《I Am The World》Chapter 4: The First Incarnation Is A Successful Battle Maniac

It was time.
I had to make an incarnation to make sure nothing was going wrong as of now.
Of course, the incarnation was definitely not getting any info, power or any such thing; it was purely an incarnation in name.
I set everything to random, except the appearance (well, I'm sorry for wanting to look good) and descended.
Third Person POV
Zilo was excited.
He had been born and brought up in the city of Ferna, one of the Seven Great Cities. Each of the Great Cities had been built near a Dungeon Entrance. Of course, that was within the Kingdom of Ost. There were other Kingdoms, too, but since Gods couldn't rule, they had long lost the drive to rule. Not to mention, the members of Orders couldn't rule either. It was a rule established by the Guild.
No one knows who established the Guild - only that it is an extremely powerful organization which could destroy a kingdom without breaking a sweat. Especially since it could order around members of Orders, commonly known as Adventurers.
The reason Zilo was excited was because today was the day he could finally get a Vilia. Vilia was the ability given to humans by Gods to grow stronger at a much faster rate. Now, no one is allowed to enter the Dungeon without an I.D., and the Guild doesn't issue I.D.'s to those without Vilia.
Zilo had been studying Combat from his father, who was an ex-adventurer that had lost both his arms during a confrontation with the 20th floor boss. He had not been part of any Order. In fact, the casualties of that battle is what pushed the Guild to put up such a restriction.
At any rate, Zilo went to each Order, but unfortunately, no Order was willing to take him in. He roamed 70 orders, and yet, none of them chose him. When he snapped at a God in his despair, the kind God shook his head, and looked at the boy who had just turned into a man in front of him.

"Well, I guess I should tell you." The God had a pitying look on his face. "You innate Magic Stat isn't high. In fact, it is extremely low. Since giving a Vilia to someone is extremely draining, we tend to take only those who meet minimum requirements. A pity, really, considering your physical stats are quite high. Not to mention you're still at the perfect age."
Zilo had zoned out most of the conversation. He couldn't learn skills?
He somehow felt really angry.
'Who are they to determine I can't get skills? I'll show them - there's no way I can never get a skill.'
His eyes grew fiery. 'I won't accept defeat. Never in a hundred years.'
And finally, there was a goddess who took pity on him. She was a fledgling goddess, having only 3 members in her Order, but she took him in nevertheless. And this proved to be the decision that changed her entire life - for the better.
"Yaah!"
Zilo roared as he slashed three more Jofts.
He had already reached Level 2 from Level 0 - it had only been a month, a feat that no one had accomplished in the past. His overwhelming combat prowess at such a young age only further solidified this.
He had finally gone down to the 5th floor today. It was a free day; a day when the members usually went window shopping. Yet, here he was, killing more and more monsters.
And worse, something went wrong - in mere moments, he was caught up in a rare Monster Tide. Such Tides happened occasionally, usually when large numbers of monsters were respawned in a short time.
"Dammit!" Zilo cursed out. Unfortunately, it didn't help in any way.
All he could do was run. And hope that someone would save him.

Or fight to the death.
The former was looking real sweet right about now, but he knew that rationally, he shouldn't make that decision.
'Monsters fill the whole floor during a monster tide, so where would I run? The path upstairs is always cut off by the monsters!'
So it was option 2. Fight to the death.
'Looks like I can get to level 4. Prolly be the person to stay at level 4 for the least time, since I can't Update.'
Every level, there'd be some sort of extra power you get. For example, the last level gave him an ability, 'Wide Field.'
It was a passive that would make sure his view wouldn't be limited to the front. It added 30 degrees on each side to the original view. Perfect for him, since he had a near-270 degree view. Kudos to his dad, who taught him to always keep his eyes open. Watching a guy over 10 levels ahead of you flitting in and out kicking every part of your body kinda made for good training.
…Although it didn't make for a pleasant experience.
He with his field now covering a total of 330 degrees, he only had to worry about continuously moving, and he wouldn't get his blind side attacked.
Suddenly, he felt an intense pressure from behind him.
'Bloodlust.'
A moment was all it took for him to roll away before a giant fist slammed into the ground.
'Yeah, I'd get pancaked in there. By the way, it's been over a year since I ate some. Should go and get some from Marla's.'
He shook his head, getting back into focus. 'Reminisce later. Focus for now.'
He lowered his stance, making space for his sword.
'First Law of Combat: Keep you center of Gravity as low as possible. Second Law: Make sure you can swing you weapon.'
Because the Dungeon had all sorts of spaces, the ability to use anything as a weapon had been drilled into him.
Having a battle-maniac for a dad could actually be helpful sometimes.
He then lashed out from the ground at the nearest Rabbit. He kicked it from underneath, before turning around and slashing in a wide arc while he regained his balance, wiping out 2 Rabbits that jumped him. He then ducked and rolled, coming up while stabbing the sword into a Dog.
All this took exactly 2 seconds. No more, no less.
One end of his lips raised in a lopsided smirk, he sheathed his sword and took out a knife. It was much better suited for close quarters, although it meant that he'd have to move much more.
'I can't believe I'm actually excited.'
He licked his lips as he looked at the hundreds of monsters surrounding him.
'A chip never falls far off from the block, huh?'
