Only internal energy can defend against such a strike. Since the robots didn’t possess internal energy, thus the result. But that skill uses a lot of Ki”

D:”Ok he finished off the robots but he looks too tired and he just let his guard down. Rookie mistake that. I don’t think he’ll survive the surprise barrage”

T:”Don’t be so sure, kid has surprised us time and again”

D:”Did you just see that! He reacted even before the guns fired! And that looks like armor of some kind!”

T:”OK the kid obviously has great senses and also knows multiple techniques of Ki utilization. It’s decided. This kid is gonna be my successor. It’s not every day that I come across talents of such magnitude.”

T:”Don’t project yourself on him. I think he will wait to do a counter. Though I don’t know how he is planning to take them out knives. Robots don’t have vitals where a single stab can kill”

D:”Meh going with a bang was a good idea too”

T:”But now he is all exhausted and I don’t think he will be able to keep moving. Too bad that he will have to fail after coming this far”

D:”Yes first time I see someone without training almost complete this test at the highest difficulty”

Finally they watch him come out the door, smile at them and faint. They honestly didn’t believe he would make it hence were wearing shocked faces.

After Logan fainted in front of them, they first healed it, forced him to drink some water and laid him on a bed to rest.

After 4 hours,

Logan starts waking up from his sleep. He groggily opens his eyes and stares at an unfamiliar ceiling. He then looks around and surmises that he was being kept in a medical room.

Logan slowly tries remembering what happened and it all comes back to him. He feels pleased for completing the test though angry at the instructor for not giving him a heads up.

He saw some fruits lying in a basket beside him and stated eating a fruit that looked suspiciously like an apple. But it tasted like a banana. Looks like the developer liked to mess around with the players.

Logan decided to take stock of the situation and opened all the notifications that had piled up during the test. They were mostly stat increases and skill improvements.
