Adam and the bearded man watched as Dean ran towards the door and walked towards the light.

“When are you going to tell him the truth?” the bearded man asked.

Adam smiled, “When he completes his trial.”

The bearded man stroked his beard, “I remember my trial, what a terrible thing it was.”

“Yeah, your trial went down in history, Arthur.”

“That’s King Arthur to you.” The bearded man began to laugh as Adam just smiled.

Dean opened his eyes to the same scene he has seen before. Without a second to spare, Dean got up and ran towards the hooded figure. He tackled the hooded figure and took the remote out of their hands. The hood came off the figure, revealing that it was the girl from the alley the one with Walter. The eyeshadow running alongside her tears caused a chill to run down his spine. ‘What the hell is going on?’ Dean thought. He unzipped the hoodie, revealing the bombs that were strapped to the girl’s chest.

Dean looked in the eyes of the girl as she mouthed the words “Save me.”

Dean looked at the bombs thoroughly before he figured out how to take them off. He noticed a lock was holding the bomb to the girl. ‘There we go,’ Dean thought as he pulled his revolver out from his dimensional storage. “Don’t move,” Dean said as he shot the lock, shattering the mechanism inside. He ripped the bomb off of the girl and ran towards the street. Dean didn’t notice it, but all of the civilians were watching him with frightened stares and panicked running. Dean laid out the bomb on the street just in time to see the military vehicles pulling into the plaza. They noticed Dean as he ran away with the remote in his hand. The soldiers didn’t notice it, but they parked near the bomb that Dean had planted. Dean smiled as he pressed the button and watched the soldiers go up in a fiery explosion. For those that survived Dean shot them in the head with his revolver.

He picked up one of the mana rifles and examined it; it closely resembled some sort of futuristic gun from the sci-fi movies Dean watched. Dean turned around to see the crowd of people staring at Dean anxiously, it was all part of his plan. “People of Edgewalker!” Dean yelled, “What are you doing? The people that are here to kill us are the Emperor’s army! You are sitting here like fish in a barrel for the enemy to hunt. They aren’t here to liberate us from war but to kill us. Instead of this being a simple battle, this is an act of terrorism on civilians. Why stand there when you can defend yourself! Stand with me against these terrorists!”

The crowd stood in silence before they simultaneously cheered and grabbed weapons from the dead soldiers on the ground. Dean smiled as he watched the people become warriors willing to protect themselves. Dean ran in a different direction than the people with Red in tow.

“Where are we going?” Red asked.

“I’m gonna try to ambush some of those troops,” Dean explained.

“Your speech was really good.”

Dean smiled, “Well I’m glad.”

Dean kept running until he appeared before a group of soldiers. They were busy fighting some of the townsfolk, so Dean took this opportunity and snuck up behind them. He grabbed one of the soldiers and threw him to the ground with all of his force. Dean raised his foot and curb-stomped the soldier, caving in his face. The other soldiers turned around, but it was already too late. Dean was already in the process of throwing a punch at another soldier. Dean’s fist collided with the soldier, turning the top of his skull to a bloody pulp. Blood dripped from the edges of Dean’s knuckle dusters as he kicked his leg towards another soldier. Instead of slamming his heel into the soldier’s head, as the soldier had predicted, Dean hooked the soldier’s head with the top of his foot and pulled the soldier towards him. Dean grabbed the soldier’s head and shoved his thumbs into the soldier’s eyes, gouging them out. He grabbed the eyeballs and flicked them at the last soldier. The soldier dodged the eyes as Dean took that moment to smash the soldier’s skull with a right hook, concaving the back of his skull. Dean groaned as the last soldier fell to the ground. “Shit,” Dean said, “I got blood on my suit. I just bought it too.”

The crowd standing in front of Dean was astonished by his skill. It gave them some hope, hope that they will win this fight. Dean turned his head around when he heard troops marching behind him. Dean was ready to fight but realized they weren’t the emperor’s army, it was the empress. The army was wearing black accented with red as their uniform with one woman standing in front of them. She looked like she was wearing a uniform from a general in WWII. Her long blonde hair flowed in the wind as her crimson eyes stared at the scene that was taking place. She slowly walked up towards Dean who slowly walked backward. The woman stopped walking just in front of Dean, her breath touching his face. She looked to be around 6’ 2”, but it was probably because her boots gave an extra 2 inches. “Name.” Her voice sounded rough but sweet at the same time. Dean pointed at himself and looked around. “Me?”

“Yes, you. What is your name?”

“Dean, Dean Ashford.” Dean’s breathing became heavy as the woman kept staring into his eyes.

“Did you kill these soldiers?” The woman asked as she looked at the dead bodies on the ground.

“Yeah.”

The woman smiled, then took a couple of steps back. “Good, I want you to keep doing that.” She turned around and walked back to the soldiers that she came herewith. She looked like she was giving orders before the troops began to march their way into the city.

“What if I don't want to?” Dean asked. The woman stopped talking and turned around.

“Hmmm, maybe I’ll just kill you.” The woman unsheathed her sword and calmly walked towards Dean.

“The only reason I wouldn’t follow your orders is that I don’t know who you are.”

The woman stopped walking. “Ahhh, then this will be easy. I am Cinderella, the empress of the South Grimm Empire.”

Dean’s eyes widened, ‘I didn’t think I would meet her already!’

Cinderella then started to walk towards Red. “You,” she said, “You’re the one who killed all the wolves, correct?”

Red nodded her head, making Cinderella smile. “Good, you can help the man who instigated it,” Cinderella said as she pointed at Dean. “I don’t know how you did it, but I wonder how much of this you planned.”

Dean nervously rubbed the back of his head. “I just went with the flow, I didn’t plan anything.”

Cinderella laughed, “You’re funny, what are you, a Joker?” She kept laughing and started to walk towards the battle, leaving Red and Dean astonished.
