Everlasting Aeternum
Jack (Mac) McCabe sighed peacefully as he gazed over the seagulls hovering on top of gentle whitecaps as the ship pulled out of the bay. He was playing a deckhand on this maiden voyage of the “HMS” Steadfast and he was damned lucky to have gotten even this modest post. The ship was a fully functional three masted replica of a 1750's English gunship from naval history. A tech billionaire was fulfilling his lifelong dream of sailing around the world on it and had spared no expense. The vessel was entirely made of authentic repurposed timber and artifacts. The only new things on the ship were the sails and ropes and some electronics hidden below. Every person on the ship was ex military from some Navy and most were amateur historians of one type or another.
Jack was a freshly retired Navy vet of fifteen years and was dawdling around looking for something interesting to do when an old Navy Seal buddy contacted him with the idea of joining the vessel for its first trip. He landed his spot because he was good with weapons and could double down as security.
The gig was a minimum six month commitment. Perfect for clearing his head and figuring out what he wanted to do with the rest of his life. He was a 37 year old buff killing machine that had spent almost no time in polite society and needed this time to adjust himself socially. It was a perfect stroke of luck and Jack was going to take advantage of it.
The planned route was to leave from Miami, sail south through the Atlantic towards the Southern Ocean and around the Cape of Good Hope stopping at various ports all around the world. This was no straight speed run, but rather a pleasure cruise and media hype tour. Jack chuckled to himself vowing to stay away from all of the social media posts that were bound to start popping up all over the web.

The first leg south towards Antarctica was the longest and most dangerous and the crew was just getting adjusted to its new duties. Jack was going to be working a lot of rope and sail and was excited to be given this sneak peek into the past of how the sailors of yore went about their daily lives onboard.
Jack's buddy Sean came up behind him and clapped him on the shoulder. “I'm so pumped for this, you feelin it too?”
Jack turned around smiling. “Bro, I can't believe I am saying this, but I haven't been this excited since we spent that week in Hawaii at that surf shack!”
Sean nodded grinning at his friend. “Awesome man! I wouldn't want to do this with anyone else brother. We are going to hit up like 30 cities and get in all kinds of mischief!”
“Anywho, the Bosun wants to go over our first day assignments and rotations. We are having a meeting below deck in 5 min. I’m here to collect your daydreaming ass. I saw you staring at the ocean like a long lost girlfriend.!”
Jack chuckled. “You know me and the sea man. We have a tight bond. I have spent more time on her than on shore. Let’s head down right now I need a bottle of water.”
The two men headed across the deck companionably, unaware of how this voyage was going to change their lives… eternally.

The Dungeon Calls for a Sage
Archimedes was the ego behind one of the most powerful dungeons ever created. He grew and developed his halls, filling them with powerful monsters and beasts, over the course of thousands of years. He was a grand structure of ten thousand floors which even heroes had failed to defeat. However, an Evil God had come from another world, calling himself the Demon King, and a party of heroes were sent to do battle with it. Through their victory, they obtained enough strength to breeze through Archimedes' dungeon like it was nothing. Forseeing the end of his life, and realizing how pointless his pursuit of power had been, Archimedes destroyed himself, taking the heroes down with him. Still, Archimedes felt despair that he had lived a worthless life as something as pitiful and futile as a dungeon. Sensing his regret and potential, the voice of the world presented Archimedes with the chance to start anew and live a more meaningful life. Thrilled and hopeful for the first time in eons, Archimedes accepted the offer, only to be reborn again as a dungeon core with not a single room or monster to his name. Just what was the meaning of this?! Archimedes couldn't figure out what the voice of the world was thinking. Somehow, he would have to draw a sage into his dungeon to figure it out for him. _______________________ DCS is now a member of the WriTEr's Pledge, which means I have sworn to see it through to a satisfying end.

This is a story of Shiro, a 12 year old girl who wished to adventure around the world. Only to end up in an untimely death. When she wakes up, she finds herself in what seems to be a new world, and her body has changed to that of a catkin. Using her knowledge from knowing literature of people in similar situations and adventuring, she tries to make a place for herself in this new world. Only to find out that reality is far crueler than one would imagine. Even with what one would call an OP unique skill and other OP advantages, she finds things quickly fall apart regardless how hard she tries. Thus she seeks more and more power to not only survive, but to protect what is important to her. Unbeknownst to her though, lies within her an ancient power time primordial. A power so vast it can bring anything to its knees. This ancient power can easily be unlocked with just one sentence, but this sentence shall never be spoken. Instead, Shiro will embark on a new path to gaining a new different kind of power as she moves forward in this new world. WARNING: The first few volumes will have tragedy, which will disappear at around Volume 5 or 6. From then on it will be just pure OP-ness and having fun. While I personally like OP characters and don’t like tragedies myself, I think it is unrealistic that a person goes to an unknown and everything just magically go their way via plot armor. So I wanted to build up a more realistic OP reincarnation novel where MC struggles through a new world regardless of their advantages due to gaps in knowledge (despite how prepared she was) and simply not having enough strength at the time. ------------------------------------------- This is my first poor attempt at a story. I read a lot of novels overall and was in the mood to see how well I can write one. Expect a lot of mistakes here and there as I am pretty new to writing. Releases should be about 2 times a week(changed due to chapter size pretty much doubling) unless stated otherwise or inbetween volumes. I will at least commit to finishing the volume I am on (Nothing worse than a story being cut off mid story). So give me your comments what you think. I don't mind if the comments are bad and etc. Just lay off the grammar nazi (My only weakness)

Certainly becoming the concubine of a pirate is better than the alternative—the avaricious lecher, Duke Korr? This story is approximately 30,000 words, or 120 pages. It needs an edit, and I'll try to upload a chapter a day until its completion.
