The moment shadow asked the question, the bracelet just remained motionless not activating or moving , It appeared that nothing was happening and that there was no ai, shadow scratched his head thinking to himself could he be mistaken?

But as Shadow was second guessing himself the bracelet started to emit a glow, a small faint glow of crimson. However that faint glow soon flickered out of sight leaving no evidence of its existence. Shadow in the middle of second guessing himself has missed this vital clue.

Deciding its time to finish. he clicks the button for deactivation however he accidentally brushes against the flickering faint crimson glow, at the moment of contact the bracelet started to emit crimson light and. suddenly a screen appeared in front of Shadow.

Congratulation user Shadow, you have found the hidden feature within all id bracelets, an electronic race called polygons that has agreed to act as AIs for the bracelets, The electronic race called Polygons have a contract with the system, in which in turn have a weaker contract with the user of the system. In exchange for lending their powers to help the user, the user would have to increase their strength through a better power source (currently its the free 1 week power basic energy block) and a better operating system.

However currently your hidden feature ai is undergoing some unknown changes due to an unknown external influence.

As a special service for being one of the life forms that has discovered the ai within their bracelet, the system will allow you to discard your current ai due to unknown external influences and will provide with another one, or the system will slow down the transformation process in order to have a still functional ai while it is still undergoing its changes.

Which option do you wish to pick user Shadow, the first option of a new ai or the second option of keeping it.

Flabbergasted at the situation, Shadow started to ponder the 2 choices should he choose the s safe option or the risky option.

If he chooses the safe option of getting a new life form to inhabit his id bracelet to act as his AI, which will then immensely help him with the features of the system. It means that he will have a guarantee safe ai that would work however it wouldn't be anything special.

In this new universe lifeforms will need every help they can get to survive the slaughter that will occur soon.

Shadow ended up summarizing the advantages of the New AI in his head to simply things,

New AI, allows me to have a more comprehensive view of the systems and their features, allows the user to be more efficient in using the features and faster as the AI isn't undergoing any changes so it could go at full power from the start. It will be able to connect with the system set up by the administrators faster, there could be unknown benefits in the future as well.

The most important point is that it is safe and loyal to the user due to the contract between the 2 the user and the system, in which the AI counts for a part of the system however the contract isn't 100%, its more 50% as the user is using a intermediary and therefore the link is weaker than a direct contract. Thus lowering its overall effectiveness until a direct contract is made.

But the new AI, wouldn't be special it would be the same as all the others, to survive i need all the help i can get though hmmmmmmm. The bracelet would just become ordinary aside from sword resonance. The help given will also slightly be reduced due to the contract being halved is the safety worth it?

On the other hand the second option, is for the AI (its a life form btw) to slow down its transformation, so while its still being transformed it is done more slowly allowing the ai to still assist the user with its service although it would be basic assistance as they are still being transformed.

The slow down current AI- allows for a different AI which could be better than the normal AI, it would be a variant version of its race the polygons. Meaning its potential could be much higher than its other members of its race. It would have a 75% contract as the change is initiated from a power similar to my power allowing for a more closer contract link.

However this option would mean the user has to make do with the most basic explanation and the most basic usage of its features unable to run properly due to the AI being incapacitated. Also the transformation could end up being a failure and worsen the AI instead.

Feeling pressured from the short amount of time, Shadow was about to choose the risky path until he realized something a third hidden option that the system didn't mention.

To leave it alone and let the external influence do what it works to do on the AI polygon. Shadow upon realizing this forced his brain into overload thinking about the 3rd option with only 45 seconds left. Shadow noticed by letting the power takes it's course he would have a 100% contract as Shadow realized that the AI was undergoing a mini trial caused by his leaking power during his trial. And the most important thing to past the trial was to let the life form itself past without outside help, as it would make the trial worse, so the second option is out of the question with only 5 seconds left SHADOW SHOUTED" I CHOOSE OPTION 3 LEAVE IT ALONE".

Shadow although feeling a bit nervous about his rash decision (hes in calm mode btw), that was unbecoming of him in his calm mode waited until a screen appeared in front of Shadow.

im really lazy writing as i go, bad writing in general, barely any editing, no plan , etc. i wont be realeasing as fast asi uesed to due to school work thats coming up close and other factors. although i planned to write about desire and the othre stuff after the setting looks like that would ahve to be the next chapeter, and then i swap povs to other characters and have a scaling to show the power levels of characters etc.
