The cold ivory night was replaced by a warm orange hue.

A thick smoke rises in the distance. Wick, Tanya and other soldiers were sprinting towards it.

The constant beep of the tracker, their heavy breathing and their noisy steps resonates throughout the forest.

Tanya was at the front while Wick and the other's were close behind.

Her face was full of sweat and her chest's bounce on every stride of her feet.

They are now getting closer and they can now hear the screams and gunshots.

Wick stops to catch his breath.

"I should really stop smoking" he said while panting.

Tanya just continue running, while the other soldiers stop's beside Wick but he urges them to follow her.

A sudden roar made them flinch and made their hair stand on edge. After the roar there was a consicutive explosion.

Whatever or whoever is attacking them, is powerful enough to destroy their tanks and trucks.

Tanya can now feel the heat of the burning bush, trees and vehicle. She can hear the beating of wings and the constant roar of a beast.

She finally arrive and what she saw is utter chaos.

Burning men desperately running and rolling on the ground trying to get rid of the flame.

The smell of burning meat hangs in the air. Constant screams and shots echoes throughout the night.

Men hiding and cowering from the leathery scaled monster in front of them.

It was a dragon, its skin was red as the flames it was spewing. It's wings cover a whole tank and its teeth were sharp as swords.

Tanya quickly hid on a nearby bush, she was desperately thinking of a way to somehow overpower the mighty dragon.

She observed that normal rifle bullets just bounce off it's tough scales.

What about the tanks? she thought.

One of the tanks was burning and was utterly destroyed and the other one was still alright but it's not moving.

Tanya was disappointed as soon she realised that the tank was abandoned and the drivers were running for their lives.

"What the fuck are they doing? Why the hell is Gomez not doing anything?"

"Miss Tanya, Whats going on?" The soldier who was with her asked

"Get down, it's a dragon" She whispered.

"A dragon? Should'nt we be helping them?"

"If you want to be barbecued, go ahead. If we go there now we will just be another burnt corpse."

The soldier gulps in fear. While the five of them were in the bush and discussing on what to do next Wick arrives coughing and breathing heavilly.

"What did I miss?" he asked

"Dragon sir"

"A what?"

His face was filled with a mix of fear and bewilderment. He walks closer and peeks towards the burning battlefields.

He saw the dragons screams in agony as it was hit by an rpg. It immediately retaliates and eats the attacker whole.

Wick retracts his head from the bush and looks at Tanya.

"Any ideas Ms. Graves?"

"Just one."

"Let's hear it."

"Alright, everyone come closer. In order to pull this off we have to work together"

The rest of the soldier nod's in agreement and walks closer to Tanya.

The dragon was now crushing and mutilating a single truck. Underneath it was soldiers screaming and asking for help.

It opens its mouth and unleashes a wave of intense flame on the truck.

The steel trucks starts melting and the melted metal's starts dripping from the ground.

Some of the soldier hiding underneath the truck was scalded with the metal, they were screaming in agony.

All of a sudden Wick and two of his men burst out from the shrubbery and starts spraying the dragon with lead.

Seeing the spectacle and Captain Wick , the soldier who were cowering and hiding starts to get themselves together.

They joined in and start showering the dragon with bullets.

The staccato of bullets bounces and ricochet from his tough scales but some of it wedges between them and this made it scream in pain.

The dragon fights back and swing its mighty tail on a group of soldiers. The soldiers went flying, some of them on the trees while others hit the ground.

The dragon start's flapping it's wings indicating that its gonna fly, but Wick swiftly uses his grenade launches that was attached to his rifle and fires it on the dragon's wings.

The grenade exploded and it made the dragon discombobulated and stunned.

After recovering the dragon roars and set it's sight on Wick and start crawling towards him.

Wick and the other two soldier drop their gun and starts running.

"Why is it that im the bait again, does Ms graves hate me?"

They sprint towards the nearby bush. The dragon was hot on their heels knocking and killing everything in its way.

As soon as dragon got out and destroyed all of the thick shrubbery. It looks around trying to find Wick.

But all it found was a single tank with Tanya at the top mounting a heavy machine gun.

Wick finally comes out and throws a flashbang in the air.

The dragon's eye widen and then it was blinded. The dragon trashed, roar's and then tries to fly away.

"Fire!" Tanya screams

She then released a hail of 12.7 mm bullets barely piercing the dragons scales.

It writhed and scream in pain. It then fire it's flaming breath all around hoping to hit something but it was to no avail.

The tank then fires a round hitting it right in it's face, it fell down on the ground with a loud bang.

They ceased fire waiting for the dust to settle.

Few seconds of carefully inspecting the dragon. It starts to move again.

All of them was surprised that the dragon is still alive, it shakes it's head and starts screaming loudly.

The roar was so loud that all of the soldiers in the vicinity covered their ears.

The dragon slowly gets up and slowly open it's eyes. Its green reptilian eyes focused on Tanya.

It then slowly walks towards her using all its energy left, furiously beating its massive wing's getting ready for a final assault.

"Reverse!"

The engines revs making the massive vehicle go backwards.

While the tank is reversing Tanya is busy shooting the dragon. The bullets engraves and pierced the dragon but its still going after them.

"Hurry up! Reload faster morons!" she screams.

The dragon was now almost face to face with her. It then slowly open it's mouth to deliver a powerful flame on her.

The inside of its mouth glows orange and a trail of smoke starts coming out of its nostrils.

Tanya lifts up her hands and tries to cover herself.

Few second later a loud bang.

Tanya slowly opens her eyes. The dragon stoppped moving, it's chest was burnt and has a huge cracked.

A trail of blood starts flowing, the dragon flails its head, and it's eyes slowly losing life.

It fell, crushing boulder and trees along the way.

Tanya gives a sigh of relief, the soldiers who was driving the tank cheers.

Wick who was running towards them jumped up and down and then stopped immediately because he was out of breath.

Tanya slump her shoulder and leans on the machine gun smiling and thanking the gods for living another day.

"What do you mean you have only one room left?" Ramza's voice echoes throughout the Inn.

"We are sorry sir, because of the sightings of a flame dragon nearby, many adventurers flocked here"

"You're sure you dont want to share?"

The middle age woman on the counter looks at Ramza and then to Abby.

"I dont mind, We get two separate bed right?"

"No dear, its one big bed"

Abby blushes and then thinks for a minute.

"Uhmn ok , im fine with it"

"Are you out of your mind?" Ramza interrupts.

"What? You hate women right?"

He drags Abby and whispers in her ear.

"Yeah, I might hate them but im still a man. Are you not afraid what i might do to you?"

She pushes Ramza "You, do something to me?" Abby laughs.

"Fine." Ramza sighs.

"We will take the room"

"Excellent, that would be one night right?"

He nods. " With a free breakfast that would be one gold coin"

Ramza hands her the gold coin then proceeds to walk towards a vacant table.

The inn was full of adventurers chatting, laughing and drinking. In the corner was a bard singing the adventure of the Mystic.

His voice fills the room serenading the whole inn.

Ramza founds a table on the corner of the room near a window. He signals Abby to join him.

After settling in a bar maid approach them.

"What's it gonna be sir?" a young women asked.

"Ill have an eterna special and a glass of bear please". Ramza said

"How about you miss?"

"Uhmm, do you have a menu?"

"Menu?" the perplexed bar maid answered.

"Nevermid, ill just have what he have please."

"You got it"

The bar maid leaves and goes to another room. The sound of the inn drowns the two of them.

"Wow, this place is packed" Abby said.

"Yeah"

"This song is pretty catchy too"

"Oh you mean the adventures of the Mystic?"

"The mystic?"

"Yeah he was the one who almost united all the kinds here in Terra"

Abby just gives Ramza a confused look.

He sighs and start telling the story.

"Long story short an unknown man equipped with a vast weird knowledge of life mysteriously came to existence right as an all out three way war is about to break loose."

"He and his party almost united the three factions of Terra 20 years ago"

"The Human's on the North and West, The elves and the dwarfs on the east, the demons and beastkind on the south."

The bards then stops singing and was called by a bunch of guys to sit with them.

"He traveled all around with only one mission, to stop the fighting."

"He was carrying this weird artifact that flashes and captures the moment, I forgot what mother told me."

"You mean like a camera?"

"Oh yeah it was called the Kamra, wait how did you know this?"

"It's because our world has the same artifact, i mean gadget."

"Really? Weird." Ramza said while Rubbing his chin.

Their order arrives, Ramza thanks the bar maid and give her a few silver coins.

The sound of the inn was silenced when they hear an eerie cry of a dragon in the distance.

"What was that?"
