After I learned my affinities, I meditate all the time and yes I became a Ekugaleni Dewin but the problem is I can’t reach the next rank no matter how many time I meditate. I approached Eliah and asked him about the Ekugaleni and some other stuff that I am confused.

“Eliah! You told me few months ago that I became a Ekugaleni, what is an Ekugaleni? I asked.

He touched his chin and said, “It is just a rank. The lowest rank is the Ekugaleni” The ranks are as follows:

Rank 1 – Ekugaleni

Rank 2 – Isibini

Rank 3 – Tredje

Rank 4- Owesine

Rank 5- Pumed

Rank 6 – Kefa

Rank 7 – Seithfed

Rank 8- Sibhozo

Rank 9 – Isithoba

Rank 10 – Ishumi

“Again we have three classes if you can remember we have Dewin for magic user, Igorha for sword, shield users and Umtoli for range attacker and dual wielder. So when it comes to title, you would be an Ekugaleni Dewin” Eliah explained.

“So How did you know that I ranked up”, I asked.

“Simple, you are emitting your energy. You need to learn how to hide it. I am sorry that I can’t help you for that. This is the extent of my knowledge and I doubt my children can help you since both of them are Igorha. “ Eliah explained.

I went outside the house and saw Revon practicing sword swing. I sat on one of the lumber and watch him swinging such huge sword. The sword is about one meter long. I think it is made of copper because of the colour. It seems like Revon , is at least 6 feet and 2 inches tall. He got military crop hair, dirty blond and violet eyes. They have similar features with the old guy. He also have similar features with his sister except that his sister is 5 feet and 7 inches tall.

“wew! that was tiring! so Eloah! How you holding up!” he asked and smiled.

“ I am good, but can I asked you a question in relation to your class”, I asked.

“Shoot”, he responded.

“ Does your class have similar affinity as mine”. I asked.

“ Not really, although we have the same ranking naming but my class don’t have the nature affinity. According to my father as he explained few months ago, almost all of us has the affinity which is correct but it does not mean that those who have a nature affinity will become a Dewin. Most of our affinity will be gone at the age of 1-2 years of age. That is why one must test at the age 3.” Revon explained then he sat down beside me.

“So what is the equivalent of affinity in your class” I asked.

“Oh, we called it stance”. He smiled then continues to explain. “Stance is derived from your fortitude and will. The stance is only applicable to Umtoli and Igorha. We have several stances widely acknowledge by the three continents and the kingdoms within it.

If my understanding is correct, he said that their class have offensive, defensive. Support and Style difficulty will base on 1-10, 1 as the less in support and easiest in terms of style difficulty and 10 as the highest support and highest style of difficulty. These are:

“Unlike Dewin, my class does not borrow anything from the surroundings; instead it came from our belief, experience, fortitude and will.” Revon explained.

“What about me? I mean I got 100% of both classes why am I then? I asked.

“ You can be called by either. In early rank ,the nature energy will negate the will energy or vice versa that is why for the first 3 rank you can't use stance and magic at the same time but 3 or 4 ranks and above you can simultaneosly use it but I only heard it from my master.” Revon explained then he stands up and continues to swing his sword.

During the evening, we were sitting around the table while Silva was preparing for food. Again the food is just bread and vegetable soup without taste.

“ Silva where have you been”. I asked

“ I went to gather some fruits, herb for today’s dinner”, she casually said it while sipping.

“Aren’t you afraid that the assassin might find you”, I concernedly asked

“Don’t worry Eloah, she will not be caught. The one with assassin marks was my master and me so both my children are safe, Eliah responded with a smile.

“Where did you buythe flour? I curiously asked since I saw her baking a bread.

“ I usually go the nearest town, that would be 4 days by horse”, Silva sounded irritated. Do you want more father? Brother?

Both of them said no thanks.

“Why are you not eating?”, Silva questioned them.

“Because your food is bland," I casually said it. It seems like they have been eating this crap for quite long time.

“YOU! ungrateful bastard! Can you even cook?," she smirked and then she said the I can use the kitchen.

Eliah is sighing while Revon is grinning then he laugh.

I stand up and went to the kitchen. I use a wooden stall and step on it, so that the kitchen table will level at my waistline. I checked all the ingredients, all I can see are tons of herbs, eggs, flour and a fruit that looks like dates. I tried to taste it and surprisingly it taste sweet, it almost as sweet as pineapple honey. I place two cups of off white flour. It seems like the flour has tons of impurity in it. I broke two eggs and mixed it along with the flour. I chopped 5 pieces of the dates like fruit and mix it along with the flour and egg. I saw a wooden cup with a block of white stuff; the texture is a bit greasy. This must be lard, then I smile.

I placed eight pancakes on the table.

“What the hell is that? a failure”, Silva smirked.

“ Why don’t you taste it first before you comment”, I calmly said it.

All of us ate in silence. Silva ate two pieces, Eliah ate two, me one piece and Revon ate three pieces.

“I am speechless! It was delicious! Eliah exclaimed.

“ I want to eat more! Revon acting like a child then he licks his entire plate.

Silva’s eyes are a bit cloudy. It seems she will about to cry.

“ I will give you the recipe”, I said.

“ Hmp! I will accept it since you force me to” Silva said it arrogantly.

“It is so rare that sis acknowledge her loss!”, Revon exclaimed then he laugh.

Brute guy throws the bag with the old man’s head in it in front of a well dress guy. “Where is my reward?

The well dressed guy went to the chest and grabs a pouch and handed it to the brute guy. The Brute guy checks his reward and frown. “ Are you joking?, this not price that we agreed on.

“Of course it is not! Where is the head of his servant? I will only you pay you in full if you eliminate those shit!” said the angry well dressed man.

“sigh....okay but I may need a Dewin for this. It seems like they are hiding with my line of sight and I just can’t figure where. My guts is telling me that I am just running in circles lplus the mark is pulsating nearly but all I see is grassland” The brute man explained.

“ I will triple your pay, just eliminate him”, then the well dressed went to bed together with two nude women.
