“No, there is no point in leaving this place too. I have to endure it wherever we go” I said.

“Alright” Iain says.

“Oh right, your friend Calvin called me this afternoon”

“For what?” I say.

“He was talking about some road trip and said that you refused to go with them” he says.

“Yeah, I don’t want to”

“Actually you need to try living like a normal person, going out with friends, enjoying with them. You can’t be like this forever” he said worriedly.

“You think I haven’t tried. I also want to live like an ordinary girl but…I just couldn’t do that. Whenever i feel like I have forgotten everything even just for a moment, that creepy voice and his bloody face appears right in front of me. That reminds me of every single thing of that terrifying night three years back” I say.

“I understand. It’s been really hard for you and I am not able to help you much despite being your big brother” Iain said.

I had tears in my eyes. “Don’t be like this. You did more than enough for me. I know you are working hard for us since then. I am the one who is coward”

When we left from our home we had nothing but some money which could help us to rent a house only for two months. We both didn’t want to go back to that house. In all this three years he worked really hard for whatever we have today.

“You silly! Let’s just not talk about all this. Yeah, I forget to tell you, your friends are coming tonight” he said.

“Why they are coming?” I say. Stephen and Calvin never really came here.

“To convince you” he said.

“Okay” I say.

Iain went outside for something.

Stephen and Calvin came at night. We chatted for some time.

After a while the doorbell rang. I went to open the door, it was Iain. He came in.

“They are here” I said.

He looked at them and for a moment he was stunned. He had never met them before personally.

“Hello” Calvin said.

Iain was still lost in thoughts.

“Hey, Iain” I nudge him.

He glanced coldly at stephen and said, "have we met somewhere before?"
