GMD Shipyard Corp. is located within the world-renowned Brooklyn Navy Yard and is the largest dry dock facility in New York City. The shipyard itself boasts three graving docks in addition to 1100′ of the wet berth and offers 24-hour operational capabilities.

Complementing the yard’s full-service machine, pipe, and valve shops is a professional staff of experienced marine fabrication and repair craftsmen.

Also, that is where the Nether Elite is. Their shipment arrived on time, as Noel promised it would. By their paperwork that Adrian had wisely taken from the meeting yesterday, the numbers matched up to the crates they were looking for. Scouring the area, they wasted little time finding the first container; crate number 0147.

Natalia and Ayeka unlocked the door and open the first container together. Adrian and Kayla turned on their flashlights to look inside only to find nothing but ruin. The crate was not empty, that’s for sure. However, with their discovery, they wish it was.

One by one, the original contents of the crates were gone and were replaced by a lifetime supply of dog and cat food. To make matters worse, one container even had scratching posts for cats and chew toys for dogs. And a dollop of whipped cream on the insult sundae was four comically large eating pet bowls engraved with all their names on the front to them, respectively.

Adrian went inside in one of the crates and tore open one of the cardboard boxes containing the dog food. She took one of the cans and examined it. She couldn’t help but find some humor into this, “how very thoughtful of them. Those cheeky bastards.”

“I… I guess N-noel was right after all…” Natalia relented.

“Now we know our next move, ladies. I want you all to meet up with his Majesty’s pet in the morning and let me know afterward,” Adrian announced.

“Cool, we get to see what his house looks like!” Ryoko being excited.

“Yeah, yeah, lucky us,” Natalia fretted.

As the Nether Elite take their leave of the shipyard, they are met with a few SUV trucks. Making an immediate stop, Killer Queen got out of one of the vehicles from the backseat and walked up to the Nether Elite with purpose.

Natalia was stunned by this, “what the hell are you doing here?!”

Not responding to Natalia’s question, she met with the Nether Elite face-to-face. It was about time somebody gave her answers. Natalia regrettably repeated herself, “MOTHERFUCKER! AREN’T YOU SUPPOSED TO BE DEAD!?”

The Killer Queen was breathing heavy, “What does it look like? Where’s the cargo?!”

To answer her question, Adrian tossed Shayna the can of dog food she was holding, “here you go, Killer Queen. Money well spent. So, what are we supposed to do with that?”

Examining the can of food, Shayna shrugs shoulders, “I don’t know. Go nuts with it. Why don’t you give it to your brother? I mean damn, he eats everything in front of him,” Afterward, she tossed it over to Ayeka as she instinctively caught it. However, Adrian didn’t take Shayna’s insults very lightly.

“Well, that’s what is inside the crates,” Adrian emphasized. “You know, a part of me actually had faith in you.”

Shayna scoffed, “Oh, faith in me? You should really talk. That’s why you told me to stay behind?”

“Yes, that’s why. If you are stupid enough to let one of your little actresses get herself killed and everyone else, then yes. Then again, you are dumb enough to get punked out by Xerxes.”

Shayna immediately had a coughing fit. She went through her jacket pocket to pull out her inhaler. She shook the inhaler and took two puffs from it, “the info was spot on. You knew I was good for it.”

“At a time, you were ‘good for it.’ But not anymore,” Adrian corrected.

Shayna always knew she was in great danger, dealing with the Nether Elite. It was only a matter of time before she made a mistake, and she would die for it, “What, you gonna a kill me now?”

Fortunately for Shayna, Adrian found humor in it, “like I said before: You are good for it. But not anymore.”

With those words, the Nether Elite left him behind. Not before Adrian gave Shayna some parting words, “it’s all yours, Shayna. You earned it.”

Walking to their sports car, the Nether Elite went in. Kayla decided to drive as Adrian rode shotgun, and Natalia and Ayeka rode in the backseat.

“So, the dead has risen again,” Natalia mocked.

“It wouldn’t surprise me if someone intercepted the info about the cargo on its way over here,” Ayeka suggested. “I’m betting the loadout crossed so many country lines and then landed into the United Kingdom.”

“Yeah, the same territory Redgrave operates,” Adrian agreed.

“So, we are going to his Majesty’s house,” Ayeka questions.

“What are the options that are given to us? At this point, we have nothing to lose. We just need to find out what the hell he was hiding all these years?” Adrian confirms.

“So, we are not going to tell Shayna after she coughed up $27 million?” Natalia interjected.

“Easy come go, Natalia. Maybe she could try to break even with being a food distributor. Kayla, before we retire for tonight, I would like you to drive me somewhere else and drop me off. There is someone I want to meet personally,” Adrian mocked as Kayla drives off the property.

Meanwhile, she and Shayna hired gunmen ventures into the shipyard finding the cargo.

“Spread out and look around,” Shayna ordered.

“You’re still not well. Stay behind,” one of the assassins suggested.

“I’ll be in the warehouse,” Shayna announced

As Shayna walks over to the front office, ten of her assassins decided to split up and look for the cargo crate. Armed with submachine guns, they scoured the area for any threats as well.

One of the men was lucky enough to find one of the crates on his own. Unfortunately, it was too dark inside. He went for his flashlight until suddenly, someone pulled them into the darkness. He tried to scream, but his voice was muffled immediately.

Hearing something, one of the men turned around and backtracked steps. Not being alone, a small group is with him as they found the open crate. The trio who found the opened container were no fools. They kept their distance.

“Hey, Willis?” One of the henchmen called out.

No answer.

The three men looked at each other with concern as they slowly approached the open crate. One of the men stood behind him, pointing the gun to the darkness as the other two stood side by side; one of them was ready to fire as his partner tried again, “Willis, you in there?”

Nothing again.

Being set up, he turns to his partners. There’s something wrong. One of their partners is on the ground incapacitated. They rush over to him, only to find an arrow sticking out of his shoulder.

“What the fuck--?” Not having the time to react, one of them was struck with an arrow of his own in the shoulder. This time, he screamed out in pain as everyone heard him. It was so loud that even Shayna heard him in the offices of the warehouse. Seeing this, the remaining team member, fled the scene.

This sent everyone into a panic. The safeties were off as the assassins were ready to open fire at anyone. Still, the remaining team member running for his life, whether he believes that being shot by one of his teammates by mistake would be a godsend, had little to no alternatives as for when he made a hard turn to the left he was met by the angelic creature.

Meanwhile, back at the warehouse, Shayna is desperately gathering information in the central offices she’d broken into.

Back at the shipyard, three men were down, and everyone was on high alert. The remaining assassins couldn’t help themselves to feel a little bit out of it. It could be the adrenaline or lack of sleep. It just felt like something was in the air. For some odd reason, they all started to feel a bit dizzy. Started hyperventilating. One of them began to vomit a little.

Delirious and fearful, one man had broken off on his own as he began to shoot at anything that moved. A shadow, he shot at it. Something that was moving, he shot at it. A bird in the sky, he shot at it. Something that resembled a monster, he shot at it until he ran out of bullets in his gun.

Staggering and feeling loopy and aggressive, he yelled out loud, “COME OUT AND FACE ME, YOU COWARD!”

Sadly, his prayers were answered, as a steady hand gripped on his shoulder. As he looked behind him, he shrieked in fear while he was taken down by the winged vigilante.

The rest of the six, decided to play it smart and regroup, meeting at a lighted area. With their backs together, they prepared to shoot anything that that moves.

Unrealistically knowing Memento Dark’s trap, they have sprung, he killed the light and nothing but darkness. Memento Dark dropped in the middle of the group and started attacking. A mixture screams, and gunfire echoed throughout the shipyard.

Hearing this from outside, Shayna looks out the window and sees the chaos in front of him. Taking out the last of the assassins, Memento Dark walks away from the group of broken bodies.

Realizing he is next, Shayna cuts her losses and decides to leave the warehouse. She tries her best to run as fast as she can, but with her condition, it was a bit difficult for her to move quickly as she wanted to. Finally making her way out of the back entrance, Shayna felt a particular tug on her left ankle.

Her greatest fear will be realized as Shayna was hoisted up by his left ankle, ascending from the ground. Screaming in terror, it took Shayna at least 5 ½ seconds to be dangling 100 feet from the ground. Paralyzing fear of being hung upside down with a menacing Memento Dark looking right at him, Shayna clearly decides on his own that it was over for him.

Memento Dark reached out to Shayna by her hair and pulled him close as he started heckling her, “last time I checked, it’s not safe for someone with the flu to be out in the middle of the cold autumn night.”

“FUCK YOU, FAIRY BOY!” Shayna antagonizes.

“Nope, bad idea,” Memento Dark released the rope as Shayna began to fall, only to be caught halfway to the ground and to ascend once more with Memento Dark staring at her again.

Shayna finally realizes she has been beaten, “OKAY! I’M SORRY! PLEASE, DON’T DROP ME!”

“So, I didn’t know that you were a big fan of dog food. Where did it come from, Romania or Ireland?” Memento Dark interrogated.

“I… I didn’t know what was inside the crates, I swear! I only wanted to know what was inside, so I contacted my fellow members to discover the Demon Knight’s hidden assets.”

“You know enough,” Memento Dark bullied.

“I… I only knew Xerxes was hiding something big in R-Romania…” Shayna stammers.

“What?!” Memento Dark bellows.

“I DON’T KNOW!!” Shayna pleaded. “What do you think I…?! W-would all of this…!” She ranted incoherently.

“Oh, now you think I stupid?!” Memento Dark teases.

“NO--!” As Shayna tried to plead with this character, Memento Dark, let’s go of the rope again with her screaming bloody murder. Yet, Memento Dark would spare Shayna as he stops the cable with the only couple of feet left away from the ground. Afterward, Memento Dark cuts Shayna loose, falling flat on her face.

Wasting no time, she gets up and tries to run. Her great escape would be for nothing with the NYPD arriving just in time to stop Shayna. With Memento Dark well hidden in the background, he leaves the scene without a trace.
