A shadow walked into a pub; he was following someone. He had mastered the art of being seen but not heard and since shadows were quite common in these parts, nobody looked at him twice. He took a look at the other shadows around. None moved without their owner's permission which made him special.

A deity intervenes moments before the bombs explode, preventing the destruction of all life remaining on Earth.
