I hear voices trying to call someone. As I groan, the first things I notice are the slight swaying of my sling bed, the breeze of the sea, and the noise of a busy day at a port. I guess that means I'm still on the ship, docked at the Le Havre Naval Base.

“Hey, you. You’re finally awake.”

Yes, that seems to be the case with how noisy you are. Who is it that disturbed my nice little nap? Removing the hat over my face, I now see about a dozen men, wherein about nine of them are in the same army-issued gambeson as I. It's obvious the military is on a tight budget, they can't even give us leather armor. However, the remaining three of the guests stand out as they wear metal armor.

...Knights. Welp.

"Well, good morning, Sirs. What can I do for you today?" I said.

"I, Baron Baffoon, have received permission from the Admiral to borrow this ship of yours. We are to sail before evening."

Geh. You would have to be a big shot to be able to get permission from another big shot, and big shots are usually a big pain. But why are you telling that to me? Oh, I get it.

"Let me escort you to the captain's office."

After I've shown them to the captain, who is a tad bit surprised, I immediately made a run for it. Here I thought that guarding a transport ship is less troublesome. Well, it's certainly less dangerous though. Oh, about me sleeping earlier, that's because we just arrived at the port a few hours ago! And that man was telling us that we're leaving again?!

When I returned to the deck, I stared at the port town-cum-naval base. It seems like I would not be getting any rest today.

As I look down upon the gangway, I see men and women—probably squires and servants of the knights earlier—are bringing in crates, chests, and sacks. The crates and even the sacks, probably carry food for the journey ahead. The chests, however, I can't confirm.

Very Intriguing.

Thinking that I may be able to help, I went out of my way to 'inspect' the goods. There I caught sight of two people who I presume is a squire and a maid.
