《The Queen of School》Tyndall Quantic Soren
Advertisement
Tyndall Quantic Soren is a school for people with special powers, so they could learn to control them and to find possible positions on the secret side of the society of superhumans. The school is also known as "The Black and White school" since it is an elitist school, but also the acceptance requirements are really low, so if you have superhuman abilities you are eligible to enter but to get to the higher courses is absurdly difficult.
This institution has a really peculiar educational program. "They are a school focused on the sport and physical activities". Their educational system is based on the results they get in one of the two entrance examination:
The physical exam
>This is the exam that all the students take.
since:
-Is the easiest one
-Doesn't matter if you get a 1 in score you will stay in the school
-You can take it in group
The written exam
>This exam only exist because they have to have that kind of exam so they could call themselves a school, but almost nobody takes it.
since:
-It is the most complex and complicated exam in all the country
-To stay in the school you have to get at least 70
-Of all the people that dare to take it the exam only one person has been able to pass it
-Even if you pass it you would have the lowest place in the school
The division of the students is based on the social roles of a monarchy:
The "F" classroom Better known as the Commoners This group is the ones that got the worst grades in the physical exam or passed the written exam, but there has not been anyone to pass it until now, so they forgot about that. The class doesn't have any kind of privileges and have no access to the cafeteria nor the dormitories The classes are extremely simple The last place of the class takes the least liked job of the school and they are prohibited from leaving their job during school hours. The "E" classroom Known as the Knights This class obtained not very good grades but better than the F class The group have the privilege of staying in the dorms but in the oldest building and id only one big room for all the students The classes are simple The "D" classroom The Barons This class got grades around the 60s in the physical exam In this class, you get a better room, fewer people per room, divided by gender, and also they have limited access to the cafeteria The classes are average The "C" classroom The Earls This class got grades around the 70s in the physical exam This class get better rooms than the "Barons", only four people per room, and less limited access to the cafeteria The classes are a little above average The "B" classroom The Dukes This class got grades around the 80s in the physical exam This class get a bedroom for three people, better installations, and freely access to the cafeteria and to the majority of the menus The classes are complicated The "A" classroom The Princes This class got grades around the 90s in the physical exam This class gets a bedroom for two people, the rooms are like a five-star hotel, also they have complete access to the cafeteria and the menus The classes are advanced The "S" classroom The Kings Since the beginning of the school, ir has been occupied only by boys This class is only to the ones that got a perfect score in the physical exam This group has a dormitory for the class, and a one person room; also, they have their own cafeteria that is inside a greenhouse overlooking a lake. The food is made by professional chefs from all around the world The classes are extremely difficult

There are two for a student to get a better way of life:
Swear loyalty and do whatever a higher class student says. IF you are the first place in your class you have the opportunity to take an exam that if you pass it, you can ente4r the next class the next semester, but at the last place of that class.
However, the students always chose the first one since it is easiest one.

The Oresteia (Modernized)
All three of the great Greek Tragedians have written plays about the bloody chain of murder and revenge within the royal family of Argos. Yet theirs is in fact not a story of tragedy, but rather one of redemption. As they move from darkness to light, from rage to self-governance, from primitive ritual to civilized institution, their spirit of struggle and regeneration becomes an everlasting song of celebration to be heard throughout the ages. Forming a discourse set against the emergence of Athenian democracy out of a period of chaos and destruction, the Orestian plays are compelling stories of the tensions between our obligations to our families and the laws that bind us together as a society. In the beginning, we witness how a king’s decision to sacrifice his daughter and turn the tide of war inflicts lasting damage on his family, culminating in a terrible act of retribution. In the aftermath of regicide, we behold how a son must set out to avenge his father’s death by committing a most egregious sin. In the end, the sinner is tormented by supernatural powers that can never be appeased, but ultimately finds redemption and ends the curse on his house once and for all. Woven through all of this is the story of a friendship so close that it elevates itself to brotherhood - Where the blood of the covenant is shown to be indeed thicker than the water of the womb. In this very brief twelve-chapter modern rendition of the Orestian plays, I have chosen to place my focus mainly on the lives of the characters Orestes and his best friend Pylades. The chapters, each around 2000-2500 words, are split up evenly between them in first-person narrative. I hope that you will come to enjoy reading this heartwarming story, but more importantly, that you see how the conflicts portrayed in the story, whether human or institutional, are still much very relevant to our societies today. Note on Sources: The details of this story is very loosely based on The Oresteia by Aeschylus. And I mean very loosely. Other sources that I referenced for detail and inspiration are Mythology by Edith Hamilton, Electra by Sophocles, and Iphigenia in Tauris by Euripides. You may also find that I have quoted some of these works, and others (such as Shelley's Ozymondaeus), without citations (average of 1-2 such quotes per chapter). I did this because I do not have the ability to describe certain scenes nearly as well as some of those writers. If you read a particularly beautiful piece of prose here, chances are it's probably stolen lol. Also, I wrote this during the summer between my high school senior year and my college freshmen year. It was the summer of 2020, and being quarantined apparently gets my creative side out lol.
