giving that across the world, the first generation could only account for two percent of the population. And that was before the various governments cracked down on them.
Later, a lot more perished under the claws of animals that were a lot harder to kill for standard weaponry. Now that intelligent species that were considered the nemesis of humans have walked out of portals from medieval times, well damn.
This just had me curious, why weren't we attacked? Did the world we get also have a portal to somewhere else but closer? Or were they at war and didn't have time to play with us?
I grabbed my phone and watched a clip of Evie challenging her alpha and losing. I had to give it to her but Evelyn already figured out how to project her chi using different elements. Nobody was going to top that panther who had a taste of being on top and seemed to enjoy it.
Weeks went by like a fallen star, yet nothing for me changed much. I mean, I still got to live like a playboy pornstar. Didn't even have to go around confessing my love either.
Yet, as I sat on the bench listening to birds chirp and winds rustle leaves like kids playing tag. I couldn't help feeling how soft I was. The world outside of my bubble was nothing but a discordant chaotic symphony.
I stretch my feet out and look at the woman who has been accompanying me. She silently sat beside me even though her stalkers have long since left.
"Miss Murphy, you know this stalking thing you're doing is kind of annoying." I started out our first conversation since then.
"I'm just making myself available. It's what my husband likes.."
"You mean before or after?"
"I don't know what you mean."
"Lets go to your car then."
She shrugged and stood up. I followed her while watching a number of unidentified objects follow me very poorly. I sent out a message to go collect them while I stepped into the van.
Half way through my stroke game, I received a message that they were captured and sitting in my basement. Which reminded me we needed a warehouse or something.
Miss Murphy looked into my eyes as I hovered over her. One hand grazing her tone calf, I hesitate whether or not to head out now or after. Mm, after a second thought, I kept going.
My mind wanted me to go the moment I climax inside of her but my body was so comfortable in her arms that we made out for minutes until she pushed me away. Yet, I was still attracted to her pink lips.
"You can go if you want." But why didn't she sound like she wanted me to leave?
"Do you want to talk?" I asked as I leaned on my elbow and drew circles on her stomach.
She shook her head and I entangled my hands through her curly locks. Easing off her, I drop to the side and drape her thigh over me.
"We can stay like this if you want?" I said as I gently scratched her scalp.
Her eyes misted up and I pulled her into my chest where the first woman I knew broke down. I, honestly, had no idea what to do other than hold her.
Yet, after all that anguish subsided, she climbed into my lap, and showed me how much she cared for my help?
As I walked through the hardware store, I couldn't help remembering the way those tear stain lips suck on mine. The way her nails dug into my chest when she hit that high. Her body, her soul and spirit, all moved differently.
The way she mixed her pain with her motions, sigh.
I pull out barb wire, blow torch, battery, and jumping cables. The clerk gave me a weird look as he rang it up. I almost didn't even know how I ended up home but I got my head into the game upon seeing Jake.
"They are downstairs. Didn't want to spill their secrets but I guess you have a plan?" Jake asked as he looked at the bags in my hands.
Chuckling, I walked on down with him. "I always wanted to try torturing someone."
Jake gave me an odd look as we walked past the brewing equipment and the cellar filled with caskets. The guys bold enough to follow me were just the average cia stooges. I could guess why they even tried it. Kidnapping me might seem like a good idea to people used to being stupid.
I dropped the bags and pulled out the barb wires. I began unraveling them as I randomly picked a person. Every step and movement of my hands had the guy's eyeing following. His throat seems to bob up and down a few times.
"I might have watched too many movies. So a lot of this might be unnecessary but good news. You can always start talking before I stop talking." I chuckled as I began wrapping the barb wire over my fist. It couldn't pierce my skin but that might not be the same for others.
The wrinkles around the man's eyes deepened but he tried to sit very relaxed as if he was unconcerned.
"I watched this one movie where someone did this but he used his jacket to block the barbs. My friend you seem to be a warrior good at camouflage skills. Do you think your pain tolerance is better than that protagonist?"
The man took a breath and I hit dead in the chest. The look on face was outstanding. The way his eyes bugged out and his lips shot open like he wanted to curse.
Laughing, I glance at the other guys. "Okay, so the movies leave a lot out. Like the way his eyes pop out and shit. I mean, walking dead achieves this but other action films can't?"
I hit him again and I heard his chest crack. He couldn't hold the grunt in or the curse after.
I clicked my tongue. "Sorry, first time torturing someone."
"Fuck.. y.."
I wack him again and this time my fist slid down his chest as one side sunk in. The barbs caught in the weirdest way and that scream was hella painful to the ears.
"Honestly, I have a much easier way to get info out of you guys but then I wouldn't be able to do this."
My fist hit the guy's face and skin on his face scrape off as my fist walked on by. I shook off the strands of flesh.
"That was kind of nasty. But did you see the way his eyes popped?"
I hit him again and he screamed and flinched away from the pain so hard that his chair tipped over.
"Why are you so insane?" One of the guys spoke out after seeing the teeth of his friend from the cheek.
"Well, it's because I'm a black dragon." I knelt down and went to town on the poor sucker. His head burst worse than the redhead from the walking dead. It was almost a nauseating sight.
Slowly rising, I tried to wipe off the blood, flesh, and brain matter from my face. Who knew it was harder than picking hair out of your noodles.
Jake handed me a wet towel and it definitely worked better.
"Okay, that was pretty bloody. Let's try something else." I began unwrapping the barbed wire.
"I am sure you guys all know about the blow torch scenes. Very crude but painful. As a black dragon, I roasted a ton of things with fire but only after they are dead. You see the things I hunt, the smell of blood is already powerful. The smell of roasted meat would be worse but here?" I tossed the wire down and motioned to the basement.
Laughing, I grabbed the blow torch and randomly picked a guy with good hair.
"Before I start, do you maybe want to talk? Confess a few sins?" I chuckled as I grabbed his hair and pulled his head back.
"Wait!" The guy said with much more fear than the last guy.
I motioned for him to speak and he did.
"We were sent by the agency to figure out how you guys resisted the rifts. But we could not get close, so the boss asked us to kidnap an upper echelon. We thought you were just an office jockey."
Sighing, Let go of his hair and toss the blow torch into a corner.
"Well damn, you ruin my fun.
Remy messaged me something interesting. His mage friends found that the elves and humans in that world were at war with orcs and trolls. It was prime time to go investigate.
Yet, responsibilities also called, my new mayor wanted to come to her office. I decided to rush over and handle all that shit before going to check out what resources I could sponge off the other world.
The mayor office was hella hectic. Every desk I walked past had stacks of papers on top. My mayor was no less messy. It made me wonder what all the previous mayor failed to do.
"Oh, thank God. I have a list of refugees that need approval and several cases that need a higher authority." She said while moving around several folders.
I walked behind her and began massaging her shoulders. She instantly began to relax and enjoy my crude touch. When I backed away, she handed me two files color coded red.
Most of the shifter vs mundane issues revolve around refugee women thinking they are clever. Then complaining when shkt doesn't go their way. Of course, there were a few serious problems that really needed to be handled.
Like a wife beater or man beater. Couple problems that extended to neighborhood problems. As for the refugees, they look useful. So I gave them all a pass and yawned.
"Okay, my job is done. Keep up the good work."
"Wait, I don't get any sexy alpha time?"
That brought me up to a halt but I changed my mind after seeing her body type. Yes, I was being judgemental but I had a type. It's not a bad thing, yeah?
"To be fair, you aren't really my type."
"Why should I care about your type? I have all this work to do and no time to find someone to help me relinquish stress. Least you can do after dumping a load of crap in my lap is to give me stress relief."
My eyebrows shot up, "you volunteered for the job."
"Who knew that there are only 436 shifters, 63 mages, and over 1400 regular humans. Obviously, the mayor's duties elsewhere aren't as much as here."
I wouldn't know but she could be right. After all, how could they have scandals if they had a busy schedule?
Fine, I closed the door and she stood up, unbuttoning her top like she had breasts or something. I just turned her to the table behind her, bent her over, and helped her climax a couple times before leaving.
